It was a messy start to the race as Leclerc had to be disqualified from the race before it even started. It was unlucky for him to be disqualified even though his performance in the Sprint race yesterday was quite good. And once again Max won the race easily without any significant resistance from Norris. But the battle between Fernando and Perez was an interesting show at the end of the race. The block pass from Alonso and how frustrating it was for Perez to take his place again was very entertaining.

It was mostly a boring race but indeed that was hell of a competition between Perez and Alonso in the last laps of the race.  Smiley  Alonso defended him for a really long time but after Perez overtook him I thought that was it. However Alonso's retaliation was really amazing after that. He had a really hard time maintaining his place at the end of the race.

Because the drivers got past the finish line side by side. Alonso finished only 0.05 ahead of Perez. That was a really hard-fought podium.

what a race from Alonso.

He deserve the driver of the race, and at the same time Perez deserves to be sacked.

The 2020 season was also dominated, but it was a race year  to watch even for the competition in the middle of the pack. This season has its own boredom. The sprint needs to be abolished immediately, it's a completely unnecessary extra points system and doesn't contribute in the slightest. If they say that there will be a reverse grid in the sprint race and the driver who will start the race first will start from the end. Then the passes would make sense. What makes sense to me is to give points to everyone. The ranking between 10-20 doesn't matter and at least the points would be a bit more attractive. I think the number of teams is not so important and what is important is the competition. You need a certain level of competition.

Dunno I liked a lot more the F1 of 2021 before the changes of the car.

FIA ruined everything imho, races are boring more than ever, this is the 1st year in my life that I'm not hyped about F1 at all.

As I told you sprint race here was fun, one of the best tracks for it.

I'm annoyed by this f1 when drivers can't push due tyres managment.

The sprint race prepares us to see a really nice race tomorrow based on the starting grid of the qualifying of yesterday.I only hope that no bullshit of enter before this lap in pit stop is mandatory is in this track as it would be catastrophic in the loss of spectacle if we have it here. The sprint kept us all "breathless" in the final stages where Ricciardo and Piastri hold back real good against their opponents.Norris did also a great race and during 24 laps the gap was only 3.5 seconds to the leader which in the race of tomorrow with a good strategy it can be overcome.

Aston Martin had another series of problems but this time with Alonso who couldn't even run 1 lap on Q2...and it seems the last update they had in Texas really made the car worse than before.

It was not his fault, it was because of a crash with the idiot of Esteban Ocon, he made a msitake and crash into the wheel of Fernando Alonso , and after all he have the guts to say it was Fernando fault, what a `piece of shit is that childist man, he always have troubles with everyone, like with Perez on racing point Gasly, fernando etc.
I really want Ocon out of F1 is a bad person with horrible behavior with teammates and worst with other drivers.

Q2 of Sprint Shootout is about to end and out of nowhere Norris took 1st place , followed by Perez and then Max.

Now , we wait for Q3 and I think Norris has a real chance to take Sprint Shootout pole and then maybe even win the Sprint Race later on today.

It was quite crazy how the initially sunny weather turned into dark clouds in just a few minutes. Piastri even almost hit the barrier because he lost grip on his tires. Yeah at least every driver has completed their lap before the race is called.
And it's quite interesting to see Stroll and Alonso in P3 and P4 and Hamilton and Russell in P5 and P6, it looks like it's going to be an interesting battle. And again, Max is in P1 and you can guess who will win the race this time.

Strange qualifying session now in Brazil.Leclerc said it best,I have never experienced something like this race in my entire career he said,it looked like it was raining but in fact there was no rain at all referring to the track being extremely slid and Verstappen was once again able to grab a Pole Position although he did not made the fastest lap in this last Q3 session.

In Q2 Lando Norris did 1.10.0 while Verstappen won the Pole with a 1.10.727 and he said it himself that it would be very tight and the cars are very close in this track.I think the surprise are Aston Martin with Lance Stroll in P3 and Alonso in P4 after many races screwing up looks like they have fixed a couple of things.

Another race week, this time at Brazil. Looks like it's going to be a pretty tough week, there are some warnings regarding weather situation as well. Telemetry system is one of the most important on weeks like this. Lets see how ferrari and Mercedes will do and if Mclaren can bounce back again. Max is the winner as always even before the week starts I can say that, unless there is like some crash or something.

However, the fun part is that Mclaren is trying to get that third place but Mercedes is not letting them, and the second place is a big fight between ferrari and Mercedes, Mercedes has done very well lately and got the second place, and Mclaren is less than 100 points away from ferrari for third place and very very few races left. I think this is how the first five will finish, but it's fun to see it.

Life, Love and Laughter...
^  I think Perez's future with Red Bull is already written.  Whatever happens in the last couple or so races, he won't get a new contract after 2024.  He'll have one more season and that's it.

The question now is who'll replace him?  I think everything will depend on how Ricciardo performs next season as he'll be the first choice...  Tsunoda would prolly be considered but then again maybe he'll be leaving Alpha Tauri altogether because we know he was just part of the Honda deal.

Other decent choices are Gasly and Albon but they've already driven at RBR with poor results...  Maybe Alonso?

Edit:  Alonso too old.  Lol.

Perez has 2 more races to keep his spot.

He got a deadline of 3 races, the 1st it's gone with the bad result in Mexico.

Helmut Marko to replace Sergio Perez next season!  Grin  It looks like this has been the big news Red Bull have been waiting to announce for a while.  Tongue

Joking aside, I don't see a good future for Perez at Red Bull from now on. Yeah maybe Red Bull have still managed to become the constructors champions. However I don't think they are satisfied with Perez's performance at all for a long time. There must be a significant concentration problem for him otherwise he isn't making simple mistakes like this. We must all be remembering how great he was in the 2021 season. His help for Verstappen in the last race of that season was enormous as well.

martin managed to win the race and get 37 points, which means that the difference between him and bagnaia is only 13 points, which is quite small. from this victory we can see how martin's strategy is starting to work and that it could be a direct threat to bagnaia.
Because the threat has returned to Bagnaia, in the next series at Sepang Malaysia there will be quite a fierce race because remember that both riders must both be able to win. Even though Jorge Martin's desire to win is to overtake Bagnaia early before the start of the Qatar series, Bagnaia will try to win to maintain himself at the top of the standings.

Quote
the next race at the sepang circuit will probably be more exciting than this thai race because the difference between martin and bagnaia is only 13 points, which must be utilized carefully by these two racers and one fatal mistake will have a bad impact on their position.
I just hope that the weather in Sepang can be good enough so that everyone can see the fierce racing there because the Sepang circuit is a circuit that is really liked by MotoGP riders and is also a good circuit on the MotoGP calendar. So I just hope that the conditions are not rainy or wet so that the race can be really exciting for everyone to watch.

WE are gonna start to talk about how bad is Yuki Tsunoda? I is only in F1 because of being Japanese and a paid driver for Honda, you can see Lawson and Ricciardo with a car who doesnt  have so much time make way better results than him who is in his second season with the team/car.

Tsunoda could have finished this race in a really good position actually. But instead he made a simple individual mistake which ruined all of his plans. AlphaTauri could have had a fantastic weekend with the help of him as well. Still they had a solid week though thanks to Ricciardo's great drive.

When it comes to Tsunoda's future in this team I think he might not have a bright future here if he doesn't make improvement. If you remember he was really good and consistent at the beginning of the season. Bu it lasted for like 5 races. After that his performance started to drop quite much. To tell the truth his result in the United States GP might have increased his credit but I don't know how much.  Sad  I would like to see Lawson finding a permanent seat here in the future.
