BCCI recently said No (for the 100th time). This answer is not going to change, no matter how hard Sethi Saab or PCB try.
They won't risk the player's life for cricket despite getting presidential-level security and rightly so, as life is more important than sports. Even Police forces are not secure there atm, the recent Peshawar blast is an example.
BCCI has refused to play in Pakistan even before Sethi sb took charge of PCB. Australia, England and New Zealand have toured Pakistan and everything went fine. Security of team is not an issue.
Peshawar blast has nothing to do with BCCI stance as they were not touring Pakistan ever since BJP has taken over government in India, india came to Pakistan in 2008 last time. PCB best option is not to travel to India for WC.
IMO It's pretty unproductive to reply without any facts. I know in general fair amount of pakbros are a bit ignorant when it comes to history but they can at least try to be accurate or honest when it comes to cricket.
The last time Indian team toured there was back in 2005-06, not 2008. This brings us to the second part, yeah I agree BJP invented the time machine and they went back to the timeline when Congress was in power and stopped Indian team to visit Pakistan, evil BJP. #MudiSuldRezine
Sethi and PCB's officials should have some self-respect. They again repeated the same question in ACC meeting which was scheduled in Bahrain and BCCI said No again. I would say Props to Pakistan if they opt to boycott the upcoming WC.
Terrorists popping up here n there and blowing the majids and innocent police officers but sure security of players is not an issue at all. Security is the biggest issue for Indian team, that's why everyone from the PCB keeps offering Presidential security to every visiting team. Think about repercussions if something goes wrong, even if there is a 1% chance. Pakistan is in mess on the Western front already and it takes one security lapse to make matter worse and our Borders will become red hot.
Indians are focused on the economy and other stuff. Virtually can't afford to have another useless distraction on the border just because some privileged people want to watch cricket between India and Pakistan.
