Every story you tell someone can either be a motivation or something to get them depressed. I have been thinking about this and I'd like to pass this advice to every serious gambler in this platform who has won a substantial amount of money from gambling, not to share their success story about winning to everyone and in every place. You do not know the story of every gambler, and on the face some gamblers may just look alright but in deep down they are in debt, some depressed due to addiction to gambling that is destroying them and has made them plan to quit. Your success story when shared indiscriminately may trigger and motivate this addicted gambler battling to stop to want to keep gambling, having the believe that their time is close. Be careful who and where you talk about your success in gambling, you may just be encouraging an addicted gambler to continue.

I agree!
Positive results in a game of chance are generally the result of one or two of the following reasons: Luck and Professionalism.

About luck, we are talking about something that happens rarely, we hardly see anyone getting rich in gambling games just with luck because it needs to occur several times at a strategic moment so that you can multiply your winnings a few times exponentially.

Regarding competence, we are talking about that player who knows what he is doing, who only bets on what he knows, who studies games a lot (mainly sports or cards) and has mastery over the subject.

Both scenarios are for few people, most simply don't fit these criteria and that's why most of them lose.
Unfortunately, these factors are not explained by people when they say they made a lot of money, they say it as if it were actually something simple that anyone can do, but no!

Please!  What are you talking about,!  It's not the players' fault to share information about their successes and then have other players get involved.

In fact, it is recommended that players keep a blog of their victories and defeats, check your idea, it is poorly founded.

This is right and it mostly deepens on a person’s mood or what they are currently going through, at different moods a certain story can serve two different purposes. Sharing your success stories just as you mentioned Op is good to serve as motivation for others and it is not your fault if it triggers some people because you are not aware of their situation and yoyr intentions are clean and you never intended for them to suffer. If they have really suffered and are willing to change then they would because gambling addiction is bad and it is always advised to gamble responsibly.

Gambling addiction is being discouraged and just because a person hears stories of someone else wins doesn’t guarantee he is also going to win as well so no matter what we hear about others we should not try to think about it too much because gambling will continue draining you no matter how motivated you think you are.

I only tell my wins and losses to my close friends, I never tell my wins to just anyone. Apart from that, I also share my wins on this forum, I think it's fun to share wins and there's no harm in sharing a little wins on this forum.

I don't share my winnings other than in this forum because I think in this forum most of them are mature gamblers, most of them already know the risks and responsibilities in gambling, so I feel comfortable sharing in this forum.

We cannot control them at all and sharing your success stories is not a bad thing but maybe, you have to filter out and just share it to anyone who you think can be more inspired by your stories and not to encourage them to gamble more. I get the point here and that addicted gambler should start seeking a professional help so he will not think this way. I’ve heard a lot of good stories and I can say that its really encouraging to gamble more.
In my opinion, it is not advisable to share success tales in the gaming industry. The reason I say this is that there are some people who, as soon as you share your gambling stories, will begin to be disturbed that they, too, want to participate, which means that all their anticipation will be that gambling is a platform where they can fast earn money. They are unaware that some people lose too much money before they may succeed. If gambling is a palace that makes a person's future bright, then everyone has become a gambling billionaire by now.If you don't, let me tell you right now that the gambling we're witnessing is just a lucky game to win.

The gambler who like to earn money from the gambling site should ready to spend his money and time in the gambling site.Because the gambling was based on the knowledge towards the game, many people consider the gambling was based on the pure luck. But the gambling industry had another story which was not shared to you at your earliest stage of childhood. The success story of one gambler will be the reason for new gamblers to the gambling site.Because new people join only if they had some money based income at the end.Because our income is not enough to run the peaceful life.

I don't really see this as that bad because it can give someone a hint on how they can become successful in their gambling life, The issue here is that people have different ways of understanding things, so in this case, it can be encouraging to some set of gamblers and in the other hand provoke the feelings of those who have lost heavily in gambling or who are gambling addicts to likely continue, I kind of think is an individual thing, if you feel good sharing it, there's nothing wrong with that.
The gambler who surround by the fake relatives will face this issue, because they never life his relations to live the better life than their family. This was main reason the gamblers hide their own gambling as their secrets to the friends and relatives to escape from the traps.

Thanks for bringing this. I can understand what you are communicating. There is a good reason a gambling site is capable of paying big winning and letting people to know, so that those people that know about it can be motivated to gamble the more. This is just like what's you are also saying. If a gambler is telling people about the big amount of money he won, this will trigger people that he is telling to gamble or to gamble more if the person is already a gambler. Best to keep this to themselves.

I think maybe casinos have thought or planned for this from the beginning, their ability to pay out large amounts of winnings by gamblers is not something that casinos give away for free, or maybe there is another purpose that casinos have planned for. Simply put and the logic is that gambling winnings come in the form of money and the fact is that everyone wants money, so when one person wins and the casino pays them then we cannot simply say that the casino lost some of their budget to give to the winner, but the fact is that there is a reciprocity that can be greater than the large amount that the casino has given to the winner, That is usually people who manage to get a win, especially with a large amount, then surely they will tell their luck to one or even several of their friends and that's where the casino will again take advantage of several friends of the winner who are also clear they will participate in gambling at the casino that has been won by his friend, not only that because usually people who have managed to get a win at a casino then usually they will come back again to gamble there by putting hopes for a much higher number of wins. On the other hand, I think this is a statement that is in accordance with the facts.
This is also because of the referral system in casinos. when the main player gets a win, he will definitely share the winnings with the referrals under him so that they will continue to be excited to play gambling and get the same winnings. but the fact is that a referral will never get a lot of winnings even more than the main player. most of them will get defeated continuously and make them get into debt to continue playing gambling.
or even there are also main players who only benefit from their referrals while the capital from playing gambling they no longer have or experience the same defeat as their referrals.

Every story you tell someone can either be a motivation or something to get them depressed.
Because I hear the success story of a gambler, do you think that will serve as motivation for me to keep on gambling? I don't really think so. If some one gambling story serves as motivation, then you might end up regretting it because you will never want to stop gambling when you are supposed to stop, you will want to keep on gambling, hoping to make it from gambling one day, and you might never make it, you might just keep on losing money from gambling and you will never win, other people's success in gambling shouldn't serve as motivation.

I have been thinking about this and I'd like to pass this advice to every serious gambler in this platform who has won a substantial amount of money from gambling, not to share their success story about winning to everyone and in every place.
When gambling, your winnings should be kept a secret to only yourself. Don't be too joyful and decide to share your winnings with people. Don't be surprised that you might be tracked and robbed because they already know that you have money with you. That's why I prefer to gamble online rather than visit a physical shop, because when i gamble online and win, nobody will discover that i have won if i don't tell anyone, but when you visit a physical shop, you are going to be exposed to people who think you won some reasonable amount of money, which might end up endangering your life.

And not everyone should bother themselves with caring about people winning. It doesn't even matter that people share their own personal wins, the media will ALWAYS portray big winners of gambling in their news every now and then. And just as how most people don't really care about that kind of stuff, they shouldn't really care as well with how other people share their victory wins regardless of how close they are personally.

And really, it's rather tiring already to take care of yourself, minding how others would also think kind of kills the self. Not that I personally share my personal wins though. Maybe when we bet together, but arbitrarily? Nope.

It's doesn't make sense to blame those gamblers who are just sharing their winning experiences.

We can compare it to what you read in social media nowadays, or media, news and any platforms where there are stuffs, stories, incidents, situations, that you don't like to hear. Just simply let it go away on your other ear. That is something we can't control.

If these gamblers got motivated and become addicted because of such good winning stories, blame that person instead as they are the one responsible on where they are now. Gambling stories are everywhere and sometimes, you can't avoid encountering those.

Gambling is a practice or activity of betting which involve staking or losing money and It all works with the law of probability while staking. There is a chance of winning and losing and it all comes with different stories. A story that can make one to either stop or continue gambling, someone success story can make an addict to go into debt in order to have his or her own success story. Hearing someone story should actually help you to learn on how the gambling works and also where or who we give these teachings to matters a lot.
That's what I also believe. We are able to discover about other people's betting patterns through their stories. At times, it might help us in picking up new skills that could lead to success. I don't see any negative impact in telling stories. Rather, I find it to be helpful.

Honestly speaking, I could care less if it demotivates them into gambling, In fact I hope they become disheartened. You might think I'm evil or whatever but the thing is that people who get disheartened quit from what they do. And if that's what it takes for them to finally quit chasing wins and their dreams of getting a financially full life from gambling their lives away, then I say so be it. Now it's a different story when they get encouraged or inspired to gamble even more, as I want as less people who are not for gambling to even explore the world of gambling if you know what I mean. We have a surplus of people here who are revenge gambling and at the same time those who are already on the verge of gambling addiction. If we let these people run around gambling and getting even more riled to gamble when they should've already stopped then the blame is indirectly put upon those who plants the idea of gambling to their minds.

Plus from a safety standpoint, it doesn't make sense to brag about your winnings, you're attracting people who aren't supposed to know about your shit.

It is always key to keep a secret life because it is the first point of protection. People can never destroy something they don’t know about. Concerning the issue of betting or gambling, I don’t see much of a thing there about advising someone because this could be a motivation for the person, the problem remains how you pass the message, if you keep on bragging about how you win, it might inspire them to continue but if you actually relay the message continuously how it is for them to go back to knowing coming back to gambling it will at least inspire true learning by that person
The way and manner in which you put things to them determine how they convey and understand the whole thing,  but just as we have all agreed on the role privacy plays in our overall security,  it is also better to give anyone you are telling about you bug winning,  give them the right information and what is needed for the well being as you break your winning news to them,  this way,  they will be aware of the risk of overbearing since they already know what sacrifice it takes to arrive at such a result.

But I will never tell a none gambler about my winning or losses,  because one of my principles is that,  I will never teach anyone how to gamble both directly and indirectly,  so it is a tradition for me,  and unless someone shows me Interest in gambling if not you can never hear me discussing anything related to gambling with anyone.

I myself am not used to announcing the winnings I achieve anywhere or on any platform, whether it is gambling, trading,
because it will only trigger someone who is jealous and should not know it will be hurt.
It is better to enjoy its own benefits without the need for others to know how much we get.

If the goal tells you the profit because of motivation, then do not mention the exact nominal because it will be more sensitive.
Simply say that you are successful in gambling and hit the Jackpot.

Someone who is addicted will indeed trigger to do gambling again if they hear this kind of thing.
They will never be satisfied and always say that he is close and close to the jackpot to be gotten.

Lucas?

I think that's with anything.  You can say the same with drinking alcohol.  Tons of events coincide with alcoholic beverages.  If you have a friend or someone you know who is addicted yeah you might want to limit it but just talking about it shouldn't be a determining factor for theor relapse.  I do agree if it's severe that you should steer clear of those conversations though.

I often try to view gambling to be for matured minds. Don’t really subscribe to the age differentials got adulthood and what’s legally binding by law but, for the mature minds. Unfortunately, that isn’t quantifiable and as such, we keep having those gamblers that would take a deep dive into what ever is paraded to them. Either through promotions or unsolicited/unconscious broadcast of wins. It’s pretty motivating I tell you especially, when it’s all by this individual whom you know, in your locality or is right there before you. He immediately becomes an evidence that it’s possible and you go about searching for that big win and forget the luck factor to gambling.
Not everyone can win and so, even with these broadcasts going on, still play within limits.
When it doesn’t bring you any security issues, I feel it’s okay to tell just those you hope to share it with but, be sure to know that, not everyone would be happy with your successes.

Very good advice and just as you said,  every story is either a motivation or course for depression,  taking a none gambler for example,  when you tell them how you use $3 to win $200 within a few hours can motivate them to start gambling without even checking the risk that is involved in gambling and that is why we have to be private as most as we can,  because we don't know who our stories may motivate and how it may motivate them on the long run.

I quite understand what you are saying, mate, and you are right.

For example, someone might be in a confused state of mind where they are contemplating either to gamble or not to gamble, and if, by coincidence, you are in the midst  of such a person and you perhaps shared your testimony of winning a huge amount from gambling, your testimony can actually aggravate them to go and gamble while they are actually trying to draw a conclusion of not gambling. If the gambler gets influenced by your testimony and gambles with the money, they have no plans of losing. There are two things involved: either they will win or lose, and if they get unlucky and lose that money, your testimony has become a disadvantage to them.

I actually don't hide my winnings from my fellow gamblers or friends; I really don't think it will cause any harm to them, but if they really allow it, then it was born in their decision.
