KYC is the only way to track scammers and fraudster from the the site, you must always expect to do KYC on a centralized platforms
What I meant is that KYC is mandatory but people should not think scammers can not take advantage of fake KYCs to dey scam victims. So we should dey very careful and never rely on CBDCs thinking government can be able to trace all transactions especially if centralized exchanges are supporting it already.

Beware of new malware that can steal bitcoin and banking details

There has been a malware (flubot) that is attacking Australia citizens since August which they were warned of by not clicking on links on a text message which not authorized for which the hackers dey use after victims click on the link wey dey the text message, I no know if the malware have been existing before August but it is actually real and can lead to money loss from victims bank accounts. Anything that can steal information on someone device dey possible to have means to steal bitcoin, other crypto assets and login details and many more on someone's device.

About the malware was taken to this forum few weeks back, but dey surprise me why Nigeria communications commission (NCC) take ham to media yesterday , I dey think maybe the malware don dey affect Nigerians, so I am using this forum as an opportunity to let other Nigerians to know. Tell your people not to click on any link on message sent them if not authorized for.

Phishing
This is a an attack, phishing can fit be through email, call, test message etc. So, make we dey very careful of the links we dey click on. I for one no fit click on this type of link because I do not click on emails and messages I do not authorize for, but others can be victims, so make we tell them all not to click on such links.
I think the malware don dey exist before July infact, I been don see some foreign (out of Nigeria) complains about am, although I been think say na just one lack of sensitive from the victim but if one of Nigeria authority don put mouth for am den e be like e dey serious or e don affect a or few nigerian citizens.
I no some newbies from Nigeria go dey fear now, I go talk sey make you chill all you go do be say you go dey careful for wetin you dey click on, or accept for online wey you dey.

e Naira set to be lunched October 25.
This e Naira matter for this country still they move, I just see for one of my crypto news channels say the e Naira will be lunched on Monday 25th October 2021.

I don't know why you guys ate still expecting much from this e-naira, this is just like your bank app where you receive and send money electronically without going to the bank. Tbh I don't see anything unique about the E-naira. The matter say been don comot fro my mind since they are unserious in this country so nothing dey move my body again.

Also, eNaira transaction will be transparent and kyc is mandatory, but people can have fake kyc. This is what I do not like about kyc, data can be breached, but yet few bad actors dey use ham still for criminal activities because there can be fake kyc.

4. Make una avoid to dey click unnecessary link.
You need antivirus
Also very important to dey update the anti-malware because anti-malware that was not updated might not detect newly released malware. But people that dey conscious of malware and avoiding it can even no worry about anti-malware so far they are visiting the legit site and clicking only on authorized links.

This e Naira matter for this country still they move, I just see for one of my crypto news channels say the e Naira will be lunched on Monday 25th October 2021.
No trust what Nigerian governmental bodies dey talk, no dey believe until it don actually happen. Also, any link dey to prove this?

According to the central bank of Nigeria, them talk say e Naira will help us in solving our financial problems in the country, and will move our economy into new step of financial improvement.
E go provide employment or what? Or how e go help solve citizen's financial problem? ENaira na still naira, no always believe what people say.

What your thoughts about this e Naira, is it that our country self is moving forward towards great development, or they will use the e Naira to find a way to loots money again?
Looting is very possible if you mean the CBN officials to take advantage of the project.

Also, eNaira transaction will be transparent and kyc is mandatory, but people can have fake kyc. This is what I do not like about kyc, data can be breached, but yet few bad actors dey use ham still for criminal activities because there can be fake kyc.

There will also be ways bad actors go make use of eNaira successfully by using fake identities.

According to CBN, them talk say the e Naira go carry its own wallet wey get good speed on operating, and also said that e Naira will be like normal Naira as we will access them.

1. Wahala for those who keep their sensitive documents in their phones especially the BVN number and if you're using bank apps please your login passwords is not enough, for more good security please activate your Bio- metric and 2FA.

2. If you've stored any of your credit card details online please you may want to clear your browser cookies, if your phone is under phishing attack your cookies data is the first thing the attacker looks out for.

3. If your OTP is connected to your emails address you may want to change it too because if the attacker vet your bank details they will not stress trying to divert your phone number messages, den go just hack your mail and get the OTP from there.

4. Make una avoid to dey click unnecessary link.
