@emrecemsan I don’t think that Red Bull will do anything to upset Max because he’s their wild card who’s going to win them many trophies hence I doubt they’ll move for Alonso now. Furthermore the only reason I can see Alonso coming to Red Bull would be if the team management want to rub his experience on Max as Alonso could definitely help Max further unlock his game.

Honestly I have really missed the days in which Verstappen was competing hard against a driver for the title. I'm actually meaning the 2021 season.  Grin  It was really lovely to watch that incredible competition between Hamilton and Verstappen. The champion was decided in the last lap of the season. But now we are back to another domination period just as the ones Hamilton had in the past. In fact Verstappen's domination level is even higher than Hamilton's currently.

As a result I would really like to see a driver like Alonso beside him. We can at least see some competition between the drivers of the same team for the title.  Smiley  But of course neither Red Bull nor Verstappen would like this idea.

In his formative years, Alonso was skilled in knocking out opponents and winning races, despite the fact that they were all classified in the past. Despite being 42 years old, he never gives up and always aspires for the most exquisite racing results, which he also works rigorously for. Fernando Alonso possesses racing experience and understands the risks involved. He has won several important trophies in motorsport racing, and he is an important designation in the system, and most of his opponents fear him because they believe he is a serious threat.

He is still a big threat to every driver on the grid indeed. I can't imagine Alonso taking Perez's seat at Red Bull for example. There would be chaos between him and Verstappen without doubt.  Cheesy

If Lawrence Stroll didn't have his son at Aston Martin as one of the drivers then Alonso would have surely been the main driver. Even Lawrence Stroll must be really uncomfortable with Stroll's overall performance. I know that he did well in the previous race but he just can't keep up with Alonso at all. Alonso is a very competitive driver and he deserves to be the main driver at any team he goes to.

Of the remaining 3 main races and also 3 sprint races, of course this is very interesting for us to see from each racer, Marco Bezzecchi also still has a chance to fight for the crown but he was the last to get a podium at the Indian MotoGP, will we be able to see Marco Bezzecchi's performance fighting for the podium? at the Sepang Petronas International Circuit and if you can get a podium this time it will certainly be even more interesting in the hunt for the MotoGP crown.

i think bezzecchi has a slim chance of becoming world champion considering that his points are only 310, compared to martin's 376 and bagnaia's 389. what people are counting on now is only martin who can change things and make him first place considering that the point difference is only 13 points .
I think so too because the only chance that is very close at the moment is that Bagnaia and Martin will continue to fight for the title this year. Meanwhile, Marco Bezzecchi will only try to finish at the front as much as he can because apart from his insufficient number of points, Marco Bezzecchi uses an older motorbike than Bagnaia and Martin so his chances of winning this year are slim. This week will probably be quite an interesting race because the races at Sepang are often very fierce.

Quote
each rider has their own strategy and it is quite difficult to predict who will win, whether martin or bagnaia, both have the same chance of winning the world title.

but my feeling is that the one who will win the moto gp session this year is bagnaia, even though he is quite burdened at the moment, he is still confident and not aggressive. and that might be what will make him world champion.
I will not make any feelings about this other than just the facts that have been seen in all the races that have passed. On paper, Martin always looks stronger if he doesn't make any mistakes, but Martin forgets to use strategy when he is in front of the other riders so he is often approached by other riders when the race starts to have a few more laps left. However, in this week's race, maybe Martin will use the same method with a slightly different strategy so that his opponents cannot approach him until the end of the race.

The overtake rivalry between Alonso and Perez was awesome! Alonso showed his experience in a really great way by fighting back against Perez strongly and defending his position "like a lion".  Grin

Being 42 years old isn't a negative side for Alonso at all. He is still racing like in his younger times. This is what makes him one of the most special drivers in F1 history. When it comes to Perez's future at Red Bull it is difficult to predict for now. Maybe Red Bull might decide to give him another year there. Because Verstappen's performance has been enough to make Red Bull the champions single-handedly.

I mean even if Perez had zero points now Verstappen was still going to bring the title to his team.  Smiley

This week the MotoGP race will take place at the Sepang Petronas International Circuit, which will take place consecutively in three weeks without a break for the remaining three series this season and Bagnaia and Martin will try to appear aggressive because there are only 111 points still up for grabs. by all riders in the three series including the two of them too. This will certainly be very interesting because there will no longer be breaks every week for the remaining three series.

^  Didn't watch the race but I saw the highlights...  And yeah, I guess Perez trying to redeem himself and trying to show  that he deserves another contract with Red Bull.  But is it too late?  I think yup...  Kinda too late.  Marko and Horner prolly has decided mid way thru the season.

Just a couple of so so races to go.  Hopefully one of Mercedes, Ferrari or any of the other teams come up with something and make it close next season.  :/
I do not know if he went out or not, but I know that he is definitely watching the big screens, he has talked about it before, when you are that much ahead of everyone else and still doing the same pace and making the difference bigger, you do end up watching the screens a lot more.

There aren't that much to do during the race, I mean if you are racing to beat someone then you focus on the race and that does help you not get bored, but when you are so much ahead of everyone else, there isn't really anything that you could do that could make you have fun, you are going to get bored from watching the same track and just go round and round, you need to get a lot better. Eventually that does make you get better and you can do the fastest lap if you do that, but you could also get bored of that.

It was a messy start to the race as Leclerc had to be disqualified from the race before it even started. It was unlucky for him to be disqualified even though his performance in the Sprint race yesterday was quite good. And once again Max won the race easily without any significant resistance from Norris. But the battle between Fernando and Perez was an interesting show at the end of the race. The block pass from Alonso and how frustrating it was for Perez to take his place again was very entertaining.
Alonso - Perez battle will be one of the rare unforgettable moments of the 2023 season. Alonso was outstanding. Perez said he was not dead yet. These two made the race watchable. In general, verstappen and norris competed at a different level. Stroll reassured. Mercedes was slow. Alpine was in their usual place. Tsunoda took 2 critical points. Ferrari did not surprise. Ferrari should withdraw for another 5 years so that it can only recover. With this mindset, they cannot be champions for another 16 years, not 32 years. The issue is not Max, but f1 continues its life as a tyre struggle. Drivers fight for tyres rather than good or bad vehicles. If the car does not eat tyres, which varies from track to track for each vehicle, you are definitely in the top three, otherwise the rest is a story.

It was mostly a boring race but indeed that was hell of a competition between Perez and Alonso in the last laps of the race.  Smiley  Alonso defended him for a really long time but after Perez overtook him I thought that was it. However Alonso's retaliation was really amazing after that. He had a really hard time maintaining his place at the end of the race.

Because the drivers got past the finish line side by side. Alonso finished only 0.05 ahead of Perez. That was a really hard-fought podium.

what a race from Alonso.

He deserve the driver of the race, and at the same time Perez deserves to be sacked.

The 2020 season was also dominated, but it was a race year  to watch even for the competition in the middle of the pack. This season has its own boredom. The sprint needs to be abolished immediately, it's a completely unnecessary extra points system and doesn't contribute in the slightest. If they say that there will be a reverse grid in the sprint race and the driver who will start the race first will start from the end. Then the passes would make sense. What makes sense to me is to give points to everyone. The ranking between 10-20 doesn't matter and at least the points would be a bit more attractive. I think the number of teams is not so important and what is important is the competition. You need a certain level of competition.

Dunno I liked a lot more the F1 of 2021 before the changes of the car.

FIA ruined everything imho, races are boring more than ever, this is the 1st year in my life that I'm not hyped about F1 at all.

As I told you sprint race here was fun, one of the best tracks for it.

I'm annoyed by this f1 when drivers can't push due tyres managment.

The sprint race prepares us to see a really nice race tomorrow based on the starting grid of the qualifying of yesterday.I only hope that no bullshit of enter before this lap in pit stop is mandatory is in this track as it would be catastrophic in the loss of spectacle if we have it here. The sprint kept us all "breathless" in the final stages where Ricciardo and Piastri hold back real good against their opponents.Norris did also a great race and during 24 laps the gap was only 3.5 seconds to the leader which in the race of tomorrow with a good strategy it can be overcome.

Aston Martin had another series of problems but this time with Alonso who couldn't even run 1 lap on Q2...and it seems the last update they had in Texas really made the car worse than before.

It was not his fault, it was because of a crash with the idiot of Esteban Ocon, he made a msitake and crash into the wheel of Fernando Alonso , and after all he have the guts to say it was Fernando fault, what a `piece of shit is that childist man, he always have troubles with everyone, like with Perez on racing point Gasly, fernando etc.
I really want Ocon out of F1 is a bad person with horrible behavior with teammates and worst with other drivers.
