I still have a strong belief in the good altcoin on the market as its management team is day by day building on the true value of their coin. Do not be too pessimistic about the future of coin when you are investing in this market. I believe that the market will develop very well in the future and the altcoin really potential will flourish.

This is true because MOST CRYPTOS are scam and just a rehash of bitcoin or ethereum and should be avoided. Those are just pump and dump coins. This is different from bitcoin, or ethereum or any other crypto that has actual use and functions. They will survive and will have real value.

But if you just read it without analyzing, this kind of thread becomes FUD thread just because if someone says crypto, it automatically relates to bitcoin and that is a bad thing.

I previously thought that was BS and FUD by the media but now as I learn more about cryptos and what is useful it seems to me that is true. Not sure how many coins will be obsolete but looking at the market now perhaps 100 coins would remain.

He said "most" crypto, he didn't mention bitcoin.

Ok, I missed to consider this part, but there is no need to be a banker to know most cryptocurrencies won't survive... Just look at the name used for some, I mean seriously who is going to trust the project in the long run. Everyone wants to make his own cryptos but add nothing new to the table, or not so much...

As quoted from CNBC there is a cryptocurrency will be zero.

What do you think?

Have you seen who did this research? who did the research was Goldman Sachs,

Quote

-Most cryptocurrencies are likely to fail with their value falling to zero, Goldman Sachs said in a note.
-The investment bank compared the current market to the "internet bubble of the late 1990s."
-Steve Strongin, head of Goldman Sachs global investment research, said that most cryptocurrencies are unlikely to see their recent peaks again.

in October of last year they said:

Quote
Cryptocurrencies like bitcoin are not the "new gold," Goldman Sachs said in a note, advising investors that precious metals "remain a relevant asset class" in portfolios.

they support gold and other metals, bitcoin is a big obstacle to their business, do you think they will praise bitcoin and altcoins? of course not! so do not take what they say seriously, because neither can they be sure of the predictions they are making

"Gold wins out over cryptocurrencies in a majority of the key characteristics of money,"
Goldman said.

Who believes in CNBC anyways? If you are monitoring coinmarketcap you will notice that there is no such thing as zero dollar cryptocurrency. Trading sites will delist a cryptocurrency but still there is no such thing as buying or selling crypto at zero dollars. That's the highest level of stupidity.

It could be possible as many altcoins created everyday and it happens that developers also won't take any concerns from their coins and just left outside. This events may usually happen to low volume coins which investors can't take to invest with and it could be somewhat to feel that it is already dead especially when we look at their market history it's not even moving.

Definitely must altcoins that start some years ago some of those altcoins are dead already, mind you  this is not because of the stupid prediction made. Fault mainly comes from the dev team.

You have to choose a potential coin because not all coins have good potential. Study it first before making a choice.

This is absolutely correct. There are many coins in the top 100 that currently should be worth nothing. Verge and Tron spring to mind immediately - both are 100% scams, yet still idiots buy them. The majority of ICOs and new coins coming out are scams, designed only to make the developer some fast and easy money. They will all be worth nothing in the long term.

If you are thinking of investing for the long term, then the safest thing to do is invest in coins with finished working products, real world uses, and major partnerships. Coins like ETH, NEO, XMR, VEN, ICX, OMG, XRB.

TRON certainly isn't a scam. The team is still actively working on the project.

They have a couple of missteps at the beginning with focusing too much with promoting their project that they were excited about + badly translated white paper that left out many details of the original, including making sure to include references to parts taken from other whitepapers (hence the FUD of plagiarism) -- which is a very good thing for me, as I do see long-term potential in this ambitious project, and have picked up some TRX since it had hit rock bottom. Wink

The team now have learnt their lesson and are just focusing to develop TRON and aggressively push for adoption. They are still very active if you search up what they are doing now.
Believe in the project or not, they certainly are not a scam.

But Goldman Sachs invested itself in a Bitcoin-related company.
I don't know who on earth thinking Cryptocurrencies will crash to zero, would invest in a Bitcoin company

98% of the cryptocurrencies have no real-world value. Invest only in the cryptocurrencies that have a working product and not only promises.

If you invest majority in Ethereum and Bitcoin you're safe.

This is why I will not bet on any altcoins that has an MCAP of lower than 20Million USD -- unless there is a very good reason for me to put some money into it, and even then, most probably, I'll only inject like 100 USD max.
Way too risky for me.

Funny crypto trollers. Just in my last post only I have noticed fucking troller of crypto currencies. Mark my words, in next 10 years bitcoins and other crypto currencies will wash out the banking or all banks will implement the one crypto as their mainstream online payment option.
Hereafter fake news will not able to dump the crypto currency value. You can every coin as green value from the past three days.

This is next to impossible as every token will be at one satoshi and never below it.
unless the token will be out on any market and not listed anywhere.
Remember any ICO can't go below 1 Satoshi, and that is always true! once listed the lowest value will have sat on it.

The value can indeed go only as low as one satoshi but there is one other small problem.
Just like rotten apples in the supermarket sold for 1% of the price, nobody would want to buy them.
So, their value is actually 0.

Fortunately for tokens , as they rely on ETH, they can't really die, but in the case of altcoins, when the price hits 1 satoshi the mining stops, the nodes go offline , the coin is dead.

And a lot of coins and a lot of tokesn will end up being useless.
Why do you need a banancoin and a orangecoin?
Why do you need a token for carsharing, one for car riding , one for sharing a car and one for riding a car?
There are (I counted them a week a go) no less than 20 tokens who want to be the next UBER...

It's just an opinion from certain person, we can't garuantee that it will happen, and that's the truth or fact.
But still, it's very possible that it will happen. Seeing that now many coins are losing its value more and more, i'm not gonna suprised if they're dead or such.
I want to believe that cryptocurrency will be able to survive though, since it's actually a good development and also a very valuable thing, something that can make a change in this world and it'll be a futile if it's gonna ended and crash soon.

Not quoting CNBC or what a financial firm says, but obviously most cryptos will come down to zero. Blockchain, uniqueness, initial stage, experimentation, developments, adoption, simple cycle of a coin. If a project doesn't have something new to offer, rehashing the existing module with Blockchain is temporary, not a solution, but one's with real utility will get through.
