Kohli said that he is going with Rohit and Dhawan combination for this pitch who are perfect openers in the past but in the recent time Form of Dhawan is not in great position but still he will be given the chance hopefully. I am eagerly waiting for the toos which is coming in the next few minutes meanwhile Krunal and Prasid got their caps today means they are going to be in the laying XI but expected Surya Kumar Yadav to play because he played well in when the chance was given to him in T20.

Bangladesh was in trouble initially. When Mushfiqur Rahim got out, they were 184/4 after 40.3 overs. Shikhar Dhawan is in really bad shape and even his domestic team has decided to drop him. KL Rahul also seems to be going through a rough patch. If they want left-right combination, then rather than taking it as an excuse to include out of form players such as Dhawan/Rahul, they should go for Ishan Kishan or Devdutt Padikkal. Or Rohit can be dropped to the no.3 position to include Shubman Gill or Prithvi Shaw.

I wish Devdutt Padikkal got selected as he was in great form and even if there is no slot in the playing eleven he should be selected as scoring 4 centuries back to back is not a small feat and he is really young and a selection would have elevated his confidence.

Anyway, the selectors will be happy. Else they would be in big trouble. So many good pace bowlers to select from, and there is room only for 3-4 players. And it is going to be even tougher when Shami will be fit. Shami, Bumrah, Shardul, Natarajan, Saini and Siraj forms the first tier, from which only around 50% can be included in the squad. And Shardul have the advantage here, as he is the best batsmen among all of them.

There are promising youngsters fighting for a slot in the Delhi side, such as Dhruv Shorey, Nitish Rana and Himmat Singh.

What an incredible batting by Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, as a fan I would want them to open the Indian innings in the world cup. Yadav has made it clear that he is the number 3 . I little bit of shuffling and the English team is on the downside. I hope the Indian bowlers do their job efficiently.

The Indian board has a lot of young talented players. Those who are unable to express their abilities due to lack of opportunities. If they get a chance in the national team, maybe they will be able to perform well. They should be given a chance. Although many players have done well in the domestic league, but they have failed to deliver as expected in the national team. Yet the board should give young players a chance. As if there will no shortage of qualified players for the Indian national team in the future.
