Yeah it is bad that scammers are getting their ways into the crypto world, which ultimately will have impact on the genuine projects. It is very bad for investors who are cheated under various pretexts. So we have to be extra cautious about such scams. Therefore this is how regulation is needed. In bounty campaigns too, those involved in it are cheated either by not giving them rewards they get.
Yes, a lot of Scammer are in bounty campaign, sad to say, that i was one of many victims for such bounty campaigned, 2 months ago the said campaign ended with the Bang.... it also goes with us participant for such campaign, banging our head for none payment of our time and efforts, all are wasted.
Its quite unfortunate that the crypto platform has become such a scam crowed platform, the fact is that there are way too many of them and most of the people have fallen victim of such projects and lost lots of money , one has to be very cautious when involving in these projects for you might never know where you are getting yourself in

We all know that the market is really huge now and there are a lots of abusive people will take advantage the era of cryptocurrency. All we can do is be more cautious on what platform/projects should we invest because doing some research before engaging in any such kind of investments will probably avoid problems in the future.

I also experienced the same thing like you, but most of what I experienced is that ico did not reach softcap so the project was canceled, and in the end bounty campaign also not paid, do you experience the same thing?
Its always was a lot of scam ICO, you just need to do better your research check everything you can before investing in ICO.

The best solution for this problem is go out the ICO market and never join any ICO project in the future, right?About bounty, there are many bounty campaigns delay the distribute time for a long time.
If I remember not wrong, Exscudo bounty from May, 2017 just payed in the last month for bounty hunter
Or I got my reward after waited 2 months from TheAbyss bounty campaign.
scam projects every time it must exist because many people are abusing this. therefore if you want to minimize the scam project you should deepen the science of analysis a project because if you can do. So you can be shunned from the project
This wide range of scams is because of our community - somebody will support scam anyway just to receive money, not for crypto pyrposes. And scams will appear all the time there will be such people 
More scams project means it is unstoppable at this time.
In the couple of months I believed scams ICOs will prevent in crypto landing to minimize it.

The recent busted attempt to scam was this GraphenTech project https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-graphentech-the-first-cryptocurrency-based-on-a-revolutionary-material-4667284
Its busted by user who have investigate the team members, you got to love how their CEO try to conceal himself but still got busted. Read the whole thread its amazing to see forum members are becoming very cautious to projects aiming so high like this one.

yes I also heard a lot of bad news about many scam projects lately. this bothered me because I was just trying to join a bounty campaign. maybe i should learn a lot and be more careful.
Opposite. I think that there are less and less scam projects, because there are less and less people who can be scammed. I think you are mix unsuccessful projects with scam.
Scammers are now very good on masking their ICO to look like a legitimate project.
i already noticed that too. apparently they learn from their mistakes and improve their scams. they still make mistakes, but they are becoming fewer and fewer. i do not like this development at all. if it goes on, you can not distinguish a scam soon from a reputable ico. i just do not like that.
The opportunity to make money from this market is too easy. Everyone wants to quickly get a profit. The ICO was launched to raise capital, because there was no law or regulation or any organization controlling ICO project planning so it was easy to mobilize. There is no legal protection for investors when buying the tokens of the scam project
