Not sure you know how elections works! This is not how APC were able to take power from PDP, they merged 3 parties into one famous one from the North (CPC), the structure was so strong that we started having PDP governors defecting to APC before the general election and that was how APC were able to defeat PDP, the case of LP is different, No Governor, No senators, No reps so how do you get votes? If this just concluded Osun State election no teach LP what is yet to come then they must be joking.
I perfectly know how elections work, and i also know of the little history you are talking about to help your points, but should i reiterate, they still hold no water, not even a drop. In a representative government it is the people who choose their leaders through elections, and not governors or rather incumbent officials, you get votes from the people (electorates), if you can convince the people to vote for you, then what do you need governors and the rest of them for. Nigeria is more of a frustrated nation already, one that is yearning for change, 2023 isn't about a particular party, it is about the individuals contesting in a particular party.
Every state will be between PDP and APC, In Nigeria popularity don't win you an election, we saw how several celebrities fails to win as little as Reps positions in the last election. Peter Obi is a better choice but went to the weakest party in Nigeria. SDP and APGA has more structure than LP. He made the wrong choice of party. I'm just pointing out facts.
Aren't Atiku and Tinubu supporters tired of this boring lectures on elections, it suddenly seems like you all are political scientists, please give us a break with the "structure", "elections are not won online", and other bullshits you guys have inundated us with for months on end, the only fact i know of is that Peter Obi is obviously a popular candidate amongst the people, and you are wrong, popularity/awareness sensitization wins elections, and Obi is a strong candidate for 2023. How can you even compare Obi contesting an election with celebrities that have previously failed to win a contested position; you guys forget Peter Obi is a former governor, one with an impeccable track record of success, he is not just popular for nothing, he is popular for his success as an erstwhile governor.
P.S. maybe if everyone focused on giving us reasons why we should vote for their preferred candidate, rather than constantly attack Obi, then it will make sense, but No! Every supporter of Atiku and Tinubu are now so ingenious on elections that they know Obi can't win.
