Both the teams have given the best. This is how West Indies give unexpected performance. The unlucky part, Shepherd and Hosein in the crease and unable to win the match. Why I say this? As the score is high there is pressure to maintain the required run rate. Failing at any over will make the team go for big shots in the falling over. In the last over 15 runs required, but they were able to score 11 runs. Other than the first ball, every ball has runs.

The odds were moving rapidly in the final few overs and Shikhar Dhawan kept his cool in picking the right bowlers and Mohammed Siraj bowled really well even though he conceded runs majority were edges to the boundary. India made 308 in the end. 45 runs came in the last 5 overs, with Jayden Seales and Romario Shepherd leaking plenty of runs. India did the right thing by dropping Kohli. Some of the youngsters made use of the opportunity, especially Shreyas Iyer and Shubman Gill. And I need to say that Shikhar Dhawan as the captain looks more capable when compared to either KL Rahul or Rohit Sharma. Now it is the turn of the Indian bowlers. I have doubt only on the margin of victory for India. West Indies stand no chance in this match.

If India doesn't whitewash the Windies in the ODI series, I would truly be surprised. They are already off to a great start in the first ODI and I don't see Windies winning unless one or two players deliver spectacular performances.

I disagree. BCCI kept thinking in a similar manner for a long period due to which Kohli ultimately became a burden on the team which is why he needed the break in order to try and regain his form.India is batting really well against West Indies in the first ODI. By the looks of it, I don’t think West Indies is going to be able to beat India in the first ODI. This was expected to some extent. It was sad to see Shikhar Dhawan missing his century. But India is holding on quite tightly in this match.
I also agree that Virat Kohli has become a burden for the Indian team right now. He is just carrying a big name with him and he is doing absolutely nothing to help the team. For me, Virat Kohli has not been a successful captain. But he had always been a talented performer. And when he cannot perform there is no need for him in the team. I am really surprised to see the selectors having so much faith in Virat Kohli that they are willing to give him another chance before the World Cup.

Next month Pakistan is playing against Netherlands and this will be like a practice match for them. Among the bottom teams, Netherlands makes winning. With the top order teams something distract the performance. Over time this will turn to be more stronger. Following the Netherlands match the T20 tri series among Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh is there. This is good for every team to make a good start in the World Cup T20.
There is no doubt Pakistan is one of the most entertaining team is cricket history with too many achievements and controversies around them but still achieving some good things with T-20 and ODI world cup and having good test records as well but as I am feeling ICC never give them good support and most of the time they are allowing teams like Bangladesh and Sri Lanka instead of Pakistan for having more cricket which is a big question mark and I never have good reply of this.With most chances now Indian influence is also having big impact on ICC, so they are never allowing Pakistan to do as they deserve but good thing here attitude is still very positive, and they are fighting back into this with bang and good wins.
After few bad years Pakistani team is back in their aggressive style and doing good in all three formats which is good signal for their fans because last few years while they were unable to play at home surely was never been ideal situation but with few new and quality players are taking their responsibility and having good practice against quality teams giving them positive results.
Even currently PSL is in early stages but bringing some good youngsters in limelight which is going to be turning point for them in near future.
