I've been logged in for 4 hours and 8 minutes, and have > 5 posts; yet I still can't post outside this board?
Stick to the rules 
First post here...I've used other sites to exchange but I'm looking for something a bit more consistent.
It's only 4 hours / 5 posts. Nothing you have to post can really be that important

I have to say this restriction is quite frustrating. I'm trying to create a webpage providing a bitcoin service (admittedly a lighthearted one) and I'd like some advice...except I can't ask anyone anything in the real forums. I'm sure it can't be helping bitcoin uptake if you have to jump through so many hoops just to be able to say hello. Surely there must be another way to cut spam?

I agree, pain to have a minimum post amount. I have lots of questions for other areas!
You might not be a kid, but who knows how many stupid "kid" spammers are out there. We have to pay our dues to graduate
