after the victory in the last grand prix the Norris hype hasn't stopped and now he has started to make quite strong statements to the press.

In fact, he declared that in 2025 he will fight for the world title.

Let's say that this could also be possible given Newey's departure from Redbull, but if he fails to fight with Redbull his words will be cited for a long time and as a fail.

We cannot deny that Red Bull's culture is quite tough and top management will not allow that there will be individuals who are above the team (Newey and Max) so this conflict of interest cannot be avoided when both parties cannot restrain themselves. This might be good news for fans of other teams, because we are quite bored with Red Bull's dominance in the last few seasons.
But even so, that doesn't make Red Bull a mediocre team, because they already have enough foundation to be able to still have the upper hand. And hoping that there will be a battle between Ferrari, McLaren and Williams, that doesn't seem to be happening (for now) because we understand how Williams is already on the edge and finding it difficult to recover, and even though McLaren's performance is quite good, it is not enough to break the dominance of Red Bull, not to mention other teams which might present tougher competition, so there's no need to get your hopes up that it will happen.
Foundation doesn't matter when you end up with new regulations in the end. Sure I am almost certain that Red Bull would be a great team next season as well because they are red bull and I do not see how they could end up getting any worse, but that is just one situation and one season, they will have the same type of car next season and unless someone improves and upgrades enough to be as good as them, then we are not going to get anything better than Red Bull.

However, with 2026 coming, we are going to end up seeing something much different, we are going to end up with a whole new set of cars and when that happens I am sure that Red Bull will regret not keeping Newey at the team because every team will basically have a reset and while Red Bull could spend a lot of money on it, and won't be terrible, they could have some rivals making some good cars.

According to this article, the factory team Ducati has to make an important decision for next year, who will ride alongside Bagnaia in the factory team, there are three riders to choose from.

Márquez, Martín and Bastianini are fighting for the position.

With the current performance, I'm actually more likely to favour Martin, but will Bagnaia also have a say?

https://www.sport1.de/news/motorsport/motogp/2024/05/ducati-vor-schlusselentscheidung-wer-wird-bagnaias-partner-in-der-motogp-saison
Apart from looking at the performance shown by Martin last season and also at the start of this season, I also agree that the Ducati factory wants to choose Martin as Bagnaia's partner for next season. Because Martin has also been with Ducati's satellite team, Pramac Racing, which in general is a team that is quite loyal to the Ducati engine brand. So there is fairness for Ducati if they want to choose Martin and place him in the seat currently occupied by Bastianini next season.

A big upgrade is on the way for Ferrari before the Imola Grand Prix.  Wink

The photo was taken during the testing of new upgrade. There are going to be so many changes in the car and you can see the details from the source: Motorsport

It is assumed that Ferrari will gain 0.4 seconds after this. It would be a huge gain especially for the qualifying. There might be a chance to see a Ferrari pole position but it is difficult to predict which one of the drivers it would be. This upgrade might also help us see a podium with 2 Ferrari cars who knows.  Smiley

New technical regulation for Moto GP from 2027 with an expected duration of five years.

I don't think the biggest change is that of cutting the engine displacement from the classic 1000cc to 850cc but that of the use of different fuels, so much can change in this case from how an engine uses fuel.

We also have new rules that limit the aerodynamics of motorcycles.

Several riders including Quartararo have already said that they don't expect many differences from the bikes with the power cut.

So what is happening,is Redbull in a complete break up as a team, are they going to go bankrupt or better they cannot go bankrupt as have a huge capital but they are going to become a mediocre team from 2026 if both heads of the team starts to leave one after another and honestly for me that would be great,it has been a really long time like we don't see battles between Ferrari,Mclaren and Williams in 1996-2000 and 2007-2008,some really really great memories from these Championships which look like didn't ever exist thanks to the seasons, the latest ones being so boring. That would be nice to have again a balanced F1 season like those times, emotions would be high again.

If Red Bull keeps losing their team like this one by one eventually, then they are not going to be the champions when 2026 new regulations come. I mean Max should remember his early years when he just watched all others win, specially Mercedes, and he won absolutely nothing during that period.

This is where they are heading right now, they are losing Newey already which is something that they will be impacted a ton already, they are not going to be that good at all, they are going to be hurt, but if they keep on losing more and more people, then eventually they will have a very shitty car. They are paying as much as they can for Max, but that is just one person and if he has a terrible car then he can't get the wins required for a title all by himself.

Honestly I wasn't expecting Red Bull to have this kind of problems for a long time. I thought they would also go smooth like Mercedes for longer years. But after the recent things going on Red Bull is really likely to struggle in the near future.

Losing a wonderful engineer like Newey would affect them negatively in the long run. It only depends on with whom they will fill his place. It should be a name that will keep Red Bull fighting for championships.

I'm curiously waiting for where Newey will go by the way. Is it going to be Ferrari? - hopefully it would.  Tongue  I'm just looking forward to witnessing the day Ferrari era starts.  Roll Eyes

We have a clear example of people having a shitty car and not winning from a couple of seasons now and the best example is Hamilton at Mercedes when he used to dominate with a winning car so the performance of the car can impact a lot even if the driver is world champion,we also have Alonso in the same situation so for me Max would be very much wise to join Mercedes or Audi in 2026,they have promised a lot for that year.

Earlier this week, MotoGP announced a technical regulatory framework that will be introduced in 2027, with a switch to 850cc engines. The aim of the new regulations is to improve safety and spectacle on the track through the elimination of ride-height devices and the reduction of aerodynamic rise. Will these efforts really make MotoGP more attractive in 2027 when Dorna no longer holds MotoGP?

Because during the Valentino Rossi era, the CC engine had been changed several times until it reached 1000cc at this time. Because before MotoGP implemented a 1000cc engine in 2012 until now, 800cc engines were also used in MotoGP from 2007 to 2011 and the competition on the track can be said to be interesting, but we are all a little curious about the 850cc engine that will be implemented in 2012. 2027 in MotoGP. Jonathan Wheatley is in the spotlight after Adrian Newy could be next to leave Redbull.

For those who don't know him, he is the sporting director of Redbull.
He is the one who became famous in 2021 for the case of the safety car in the last race that gave the world championship to Max Verstappen.
He should become the team principal of Alpine or Sauber.

As far as I understood it, his negotiation is still ongoing and he's not confirmed to leave Red Bull right? It seems like there have been tons of rumors surrounding Red Bull team contracts recently, but they managed to extend the contracts of their top technical staff anyway. Some news suggests Red Bull is not panicking at all, though you can say this is just lip service or PR talk[1]. CMIIW.

Lando Norris finally with a victory after so many years of racing and getting close so many times as well,

Agreed, finally!  Smiley  Luck factor was really in it as that safety car changed the course of the race for Norris.

It turns out that Verstappen had an underfloor damage as well after making a mistake at Turn 14. This caused him to lose quite much pace and created even an bigger chance for Norris to go for.

The moment: https://youtu.be/9wiQqcKUahc?si=w_5T4tlpz7OOeqcX&t=144

I'm really happy for Norris on his first win. It was a clean drive. McLaren are also much more competitive this season. I'm looking forward to watching them in Imola next time. But it looks like Ferrari will also bring big upgrades for that Grand Prix so things can get really interesting.  Smiley

Lando Norris finally with a victory after so many years of racing and getting close so many times as well, even Ricciardo who has been lapped by Norris in the same season, ended up getting a win with that car and Lando never did, which is a shocker to me that he never won even a single race, but that's finally over.

Even Max was super excited and happy about it, of course they are close friends and that is one of the biggest reasons but also Max knows that he is already the winner in the end, so he doesn't feel threat from anyone at all, plus it was some insane luck that Lando lapped the safety car, and was 30+ seconds ahead of everyone, so it was basically clear that we are talking about something that could happen once in a blue moon, but I am super happy for Lando without a doubt.

I wasn't expecting the Miami GP to turn into a really exciting one from a boring race.  Cheesy  McLaren really gambled with Norris' pit and didn't call him early. They were really lucky that a SC came out and it was a golden opportunity for Norris to benefit from. But it wouldn't be fair to say that Norris won thanks to only luck.

That performance was great. Overtaking on this track is really challenging. However Verstappen couldn't even make an attempt to overtake. Norris was that dominant while getting his 1st career win - finally.  Smiley

Norris and Verstappen have a really strong friendship. Verstappen was really happy for him on his win.

First win for Lando and deserved.

He was the fastest in the track but without the safety car he was probably unable to win, he gained 2 position only for the timing of the safety, when Carlos and Oscar went to pit 20 seconds before the accident.

Anyway, as I told yestarday Mclaren was able to win this week with the big upgrade.

Next race will be the time of big upgrade for Ferrari.

The race I decided not to watch turned out to be interesting.  Lmao.  Cheesy  But yeah, I will surely not miss Emilia Romagna.  If the books again line Verstappen at 1.05 or something, and disrespect Leclerc and Sainz ny lining them at 20 - 30 then I'll def bet on both.  Miami GP showed that it can be done...  That Red Bull could lose at any moment.  If so then why not in Italy too.

Can't wait to watch it!  Can't believe I'm rooting for Ferrari out of boredom for Red Bull.  Cheesy

I think the car that can beat Redbull is clearly McLaren, they showed it yesterday and although Piastri had only half of the upgrades that Norris got he managed to race brilliantly with the medium tires, the same for Lando,he kept getting to Sainz in a very fast time,in just a couple of laps, that shows that McLaren is doing great.I watched not only the race but also the post interviews in Skysports and Andrea Stella the team principal said that it is incredible work how many upgrades the team at Uoking has been bringing to make the car like it is right now,it is truly incredible work and this race win was well deserved,so based on that I think we are going to watch a beautiful race in Imola too. That 1.05 if is again needs to be betting 1 dollar for top 10 drivers to be a winner.
