The coin is no more alive, no single sign of rebirth too, it's better to forget this coin and find spare time to learn more about better projects or what makes a better project then start gathering the missing piece bit by bit, learning is all you need right now

What exchange did you use to buy the coin?

I was trying to find more about batcoin in coinmarketcap but there is no result, it means it is very strange that coin who has been listed on the exchange but hasn't listed on the exchange.

Most likely, the coin that you bought was scam coin. Usually if the exchange decided to delisted the coin then there are two possibilites. One, the coin have no volume and two scam coin.
All exchanges have canceled this altcoin listing, which is why you cannot find any information about them. This project is really dead and the tokens are just piles of trash with no value at all
when the coin has been thrown from the exchange, there will be no chance to rise again. moreover, they were not listed on many exchanges before. that means there is a problem with the project, not because they don't have a good enough trade.

So I bought an altcoin called batcoin from a cryptocurrency exchange website. I even withdrew all my coins to an offline wallet, because I don't exactly trust exchange websites. However, the exchange it was listed is now gone, due to a hack.

So now I am stuck with coins that have no value.  Undecided

Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

What do you think I should do now?
I see you are newbie, that coin sucks I guess because it's already inactive after I did few research on the coin, even on coinmarketcap there is no single valid data about this project, it's a shame you can't get a proper answer, just hold for now and don't expect anything from the project but sometimes dead coins do bounce back to life

just let it go, because coins that have no value in the exchange, or coins that are not immediately listed on the exchanger, it will be like that for a long time, even forever. I experienced it for even 1 year, but the difference is I didn't buy but from the bounty campaign.

Is this the same coin as what they give in brave browser? BAT right?

All you can do is wait for them to be listed in another exchange.
I bet they will if they really want to have more buyers and also for the value to increase.
The question: Did you do your research before buying it? Is there really a future for it? Or is it just because of a hype in the chatbox?

At least, there's still hope in this case. It's not that he left his coin in the exchange but it is in his possession. So yes, what he can do right now is closely follow this project and definitely it will be listed again if this is really a good one. Is this the Basic Attention Token (BAT) that he is talking about? Can the OP add the thread or website that he is referring to?

I think it was the result of your foolness.
Without knowing about the project you was invested on the platform.
Without exchange the coin has no value.
The only way is waiting when this coin will list on another exchange.Be patient.
If your luck is well you will get success.
Don't say that, everyone has the right to make decisions and choose their own investments. And if they are not careful and do not have much knowledge, they will encounter many scam projects in this market. I myself have invested a lot of shitcoin but after being in this market for a long time, I have enough knowledge to choose the best altcoins.

That's important to know. The value of any cryptocurrency solely depends on the exchange, if any project had no reason to list their tokens into an exchange then it value won't be seen. We had many of these dead tokens from projects that where abandoned and projects that scammed investors, they have no use any more except if the project is reinvented or get partnership from good organization.

Move on and trade another coin/token or you can see if the devs are still active on their social media posting update about the project or planning to be listed in another exchange but by the looks of it you're holding a dead token with no chance of revival.

Have you ever invested in equities? IMO, a dead cryptocurrency is more like a delisted stock. Involuntary delisting of stocks mostly occur, when the stock exchange bans the company for fraud or similar reasons. Similarly with tokens and altcoins, crypto-exchanges delist them when the project teams engage in fraud, or if the trade volume falls below the sustainable levels. Delisted stocks still have some nominal value, as they are rarely traded through pink sheet platforms. Similarly, delisted tokens may get some minuscule trade volume, from the DEX sites.

All that said, if a token gets delisted from the major exchanges, then don't hold much hope. Dump them if you can. Else forget about the investment and move ahead.

I once had a token like that. but not a large amount because I got it from the bounty. they are removed from the exchange because there is not much trade. That is because every exchange has its provisions to set a minimum trading volume. many big exchanges do that.
You are writing the correct point about that and it has not chance to be revived again. the story will be end after it has been getting delisted from the exchange site. The exchange site is a key for coin to get its value from the demand.

I guess you just bought a shitty coin mate, upon searching through it, it appears on the coinmarketcap however there are data that talks about the coin. Even the price, you can tell if the coin is a shitcoin or not, the last price of Batcoin is at $0.000091, there's no exchange listings from batcoin so expect this project to be gone forever. I don't know what you see in batcoin when you bought it, we do have a lot of high potential coin in the market just right below the bitcoin. Did you hope to get rich when that coin pumps? how pityful.

Investors should do away with pump and dump coins the risk is way to high, you are going to lose if you are late in dumping the coins and when exchange the de list the coin and the developers has no update, then that's the end of story for that coin, so think twice or thrice if you are goign to invest in a coin with no purpose at all.

That's one of the dilemma of investing in a new coin or coins that are not on the top 20, they are traded in one or two unknown exchange and when there are no volume and when the coin is de listed, you are at a loss on what to do on these coins, it will end up just a bad memory of your investment, but you have to move or maybe wait for the coins to be pump again.

The only option is to contact the development team on what their solution is regarding getting listed in exchange as it will cost them money to get listed and whether they are confident enough to spend money to get listed is the main question depending on what their policy is with the project. I have not heard about the project but you might be having their social media contact details or even telegram ID and that is your only bet.

I didn't even find any information about this project at coinmarketcap. It seems they are not listed there yet, and this is just a bullshit project in this market. Now you will not be able to sell them because there is no exchange to support them
