So I bought an altcoin called batcoin from a cryptocurrency exchange website. I even withdrew all my coins to an offline wallet, because I don't exactly trust exchange websites. However, the exchange it was listed is now gone, due to a hack.

So now I am stuck with coins that have no value.  Undecided

What do you think I should do now?

Theers nothing you can do but to hold those shit tokens into your bag and just hope for that coin to be listed again on some exchange and sell it off immediately if you do have the chance.
This is a common mistake where people do buy tons of coins in an unknown or not so popular exchange and i dont know on what are their criterias on considering it out rather than
focusing or directly prefer bitcoin into their investment options. For alts then its still questionable and high likely for you to fail.It would be more better and much more wiser if you do rather
select top alts on buying rather than  buying unknown coins into an unknown exchange. lol

So you had a very good intuition , great!

You can not do much, you can go to an decentralised exchnage and try to sell them or if you trust in the token, wait for  new listing, thats it. Nothing else can be done, good luck.

You can wait if ever there will be another exchange for that coin but if really nothing then You can do nothing with your coins but make decorations in your wallet. Even me have huge amount of coins stored in my wallet with out any value and not even list on exchange.

Majority of bounty hunters here has huge amount of shitcoins in their wallets if you are participating in bounty campaigns, you are likely to have more and you will be annoyed and irritated, your wish is that you can always liquidate your coins anytime you want, but it's hard to achieve that because there is no perfect bounty hunters.

I want to add that not only from bounty campaigns often get shitcoins, but also from numerous airdrops. Especially, beginners are prone to participate in them in the hope of earning easy and quick money.

It was definitely a bad investment for you. Everything was so obvious, if it was a great project they had to prepare investors to trade in lots of different exchanges, meaning they would take you at risk. But for batcoin, on the other hand, it is seen as a dead project when they are no longer responsible for the investors. That was also one of the hallmarks of project scam. this time you have lost everything, hopefully next time you will be lucky to choose real projects. Better yet, you should work in a group, experienced people will know how to choose good projects for the whole team to invest in.

Perhaps one of the hopes lies in the project team. Do they want to continue with the project. Because if the exchange is hacked, of course all the coins on the exchange will be lost. To be sure they will be eyeing Bitcoin, and several other coins that have good value.
But if the coin wallet is hacked, of course the team will think long enough to continue the project.

many up to now new coins or tokens have no interest in the market so the volume on the market is low it usually happens because of the lack of updates made by the owner so that at the time of sale it got little interest and the end of the coin or token will be ashes for the future

There isn't much you can do, it's really sad holding it, infact it's now a shit coin, the only thing you can do is leave it in your wallet and hope someday the developers of the project would think of listing in another exchange else it's gone. This is why most people trade only in few secured exchanges.
many exchanges become a scam, and this makes traders afraid to trade on new exchanges and which only have a small volume, indeed if the token or coin is not listed on the exchange it is very clear the token will not have a price, because there is no demand

This is a perfect example of a shitcoin just like many others out they, the team aren't experts and they aren't ready to list their tokens on better exchanges, how can a token stays listed on a single exchange? Do not waste your time on this project, instead look for other better options

You are right, there is no exchange token, there is no value, I have experienced the project stop, but if the token is listed on the Exchange and there are still many holders, the token is still being traded. Just forget about your batcoin and try to buy new coins with new funds.

Sorry to say that you invested in an abandoned project. At first, batcoin had a good marketing presence, but I think the development team left their project as there is no more activity in their community. Wether your coins was in the exchange or not, you still would have a coin with no value not because of the exchange but because of the bad project. time to move on.

I've spend many hours on new projects gathering tokens for future sake through Airdrops but in the end I was trapped with useless tokens, right now I've changed my strategy, I don't hunt for non trading crypto currency, either through Airdrops or bounties

Based on what I found in Batcoin, these coins was already dead for me due to it's obviously forsaken by the developer and their team as well.
Don't you notice those things? Therefore, even they have an active exchange site platform you can't able to earn well in it too, get it? And beside the success of our trading is in the hand of our choice dude.

From what you experience about coins that have no selling value or exchange for these coins, maybe it's not just you who experienced this, even I and some people in this forum might have experienced the same thing with you, so only one what we can hope for is that the coin can be revived in the global market, although it is very difficult to see the price of all markets in the global market at this time, it tends not to match the price when we bought the coin, this is what makes everyone hold on to wait for the moment when Alt prices are recovering, but there is no chance the token you hoped will come back to life ..

That is an unfortunate turn of events since everybody campaigning for certain cryptocurrencies wants a high paying salary at the end. The only thing we can do about moments like this is to accept the fact that not every campaign have fortunate endings. Though we always have the chance to join multiple campaigns through social medias. Buying and selling different kinds of Alternate Cryptocurrencies can also have its own benefits.

Unfortunate event, indeed. A coin with value is useless, and having it won't have any benefit.
If this happened, I don't also know what to do but to wait and see if the coin will be revived.
The only things that can be gained here are lessons and experience.

I am sorry for what happened to you mate, the situation now you have non valueable coin on your pocket because it is not listed anywhere yet, it is really terrible situation.
If BAT is an ERC20 token maybe you can sell it at forkdelta, but usually the price was not good anymore, its up to you to decide to hold it or sell it and exit even you loose your money.
When a token looses all of its value then the only option is to accept your losses and move on, there isn't any point in chasing back those bull runs that you want to achieve with that token as it may never happen in the future or worse the token getting delisted from every exchange. I have seen a lot of people who doesn't want to accept the losses and try to chase the losses and in the process they end up loosing all the money that they invested in that token, from which they could easily have taken out their 10 to 20 percent of the initial investment.
