I also think that Pakistan is a very strong team, as Pakistan has a strong batting team, I think they are a strong team in all aspects.  However, the Netherlands and the team are so bad that they play very well despite the number of players they have.  But Pakistan will have to struggle to lose the game. I think.

Should be a cakewalk for Pakistan. As I mentioned earlier, Netherlands has to deal with the handicap of so many of their regular players being unavailable. Players such as Roelof van der Merwe and Timm van der Gugten are busy with their county sides. And on the other hand, Pakistani bowlers always perform well while playing under European conditions. The younger Dutch batsmen will have a tough time in dealing Pakistani pacers such as Shaheeh Shah Afridi and Hasan Ali. At this point, Netherlands is at the bottom of the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League points table, with just 25 points from 16 matches.
After few bad years Pakistani team is back in their aggressive style and doing good in all three formats which is good signal for their fans because last few years while they were unable to play at home surely was never been ideal situation but with few new and quality players are taking their responsibility and having good practice against quality teams giving them positive results.

Even currently PSL is in early stages but bringing some good youngsters in limelight which is going to be turning point for them in near future.

Series against the Netherlands is surely going to be one-sided because they are not good enough as they were few years back recently they are also searching for few quality players, but sadly their domestic system is all depended on England which is not allowing them for having better quality.

Depends on individual preferences. You guys are praising him for helping England to win the 2019 World Cup. But at the same time, I hate him for stealing the trophy from New Zealand. Kane Williamson and his team deserved the trophy, but Stokes scored runs after the ball was deflected from his bat during overthrow. The umpire also sided with England, and in the end they received 5 runs from that ball. Williamson, being a gentleman never complained about that. But for many of us, New Zealand were the real champions and Ben Stokes proved to be the ultimate villain.
Well said. Majority of Cricket lovers including me never accepted the result and judged it as a draw while the minority accepted it and hail lucky Stokes as their hero.

He was truly a hero when he helped his team win from a losing position during the Ashes, but he definitely wasn't a hero during the controversial 2019 World Cup final. He is an entertaining cricketer who is also very, very lucky.

Also, Williamson needs to stop being so soft in my opinion.
Williamson by nature is gentleman in this game, and he accepts his defeat and not go ahead about complaint was big shock for me as well because New Zealand were surely ahead, and they deserve this trophy, but sadly empire's controversial decision give to England for their first ICC trophy like they have only one FIFA soccer World cup which is also controversial.

And Stokes this unsporting tactic bring him from hero to zero for me even most of the part is going with empire decision but still he is also guilty party in this case. But, as of now both finalist are in the worst form in ODI format and need some good form and quality for having better results in coming day specially England which is already lost series against India and now having terrible time against Proteas.

It is sad not to see Ben Stokes again in colored clothing as he is one of the greatest all-rounders in world cricket. Having retired from his least favorite format, he will now focus on test cricket. Due to his outstanding performance in the 2019 World Cup final match, England and the cricket world will always remember him. It is safe to say that he was one of the true heroes of the 2019 World Cup.
Ben Stokes is in retirement but his game will remain in the hearts of billions of viewers. He may not be available in ODIs again. But his contribution to the 2019 World Cup will never be forgotten. He gave England victory in the end by batting brilliantly. He is one of the best all-rounders with a decent reputation in all formats.

his retirement is a huge loss not only for England but for the fans too, I for one will definitely miss him in the ODI format and I’m sincerely praying that he continues in other formats for a long while now. Furthermore South Africa seems to have a stable start as they have scored 72 runs in 13 overs for the loss of one wicket, but if England can get few quick wickets now then that’ll definitely put SA under pressure and give England a chance to win this game easily.
The end wasn't good for Ben Stokes in his last ODI match. England has lost the match. But he will always be remembered for his great contribution in 2019 ODI world cup final match. England has won the ODI world cup for his great performance. His ODI career stats is great too. Ben Stokes has taken this decision for the welfare of England team. Because he is unable to concentrate properly in all format. He isn't going to take the retirement from the other formats in the near future.
”31 year old Ben Stokes has announced that England's ODI match against South Africa on Tuesday will be his last ODI”. After knowing the utterance many of his fans were shocked. Because he is a great and successful player in cricket. There is noting to say about his success. He has played 105 matches in international ODI cricket. His total runs there are 2924 and batting average is 38.98. He is one of the best in not only batting but also bowling. The reason for his sudden retirement from ODI is that he will now concentrate on Test cricket.

Pakistan is already in good shape, and they have very good track record against teams like the Netherlands even in past they were on unpredictable mode and this was surely giving all teams some advantage but recently with few new youngsters they are changing things in positive way and having good record which can give them 3 - 0 win against them at their home.

Pakistan will win all the matches against the Netherlands if they don't rest their key players and keep them in the squad. The Netherlands is a very weak team if we compare them with Pakistan. Pakistan also has some world-class bowlers. It will be very challenging for the Netherlands' batsmen to face the Pakistani bowlers. I don't see the possibility of the Netherlands winning any match in this series.

Pakistan really should not be afraid, and even though they are not in their best form right now, I believe they are not going to lose against Netherlands. But the Netherlands should try their darnedest to win, at least one match.

In addition, New Zealand is going to be heavily favored in the match between West Indies and New Zealand. I believe that West Indies will be able to win one match. West Indies generally do well in T20 matches. So they should be able to win at least one. Especially when it is going to be played in the West Indies.

Given the recent form of Netherlands, and the unavailability of key players due to the ongoing championship, I guess they have less than 1% chance of getting any points from the ODI series. My focus is towards the New Zealand vs West Indies series. If West Indies gets some points here, then it gets tough for South Africa to gain automatic qualification for the next world cup. Here is my take on the situation as of now:

Teams that have secured qualification to 2023 CWC: Total 7 teams: England, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, New Zealand, Pakistan, West Indies, India and Australia.

One more team will qualify based on the points table, and a total of 4 teams are fighting for this spot: West Indies (most probable), Sri Lanka, Ireland and South Africa.

Zimbabwe and Netherlands have almost zero chances to qualify directly.

Keshav Maharaj as the captain of the South African team is performing well. Yesterday, his field placing was exceptional and directly resulted in some of the top order England batsmen getting out. It is just amazing.. after all the player exodus and financial troubles, South Africa managed to beat one of the big-4 sides, and that too while playing abroad.
That said, I don't know what happened to their transition targets. Sometime within this year, the cricket board announced that the number of white players in the XI will be reduced to 4. Yesterday's XI had 7 white (Malan, dKock, vdDussen, Markram, Miller, Klaasen and Nortje) and 4 non-white (Phehlukwayo, Maharaj, Ngidi and Shamsi) players. And actually they had 8 white players, since Dwaine Pretorius replaced Andile Phehlukwayo during the second innings.
After very long time I watch performance like this from South Africa away from home like India they completely outclass England in bowling and batting which is really amazing from them because before series I was not expecting performance like this from them and as England were playing against India I was feeling England will have good time against South Africa, and they could be on upper hand but after watching first match now my feeling is completely different because now look like they will have better command in white ball with most chances they will win both ODI and t20i series but after this most chances they will have some tough time in test format because they are not good enough in this format and lack of experienced players.

I don’t think that is going to be a viable idea for South Africa, especially with a few major ICC tournaments coming up. I have always believed that the most critical thing for a cricket team is building a team that can play well together. This is irrespective of the color, and the race of players in the team. Things like white lives matter, black lives matter and other racial bullshit are changing. I am not saying that black players aren't as good as white players. But at the moment having only four white players on the team can be a bit too much to handle for South Africa right now. This is especially the case when there is a team that is functioning well. I just think there shouldn’t be any certain number for any race in any cricket team. In my opinion, South Africa's performance against England was superb, no doubt about that.

After having the worst end of recent West Indies vs Bangladesh series I am feeling New Zealand is going to be hot favorite for this and West Indies is going to be on back foot because they are doing some experiment which are not working for them, and they have few youngsters which can do better in the future, but this is going to take some time but good thing happening with this all now we are having one year in World Cup which is good time period for them, and they can bring good combination for this all with these youths which already hammered by Bangla tigers recently.

Anyone paying attention to the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League? Next series is in August, to be played between Pakistan and Netherlands (the matches will be played at Rotterdam. Should be a cakewalk for any other team, but given the volatile form of Pakistan, I won't be surprised if they lose at least one of the three scheduled matches. The same time, another series will take place in Bridgetown between West Indies and New Zealand. West Indies need at least one win to secure their spot in the world cup.

Small correction, his last outing in ODI format was tonight against Proteas. Didn't do anything special in his final appearance tho.
My mistake. Anyway, he retired way too quickly since he took a long break recently and more people wanted to watch him play in ODIs when compared to tests based on my research. Will definitely miss watching him play in ODIs.

England has won the ODI world cup for his great performance.
Wrong. England won thanks to nonsensical ICC rules. Also, Stokes did play well, but luck sided with him towards the end.

334 surely a huge target for England which were already struggling against India in batting bowling standard was same like India because Proteas are also rich in this department in presence of Maharaj, Shamsi, Nortje and Ngidi all done amazing job even both English openers were in good form, and they set a good platform for rest of players, but they fail again and lost this match easily just Root done good resistance at the end, but this was not enough for having better end of this match.

After watching this match now I am feeling this is going to be tough summer for England in white ball game because India already expose them in T20i and ODI with this in first game against South Africa they were struggling in both departments first bowling and then batting which mean they are going to have the worst results in big events like T-20 World Cup and in ODI World Cup in India.

In addition, England was unable to keep up with the ranches and the run rate. It was a really big score to chase for anyone. In the end, England did try to accelerate the scoring, but they lost all their wickets in the process. This is proving to be tough for England, especially when they will be playing in subcontinental conditions. And they have been performing badly on both sides (balling/batting). I think their results will especially be bad in the T20 format because that is the format, where even smaller teams play quite freely and fearlessly. I don’t think England will be able to bounce back because the T20 World Cup is not far.

Good Luck

Talking about Tamim, that reference from Pffrt does not look good. Tamim is a good player as far as I know but that does not mean he become the burden of the team. In the world cup and in the last match he seems a burden for his team.
I can't deny that Tamim is a good batsman. He had his good times as well, and bad as well. Even if he had off form, he wasn't dropped from the team, even though we had good batsman who can replace him nicely. You think I'm talking shit because he has not performed well in the world cup? Man, other than some of his loyal fan (die hard, lol), to everyone else he is burden. We need a good performance in current, if someone is taken because of his previous performance, it would be fool. In case of Tamim, playing such worst innings at row, he wasn't dropped. You can't imagine what would be in case of other batsmans.
There is no doubt that Tamim is one of the best batsmen. He has already proved several times that he is one of the best openers in Bangladesh. A few days ago, Tamim Iqbal was selected as the player of the series against the West Indies.  He is a good captain as well as a good batsman. So his need is very much in Bangladesh team

If you list the best batsmen of Bangladesh, Tamim Iqbal will definitely be at the top. Therefore, if a player like Tamim is not in the squad in the T20 format at the moment, it will affect the performance of the Bangladesh team. Moreover, Bangladesh has yet to find a replacement for Tamim. No young player is yet successful batting in the opening.
