I was looking at the 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League points table. With the recent whitewash against New Zealand, now Australia is at the second position with 120 points. Bangladesh has been pushed to the third position, with England on top. Qualification scenarios remain the same. 7 of the direct qualification slots are already decided. And as of now, a total of 4 countries are fighting for the sole remaining position - West Indies, Ireland, Sri Lanka and South Africa. As per my understanding, West Indies has the maximum chances.

Truly big comeback, if they've lost two more wickets within the score of 100 runs this could've ended the innings not reaching 200 runs. Smith and Labuschagne made the recovery from the early wicket fall. From the New Zealand end, everyone had given their contribution and little more is needed from few players. Maybe this will keep them good for the upcoming matches. I expected this to be a win for New Zealand. Anyhow Australia have made a whitewash.
I lost my best too - Pakistan team was in a good form but they lost on the batting line. Congratulation to Sri Lanaka for being an amazing team

After Australia set a target of 268 I was almost certain that Australia would win this match. Because recently the performance of New Zealand batsmen is not very good. On the other hand, the Australian bowlers were in very good form. And in today's match too, the performance of Australia's bowlers was quite good.
New Zealand managed to collect 242 runs today. I thought they would lose all wickets before 200. But they continued to fight till the end to win the match. New Zealand did not win even one of the three matches. It is indeed very shameful for them.

Superb comeback today by Aus after they lost 2 quick wikcets. Marnus Labuschagne and Smith rebuild the innings very well and are the prime reason why Aus won today. In reply its disappointing to see NZ failing to get to target of 267. Aus have won the series.

Congratulations to team Australia for completing a clean sweep against New Zealand in the three-match One Day International series. There is a lot of instability in the Kiwi team; while bowlers are doing their best, batters are having a hard time getting their form back. Australia gives Aaron Finch a perfect farewell by winning the series 3-0. A white-ball champion in every sense of the word. My best wishes go out to Aron Finch.
There was no doubt that Australia was the better team in this series. As well as playing well against Australia, New Zealand also got close to winning the match. Every time, however, it was Australia who came out on top. As I said above, you can do it, and it did seem like New Zealand got close every time, but at the end of the day, Australia did not face too many difficulties during the match. The reason why I say that is because I believe Australia was never really tested by New Zealand in this series in my opinion. Anyway, the next time these two teams are going to face should be at the T20 World Cup. Good luck to both teams.

Both the teams played very good cricket. Watching these teams play is fun because you have to wait until the last ball of the game to confirm the winner. Australia's batsmen performed well and scored 267 for the loss of 5 wickets, which is a normal score in the ODI format. New Zealand's batsmen keep losing their wickets which in my opinion could be the reason for their short run defeat.New Zealand managed to collect 242 runs today. Williamson is also having the worst time with bat and captaincy which is surely going to have issue for them with they need change of mentality which is important as they already have good bowlers and batsmen for giving their best in this game.

New Zealand won the toss and decided to field. The pitch condition looks like today's pitch is also a bowling-friendly pitch. The decision to take the fielding seems to have been the right one. But in the previous match, New Zealand lost all wickets for just 82 runs. If the batsmen bat like that stupid, New Zealand will be defeated today too.
New Zealand's bowlers started the innings well. At the end of 7 overs Australia collected only 16 runs, Australia lost two wickets of Inglis and Finch. But if Australia manage to score 200 runs today I think they will win

They started well but were not able to sustain it for long. Australia gave them a target of 268 runs to win this match. At the moment they have lost 5 wickets and have just scored 173 runs. They are maintaining an average run rate of 4.7% and if they do not lose any more wickets they might win this match. If they do then it will be hard for them to win this match.

I don't think New Zealand will win. After Australia lost 2 wickets for just 16 runs, I thought Australia would not be able to score even 200 runs. But Labuschange and Smith's massive 118-run partnership helped Australia set a target of 268. Smith and Alex Carey's 69-run partnership was much needed. The New Zealand team's highest score in this series is 232 runs. We have seen their very bad batting in the previous match as well. So I don't think that New Zealand will win today's match by batting for a huge target of 267 runs.

Australians are very much complacent in the match right now and they will end up making a good total. Also Australians have lost only three wickets and this means they have players to hit the bowl hard at the depth.
Australians have already won the series 2-0 and all of those were easy wins for them. This win will make them a clean sweep on their home ground.

New Zealand won the toss and decided to bowl. The start looked good with two early wickets. Further Smith and Labuschagne have withstood the situation and started to develop partnership. The runrate is low, but they're on the stable scoring. At the end of 24 overs Australia have scored 73/2 which is good considering the early wickets of 16/2
It will be another low scoring game like the last one. After 25 over Australia are 81/2, smith and Labuschagne have partnership of 65 runs and they have turned the game in favour of Aus. If Aus can enter last 10 overs with 6 to 7 wickets in hands then they can easily score somewhere around 225 to 250.

I think the Australian team is going through a very bad time. And loose against Zimbabwe is also a proof of that. But now I think the pressure is little decrease they have won two out of three ODI matches with New Zealand. But today, Australia went into bat against New Zealand and managed to score only 19 runs in the first power play, with losing 2 wickets . This match is still not predictable but if New Zealand can continue like this then I think they will have more win probability in terms of match prediction.
In last ODI Aus scored 195 runs and still manage to win the game, thanks to batting of lower order starc, zampa and hazlewood. These three now only take the score to 195 but also manage to destroy the NZ batting lineup. Today Aus are 55/2 in 20 overs and it seems like it will be a low scoring game today.

I don't think that New Zealand could have performed this well, without the South African players. Imagine a New Zealand XI, without players such as Devon Conway, Glenn Phillips, Neil Wagner and Colin de Grandhomme. New Zealand is one of the major beneficiaries from the emigration of South African white players. Now with ECB abolishing the Kolpak system, these players are having fewer options and New Zealand may emerge as the first choice. And it is rumored that from 2024 onwards the ICC funds may go up by 3x to 4x. If that happens, then we can expect a larger scale migration of players to countries such as New Zealand and Australia.
