Good news everyone, MtGox doubled their SEPA limit! This might mean that the withdrawal queue is reduced.

Neat! Although the volumes are still scary even with the doubled limit. Might take a lot more jumping through hoops from MtGox to actually be able to clear their SEPA queue.

Amazed by how people still tries to cash out using MtGox.

I didn't see any report of somebody successfully cashing out a significant amount of USD in months.

I just received my 5%-fee wire that was requested 4 weeks ago.

USD? Was it more than $10k?

Hi Sturle, thanks for your reply. This is the first time something like this happens to me, I never had problems with MtGox before.
I understand there is nothing I can do, except checking now and then http://skanner.net/MtGox/mtgox_tx.php

When the present transaction will be canceled, it will disappear from http://skanner.net/MtGox/mtgox_tx.php I assume, is that correct?
The new transaction will also broadcast to the blockchain with a different tx number I assume. But what if that still doesn't go right? Then in that case I can't follow it anymore, can I?

Such a bad timing! Also, I don't get why the http://skanner.net/MtGox/mtgox_tx.php reports an amount of more than 12 BTC, my withdrawal was only about 1.2 BTC... I guess I'm a real noob when it comes to transactions gone wrong!

My withdrawal has been stuck for almost 33 hours now!!
http://skanner.net/MtGox/mtgox_tx.php?searchme=8c94a0166007d882b8d64504a823cffd7763d9a505cb0066ce9e73925693027c&Submit=Search

Is there absolutely anything one can do besides waiting?!
No answer from support yet either... Actually they haven't even assigned my ticket a support operator yet... Sad
There is nothing you can do.  Input already spent means they have given up this attempt and are trying to cancel it by issuing a new transaction using one of the same inputs with a higher fee.  MtGox will issue a new transaction for you when the cancelling transaction goes through.  Sometimes the cancelling transaction is troublesome as well, and that's when the waiting starts getting long..

I think MtGox is the worst thing to happen to cryptos in general.
I have lost about 40 000$ while not being able to withdraw my BTC to invest in LTC. I will NEVER EVER use mtgox again and will tell everyone this. The level of incompetence is beyond belief. They actually process bitcoin withdrawals as long as SEPA transfers.

700 EUR SEPA withdrawal initiated 24 October changed status to pending today.

The FAQ-page on how long the delays are seems to be accurate (at least for sepa).

Occam's would say that they are running out of cash, which doesn't mean they are scammers - but is a call for problems.

How come? Where does all of the shitload of fiat go that people send them daily? They might owe more than they have, but I can't think of a realistic scenario where this would be the reason why they have trouble sending wires.

Puzzling indeed, the bankrupt scenario hold less and less, as they are surely receiving millions of dollars with this new boom, but yet not a single wire is sent. They can receive USD but 'cannot' send USD through SWIFT system.

Maybe:
1) SWIFT  ( conglomerate of banks ) blacklisted them from sending wires only.
2) they are under some kind of legal restrictions from sending wires.

I have withdrawn from MtGox 1.2BTC 22,5 hours ago and the transaction still hasn't been broadcasted to the blockchain... Has anybody else been having the same problem?
Can you find your transaction here?

I can find my transaction there.

39 hours, still waiting.

Also do we have proof of a Japanese bank transfer taking place quickly? Rather than just some guy saying that it probably is happening because he heard it from somewhere.
Because people tend to report when there are problems, not when everything is running smoothly.  There were reports a month or so back of Japanese domestic withdrawal delays of up to 4 days due to the 100 million JPY (~1 million USD) daily limit.  The pressure has decreased now, and domestic withdrawals are almost always next day.  Anyone with a Japanese bank account can confirm it, but they are probably not reading this thread.

Don't bother.  Rampion is vaccinated against facts and logic.  Completely immune.   He doesn't even read this thread (or does it very selectively), just post here from time to time.

Still nothing from my June and July withdrawal. I think I'm about to suck it up, take my cash, and buy in at $800 at essentially 1/8 my original Bitcoins sold. Lesson learned, never use Gox again.
Check again, $960 on Gox now.
They have inadvertently crucified their customers who accepted the TwoWeeksTM mantra.
This is just silly.  If you wanted BTC, you should have bought BTC, not withdrawn USD.  When you sell your BTC, you don't get any advantage of a price increase.  As simple as that.  Don't blame MtGox for your own mistake.  USD is going down the drain.  This fact has been known for a long time.  Stay away from USD and buy BTC instead.
