What might seem as a success to one might get the other jealous over him because he himself would have encountered losses.
We have seen cases where people who won big and announced their winnings were either kidnapped or received threats or found their relatives asking them money.
So not everyone is happy for you when you win big. So it's best to keep your happiness to yourself in such cases.

but you certainly see that there are people who share their winnings with other people. some of my friends did that, sharing winning screenshots from the slot sites they usually played on. For friends who are used to gambling, there may not be a problem. but there may be negative sentiments from people or their families if someone doesn't like gambling.
It would be better not to share our defeats or wins with anyone. play for ourselves and don't need to listen to what people say.

I think what @OP said is true because carelessly sharing our success stories in winning gambling games with everyone without choosing who the person is can arouse their curiosity so that they will try to gamble openly or secretly. If they gamble and lose, they may say that what they got from gambling has made them lose. And unfortunately, maybe some of them will ask for compensation because they tried gambling because they heard our story. Indeed, we should not be blamed for sharing stories about our success in gambling, but we should be able to choose who can listen to our stories. How their condition or situation an issue that should concern me stopping me from celebrating my wins in the manner I chose to celebrate it. A scattering reasons will make me chose not to publicly celebrate my gambling win of which this one from Op can't be one of them.

If your asking me not to celebrate it for security reasons of not being attacked or a target by some miscreants due to how huge the money I have won is, of course that will sound right to accept, or to avoid those episodes of people begging you for money and feeling entitled to be gifted money from you, that also is another good thought to accept and not publicly celebrate big wins.

But telling someone that it's because of his gambling winnings you heard that dragged you back to gambling is unjustifiable and a sort of blame game that doesn't make sense to me. All my losses didn't make you to quit from gambling why should my one time big win make you gamble the more? What's the logic in that!

It's not really other people's responsibility to tiptoe around someone who is experiencing their lowest of lows. But it could really help if people would be mindful about what they are posting online and sharing in personal. I think every story is unique in its own way and I like to read most of them. Some of those winners actually lose their gains later on because they keep playing but on the other hand, some smarter people use their money to create a financial empire for themselves and I am really interested in their story. Exactly so. An individual should learn to be more discreet with their winnings mostly when in the midst of those who know nothing about gambling nor have an interest in the subject.

Its none others business if you would really be sharing up your winnings or would really be boasting it out into the public. Why? there are people who are really just that happy on the experience that they are really that in that moment even if it wasnt intentional those actions or reactions are really just that normal. In reality, who really needs to adjust? We cannot discredit anyone if they are celebrating their winnings simply because they 'worked' hard for it and like all of us they once suffered from loss, which I think why we shouldn't take it negatively. If you are envious of them, you are the one who should adjust; continue playing 'til you win or just quit already to lessen your expectations to yourself. Everyone is having their own battles and if it is our insecurities we would imply to other people then we would be wrong for it. The only danger I see of announcing one's winnings is the risk of getting robbed by bad people. It would be looking like you are inviting them to get your money from you, unconsciously and unintentionally.
Indeed will not be the winner's problem. It is not being insensitive, the ones who are taking it negatively, does. For sure we know to ourselves that upon entering this industry, luck won't be equal to all of us and that there'll be times fortune would be hard to most of us. I guess what you are trying to say is to control their mouth shut and just keep their success story on their own. Well, you can’t control others from doing that just because there might be some people who will be offended or get influenced. I don't think that sharing your success story should be taken like that by those who are struggling because of their habits. It is not your problem if they are in debt because of gambling. And don't let others cut your fun and happiness to share what you have achieved, you can share it to anybody as you wish and you're not going to let them cargo their burdens upon you when you're just there to share what you have won and the amount you profit. But anyway, it is to each their own and if OP thinks that it's not right to share it like that when you have no idea what others are dealing with, it's just best to keep yourself lowkey.

OP, you have a point there, you never can tell what others are facing, and some will envy you due to that. Even those players who made it big today might not be able to replicate the success in months or years, so one should be mindful of the people they tell their story as their story might either make them or break them. Well, you have a point. It may trigger those person who really wants or trying their best to quit. Tho, this should be confidential, anything that connected about your income or profit should be keep to yourself or to your partner only. I understand that sharing some of your highlights about gambling is for encouraging and giving motivation to other gamblers but I agree that it may trigger those person who has a negative outcome towards gambling so we should limit ourself when it comes to sharing your good experience in gambling most especially your winnings.
