Doing the 2-day week-end thing, why not, but doing it at a track the drivers aren't used to isn't ideal. Of course it might give us some more excitement, we shall see. Raikkonen has actually raced F1 there, more than a decade ago !

This weekend F1 will back at Imola, since they had only 4 days to move everything from Portugal to Italy this weekend it will be special and it will be only a 2 day event.

Friday nothing at all.
Saturday, free practice in the morning and qualify in the afternoon.

Sunday race.

I'm very happy about the Imola track this year. This is an oldschool classic track, every mistake cost a lot oft time or the race is over, could be an exciting race behind the Mercedes.

For 2021 the Formula1 will 23 races in one year, i think this is to mich for the Teams?

I'm not a fan of Albon (I have nothing against him either) but clearly he can't manage the Red Bull. I would really like for the teams to swap back between him and Gasly.

Gasly might not be of that opinion though, going against Verstappen is no gift. If the AlphaTauri continues to give him good opportunities, that's fine for him for at least another season.

I think Gasly is more comfortable at AlphaTauri then he would be at Red Bull. He can't handle the pressure next to Verstappen. Every driver is compared to the other driver of the team and no that much driver can compete Verstappen at this moment.

Just let him drive at AlphaTauri where he is comfortable.

I don't agree. The comfort zone in every job has not given someone anything good,it has just keep him stagnant and this is the risk for Gasly when staying at AlphaTauri.Of course he will gain more experience and become stronger but if he had moved to Red Bull he would have become much stronger than staying at AlphaTauri. We also need good drivers like him to race good cars like Red Bull in order to have more competition and to watch more beautiful races on Tv.

I'm happy that he will stay in Alpha Tauri, he have great season with this team. I doubt that return to Red Bull would be good decision. IMO, Gasly and Albon are similar level drivers and both aren't good enough to stay near to Verstappen, I doubt that Gasly would have significantly better results in Red Bull than Albon. Verstappen is racing in his own league, while 2nd Red Bull get too much pressure to finnish in 4th position at least and don't let Mclaren, Raing Point and Renault drivers in front.
Seems that Red Bull may change their strategy and take experienced driver not from their system to the team, like Perez or Hulk. But then, where Albon will go?

At least I hope that Albon is not going to sign a new contract at Redbull.. It would be so unfair for Gasly.

When he drives any longer behind Verstappen as right now there is no chance for Albon to get a further contract with Red Bull.
Always 0,5 seconds behind the teammate is not a good application for 2021 Wink

AlphaTauri retains Pierre Gasly for 2021 F1 season. So he won't go to Red Bull next year but he deserves the seat in AlphaTauri. He is driving a great season.

I feel sad for him.
Personally, I expected him to return to Redbull because he is showing this season that he deserve it and he would be of a great team along with Max Verstappen.

Now Vettel has to move away instantly from Ferrari as I think this offense can be taken seriously and if I were Vettel I would quit right away.

The relationship between Vettel and Ferrari broke down a while ago. He just has to see out his (extremely lucrative) contract now. He is disappointed in the company, they are disappointed in him. But we are nearing the end of the season now, and I can't see that Vettel's motivation - or the motivation of the team to help him - will improve. Both are just running down the clock until they can move on.

From an outsider's perspective, they're both right. Ferrari this season has a poor car. But Vettel has been disappointing too. The crucial factor though is that in the past couple of years Ferrari have had a car that's right up there with Mercedes, but Vettel hasn't been good or consistent enough to challenge. So forgetting this season and looking further back to when this all started... I have more sympathy for Ferrari than for Vettel.

Italians for me are the ones who invented irony. This reminds me of Zidane against Materazzi in World Cup 2006 where Zidane told Materazzi that if he wanted the shirt he would give to him after the game and Materazzi replied I prefer more your sister which degenerated in the famous header from Zidane.

Now Vettel has to move away instantly from Ferrari as I think this offense can be taken seriously and if I were Vettel I would quit right away.I don’t believe in the contract between Vettel and Ferrari there are clauses where they can call him second driver, joking or not and in a certain matter even being prepotent and offending Seb.

Binotto left a "funny" statement.
Journalists had asked him if the cars between Vettel and Leclerc were the same or if they had any differences.
He practically replied this way: the cars are the same, Charles is very good and we expect more from a second driver like Sebastian.

FLAMED  Grin

Did he really said that?  Shocked

You can't say that about an old Champion. Vettel isn't be supported well by his own team so it's now only his fault he isn't doing that well as Charles.

Fake news.... There is no such statement in the internet posted in no website.
It would be very disrespectful by him to say that in the middle of the championship.
If anyone can find this statement, just post it here that we are sure that he did say that, otherwise it never happened...

Nobody watched MotoGP Truel yesterday? Franco Morbidelli of Petronas Yamaha SRT, won that day. After pole sitter Takaaki Nakagami fell, Morbidelli comfortably took first place until the end of the race. Actually I hope that Takaaki Nakagami can compete until the finish. But that was only hope, at turn five on the first lap he fell. I know that starting from the front is Nakagami's first experience. It made him feel like he was under mental stress and it made him nervous.

Yes so sorry to say that's the first race i doesn't saw this year. But the trend continues at Suzuki, they are not only getting stronger in the race but now also in the championship. It remains tense, and a very strong race from Morbidelli. I'm sorry for Nakagami, but this is real racing in MotoGp, everyone is just doing their best.

Not a boring race in the beginning but unfortunately the waters calmed down during the ending phases of the race.Congrats to Lewis Hamilton for making history with his 92th win but the main event of the race I think was Kimmi Raikonnen going from P17 to P6 in the first lap.It was a brillant lap and anyone can opt to re watch it in Youtube and Instagram F1 page.

But it was just the beginning... From the time that Bottas passed Sainz (who was in the first place) then the race because a usual one as the previous races.
Portimao is a perfect track and an impressing one considering the overcomes and the corners that give the chance to drivers to pass other cars.
I hope we are going to see more tracks in the calendar like Portimao in the future.

I mean Schumi was just another level amongst the best of his time, his car wasn't much better than others,

Are you sure about it?

Ferrari from 2003 to 2007/2008 was dominating almost like the Mercedes of Today.
A bit less in later years since they were "robbed" with the spy story.

I do not understand why people have to make a big deal out of "who is better" talks but I am pretty sure people could make a valid point for every big time racer if they ever want to. I mean Schumi was just another level amongst the best of his time, his car wasn't much better than others, sure he raced with some decent cars but he would be at the top whatever car he drove and never had the obvious advantage as Mercedes has today for example, give him any car racing that they even the worst one and you could count on the fact that he would be top 5 with it, higher if he had a decent car.

Hamilton on the other hand may have the car advantage, but dude used that advantage so well that in a sport with milisecond mistakes that could cause as further as death, this dude has raced perfectly without any problems for so many years now, that is rare and incredibly and unseen as well. They are both just too good to separate.
