No exhcange? No party Cheesy, of course if you have several coins or tokens that cannot be sold or traded in the market then it is the same as junk coins but don't cry buddy, if your token is based ETH platform then you can still sell it on Etherdelta or Forkdhelta if these two exchanges still aren't dead Grin. after this be careful before investing.

I don't know what is your reason for buying coins/tokens and really trusting them. I think you are not doing enough research before choosing to invest. I have never heard of the project you are talking about. Maybe you lack information so that you make the wrong choice. There is nothing you can do besides hodl and give up your money not to return unless the project really has a good plans in the future.

it has become a natural law, exchanges are home to coins or tokens of a project, specifically for coins must have exchanges, but for ERC 20 tokens we can use decentralized exchanges like Forkdelta
It has not become because it is there from the beginning Grin. I mean without exchanges we cannot decide the prices for an asset regardless of its total supply/circulating supply/usage in day-to-day life. So, to find out the real value of coin, we must need a platform where buyers and sellers will decide based on demand and supply. Here supply may not get impacted by the project's main reason but demand is purely depending on what solution that project is going to provide.

So, exchanges are just an integral part of this crypto space from the beginning.
Exchange is important because it is the bridge for us to buy and sell cryptocurrency, if the exchange doesn't have enough volume; then it only means that there is only few people that interested to it. It is not new anymore to see a certain altcoin that is losing its value because it is always happening in different exchange. If we will buy a altcoin make sure that it has a good average volume and it is also good if it is listed in an exchange that is reliable and trusted.

For ERC-20 tokens idex exchange is the best. Idex exchange doesn't support fake volume below 0.15 Ethereum. But

As it stands, the coin the OP is holding, be it ERC20 or whatever blockchain it is, it is not currently trading. Also, you can not trade any coin without the knowledge of the team of IDEX, unlike some other decentralized exchanges, where you can just go to put up your price and expect a buyer to come at any given time, such as Folkdelta. Well I think he should just keep his fingers crossed and wait for what the team will be bringing

Actually, I don't know why someone is picking this coin to invest like batcoin. Later these people will blame cryptocurrency. I don't think in the future this coin can make a bullrun.

So I bought an altcoin called batcoin from a cryptocurrency exchange website. I even withdrew all my coins to an offline wallet, because I don't exactly trust exchange websites. However, the exchange it was listed is now gone, due to a hack.

So now I am stuck with coins that have no value.  Undecided

What do you think I should do now?

Batcoin seems to be a long gone project because the team has ghost up with no any update to either their social media handles or project development. It is always important to check out the progress of a project before investing, most of these coins out there now are just having names but are already forgotten by the teams, so if you don't make diligence research about the coin, you'll end up buying a dead token

The only thing that you can do is HOLD and hope in a future listing. Pay attention in the future to this kind of investments. Collect more info about the project and listings because a coin without pairs has no value!

The coins mentioned by OP are dead long ago, holding doesn't even make a difference. This is the more reason why if I'm going long term on a coin and the project stops rolling out updates as before, I have no option than to dump, its that simple. Sometimes you do proper research before investing in a project, along the line shit may happen and you gotta dump and move on.

This is a period you have to follow the project team up on Thier handles to know if there's still hope or not but I have seen death projects resurrect again maybe this one would one day resurrect. I will advise you follow up the project and next time do ensure you investigate properly before investing in a project to avoid making such mistake second time. Mistake is the best teacher to man. Sorry mate it happened.

It's a pity but the a serious team and project should not end even with the hacked exchange. It has always been said that no one should keep his/her coins on any exchange. An exchange suffering from an hacking dosent put an end to any project.

Right now, there're no way to hold those tokens until to list another new exchange. I think team's will be concern to get add new exchanges. But if this coin is potential and still more legit investors exists than dex is open for start trading. Dead coin is always valueless no matter what it’s listed or not.

And we know that some projects never get listed again. What this represents is a bad investment, he wanted to hold some nameless coin, now he can hold it forever, in his wallet. It can be a good reminder to never invest without research, and if you don't know how to do it than just invest in Bitcoin or Ethereum, both are great. There are other great ones too!
If the team's are owns enough fund to list with new exchanges than absolutely it’s possible. I will be show a several projects which we're delisted than team's able to reach with another exchanges, likes MTCN was listed only idex and delisted from here & right not it’s got Biki exchange, so i think it’s depend on the management they can do everything. But Batcoin is dead, don’t expect to make profit these token after listed an exchange.

If you have an altcoin that doesn't have value anymore, it is better if you will just forget it and move on. You cannnpt replace it via trading because there is no exchange that is available. Learn from it, do not buy an altcoin again that is currently listed in a shit exchange. You will do same mistakes again for sure if you will keep buying an altcoin that have low volume and also listed in not reliable exchange.

I think it is the reason why we should we pick wise exchange and also an altcoin that is tradeable not only in 1 exchange but in more than 5 different exchanges. There are a lot of shitcoins that starting to lose its value because there are no traders and investors that are patronizing it. If we will buy shitcoins, make sure our goal is for short term only because when we hold it for a long period of time, for sure it will be delisted because of low liquidity.

Exchange is the lifeline of every coin and token here this is where you will see how the coin/token is valued and if there is really demand in the market, if a coin/.token do not have have market, or exchange you have no way to liquidate your coin, exchange will define the value of the coin/token.

I've never heard of an altcoin called Batcoin
The first thing you need to do is visit the community group and ask there is another exchange where the token is listed.
Next time before buying a coin you have to be thorough, about where the coin is listed and also pay attention to its liquidity.

Even your coin has many exchanges if all of it is listed in idex, latoken, bitforex and other shit exchanges, it still useless. We have to know that coin listing is good if it works in top exchanges such as binance, bittrex and kucoin. More or less, it would be just a dump series whenever our token will be listed in exchange which are not popular. Probably, we will encounter the lack of liquidity and fake volume if ever our coin is listed in shit exchanges.

Well even if the exchange was alive still it has no value don't invest on a coin or altcoin that you didn't take a time to make a research or else your investment would be wasted, well I feel you when you say that you don't trust exchange, but sometimes you need to sell it when it has a value rather done nothing in return.

To be honest there is nothing you can do, Batcoin has become deadcoin. This means it can not be sold, because there is no demand.
This is a lesson for all of us, always be careful in choosing exchanges and coins. If you do not want to experience a loss. Always
do research and analysis before deciding which exchanges to use and also to choose coins to buy.Choose exchanges and coins that are
popular with high volumes.
That is absolutely right, there is nothing we can do about that. Batcoin is just one of the coins, which is already dead. It can be a bad experience for us, but as you above mentioned we should learn from it and keep doing. We must always be careful about projects, which we want to invest in if we don't want to see such results. l always prefer choosing exchanges, which are trusted by others and also with high volumes. We must focus on volumes of exchange.
