You can't ask others by giving you a merits. All you have to do is make your own words by commenting not only in one thread and give some effort for your post, so every will read and if they liked your post, they will give you merits. For now, I am happy that I am Full Member, and it is not a big deal if I am not going to higher rank.
Did you really rank up from Member to Full member after the launch of merit system?
I can not find any merits you received in your merit history over the last 120 days. What happened with your account?
Which experiences have you really had with merit system?

Honestly, I feel tired and boring with such words in your thread, which are so popular after merit system launched. Posters did it as efforts to earn merits.

I love my wife and my little girl
I think before i reached jr.member my main problem that i could encouter is the merit system ,i know its hard to get because you need to have a quality post ,so for the beginner here in this forum we need to do our best ,good luck!
Instead of making such non-sense thread to increase your postcount, you should spend your time to read more about the forum rules, the merit system and new rank requirements, Newbies should read before posting (by Laura). And lots of helpful topics from TMAN, iasenko, athanz.
Good luck, comrade

You have not right to begging merit for signature camping. You can't expect your rank will upgrade for earning from bounty and signature. Are Bitcointalk only for bounty camping? Never it's not. Yes you can join bounty and earn but don't expect merit for that. First try to give something meaningful and learnable to this community. And learn from other member's too. So please make high quality post and avoid spam and promote on Bitcointalk. So once upon a time you will get merit sure. Thanks

You have purchased a copper membership, so obviously you are serious about your membership of Bitcoin Talk. Your English has so many errors and misuses, that you are going to be passed over, ignored, or become the butt of abuse and criticism. There are numerous attempts by members of this forum to help posters to improve their English. Have you taken part in any of these projects, and, just as a matter of my personal interest, if you haven't, can I ask why you haven't considered it?

Honestly, you should compose your threads better than this one.

No need to say this! Everyone know that fact and those basic principles. I am really tired of such repeated threads on how to earn merits, such as yours.

A 'morderator' sounds more like a post killer, than a person who keeps posts within reasonable limits. Maybe we need more morderators here. Smiley

You see the problem we have here with people who don't have much appreciation of English. The member who vets the posts is called a 'moderator'. The inclusion of the extra letter 'r' makes the word look as if it is associated with the word 'mordant', which means cruel and criticising. Nobody seemed to pick up on this, and some continued with the misspelling.

morderators should be morderating the sourcers rather than post.
A 'morderator' sounds more like a post killer, than a person who keeps posts within reasonable limits...

What are you talking about? Moderator sounds like a post killer? I wish you luck in this forum.

Moderators are doing great job cleaning garbage on this forum. They act very fast and I am happy to see that reported posts are deleted very fast and all reports are taken seriously.

Lately, I read about a member who reported more as 150 posts in only one day in one topic. This shows the scale of spam moderators have to handle on daily basis. I think this is great that spam is deleted because the quality of reading is better. Together with "ignore" button works like a magic.

A lot of members thinks it's enough to write a long post with the right number of characters so that it's not deleted by moderators as spam and some even think that it's enough to get a merit. This is certainly not enough, long posts but not on the subject or not adding nothing to the discussion are also spam.

I thought at the beginning similarly but after a few of my long posts were removed I started to wonder what I'm doing wrong. I realized that despite the fact that my posts are long and grammatically correct, they don't bring anything new to the discussion but are just an insight or opinion like many others before.

I also have a problem to get any merit but I try not to give up only to develop. Merit system has greatly influenced the quality of my posts because I started to pay attention to correct spelling and grammar. For which I'm very grateful because I have always had problems with it because English isn't my mother language.

Moderators are not able to screen all topics, everywhere in the forum to catch shit posters, and give them punishments. So, more moderators is not a solution, that is also why we have witness the launch of merit system.
Thanks Theymos, forum admin, because of important decision to launch such powerful system for the forum.

Exactly! It is harder and harder to earn merits day by day, because allocated/ rewarded sMerits at the launch of merit system will dissappear (more exactly, will be completely used) over time. After that, only constructive, deserved users will earn new sMerits, and they will consider very carefully before deciding to give their sMerits away to someone else.
It's very difficult to get a merit point
Wrong! No one stay here all the time (in the forum) to help you or to scan around the forum to find high-qualitied threads and give authors of those threads sMerits. It's unrealistic!
they have to be active all the time and for that they have to get something
Wrong too! The approach will lead to another tsunami of massive abusements from account farmers in the forum, which will operate oppositely with original purposes of merit system.
and morderators should be morderating the sourcers rather than post.It will form a chain and a every thread will have it's sourcer so that quality post will get appreciated. That's my point.

So I joined a signature campaign and they removed JR. Member bounties. Now I am having a problem on how to be a Member ranked. I just learned that I need 10 merits to have a member rank. So to any JR. Member here, let's do our best to make quality content so that someone will recognize our efforts in making our community better.

If anyone can provide a link to people giving merits after doing something good or productive please give link so I can earn merits not by asking people but because of my effort and for JR. Members to have a reference too.

Thank you so much. Have a nice day  Smiley
It's very difficult to get a merit point or even appreciation of your post when so many people are on to one single topic.I personally think the concept of merit is not that bad  but the system of it needs some repairing work the sourcer need to get pay or they have to be active all the time and for that they have to get something and morderators should be morderating the sourcers rather than post.It will form a chain and a every thread will have it's sourcer so that quality post will get appreciated. That's my point.

Nobody is making you do anything.  You are willingly coming here and posting crap because you can get paid to do it, and you obviously haven't read a word I wrote about the punctuation thing--or you don't care.
I'm write here because I thought  there were more friendly people, but you show the opposite ..I write as I can to the maximum at the moment...How can I not answer when you hurt my feelings! I understand your criticism, I study English, but it's not a matter of one day.. so hard for me! and for  "Other" do not consider messages for my Signature campaign you only think about the bad, and the Juniors are not considered human beings!!!  My dream is to become a Member only! i have now nearly four in the morning...Thanks for the dialogue, good luck!

I call it how I see it.  You own your own feelings, and I am not responsible for those.
Similarly, I can answer you! You are in a very comfortable position.. can only criticize, but we need support from people like you to improve skill, but you love to keep only judging ! Why do I say that ? I looked at your messages , 10 pages have your mention "shitpost"  about a 100 times !!! Will suffice to scoff at the people,we do the best we can !!!

This system  makes us communicate in language  that know badly

Signature campaign managers really need to be cracked down on so that they don't accept garbage posters like this one above.  Either the lower ranks need to be eliminated from consideration altogether, or they should pay for posts in the local boards.

I'm not opposed to non-English speakers getting paid to post by any means, but there are people who quite obviously shouldn't even be trying to write stuff in the main section.  The only reason they do so is because they're incentivized by the campaigns.  Unfortunately it doesn't matter what I think.  Until the higher ups decide to crack down, there is nothing anyone can do--except to not give merit to shitposters.

when you hurt my feelings!

This post is a load of horse shit, and it almost burns my eyes to look at it.
Thank you for your criticism,I'm trying to improve my skills. But this is not easy, especially when there is a near at hand googl translate...)..I always check back what I wrote, but this does not give a good result as I understood, after your comment)~ This system  makes us communicate in language  that know badly~ I have many thoughts, but because of the limitation in the language barrier, I can't express them correctly... sry dude for eyes,I'm realy trying to do it's good)...

The real solution to the problem of good posts not being awarded merit doesn't lie in the merit system. As I have pointed out in a number of posts, if a post isn't seen by the right merit awarder, then it will not receive an award - that's a fairly obvious statement. It's the necro-bumpers, thread bloaters, post replicators and producers of incomprehensible text that cause the problem, and they are depriving members of their deserved merits.

I believe that a period of heavy modding with threat locking, merging and deletion, together with post deletion, will do wonders for the junior members who are hoping to improve their ranking.
Another real reason is merit awarder hard to see good posts among hundreds of shitty ones, which abundant in the forum and covered good ones. Most of shitty ones come from spammers. They are likely doing great works, turning the forum to landfill area to dump their shits.
