If you no know the vendor, better say make you use escrow, or if the person sabi multisig wallet, 2-of-2 multisig setup no bad. If the vendor no release money, you too no go sign the transaction, the vendor no go get anything. But know say if na 2-of-2, you too no longer get access to the coin again. But vendor fit wicked up to that extent? I no think so because e no go get the coin as well.
As for me, I go like either decentralized exchange or direct p2p (vendor) wey dey trusted, we get two for forum. Any vendor wey I no know, wey I no know him family, I no fit trust ham pass people wey dey do ham on this forum.
