At the beginning of 2019, the price of coins is still very low and price increases only occur slowly. I personally also hope this year's market prices will pump. If that happens, it will have an impact on ICO coins, price increases. So that more prizes will have good results.
This is the time to invest in more potential coin. Though it is low now it does not mean that it going to lose value but a beginning to increase again. Price do not show any movement of increase now bit for sure there is a good future on keeping good coins. After the dump there will be a pump which we wait for. 
Lot of people is waiting for the next bull run even though we are not sure if it will happen again or we will just experience more longer bearish market but I will keep holding because I believe that future is bright in crypto.
We have just started in another year and we cannot yet conclude on whether it is bringing in a new firm to the crypyo space or not.

As you say after the dip there will come a pump when you least expecting, but that will not necessarily happen

Am sorry but the dumped followed us to 2019 and it still keeps dumping but every disappointment is a blessing because this is definitely a new beginning for new investors to buy cheap in this bearish market and make good profits in the coming months , and has the future is bright of investors i think most bounty hunters have been working for free over the past 6 months and we all praying this market change its course

crypto is a new technology just about 10 or 11 years old so in my opinion its still young . the dip has offered alot of people opportunity to hold some valuable coins/tokens at a very low rate. these set of people are bound to make some profits whenever the prices of crypto goes high again which is very possible in the nearest future.
