We have 5th match of women WC today between Bangladesh and New Zealand. Bangladesh scored 144 runs in 27 overs, match was limited to 27 overs. New Zealand chased the target quite easily in 20th over by losing just one wicket. Suzie Bates and Amelia are main performer from New Zealand side.
India beat Pakistan by 107 runs. I was so surprised and also disappointed by the performance of the Pakistan women's cricket team. Expected a much better performance from them. I think they started well but the middle order partnership of India took the match away from them and also the Pakistan batting was really unsatisfactory. They did not bat well at all and had a quite regular fall of wickets.
For me there was no surprise in this match, but I have one good thing as Pakistani bowlers done very good job because before start of this match I was expecting 300+ from Indian team, but they reduced to 244 which was very good job by Pakistani women but sadly in batting they struggle very badly and lost all wickets very cheaply but still it is very good from them and after this match these ladies still can feel good because Indian team is very experienced, and they have much better facilities and finances, but they still give them good fight hopefully this could be very good experience for them in near future and these ladies will have some better environment which will help them for better technique's and better skills which will help them for having better results in near future in this game.

I just checked the history of the women world cup and it is dominated by only two nations, England and Australia. Only these two nations have shared the trophy between them and only once NZ win the world cup. In this situation, both India and Pakistan stand no chance of winning the cup even though i guess that the indian team is better than the Pakistan women's team
When you checked the history you missed that India woman won the world cup three times along with England and Australia woman won twice just like New Zealand Woman and i was not aware of the history about who won the world cup until you said about the domination. So you cannot under estimate New Zealand and India along with England and Australia to win this years World Cup. South Asian Countries are the most male dominant, but still there are some good things happening around them but sadly BCCI is just going for money, and they are not encouraging this for women because they are feeling it's not profitable for them which is really poor mind set from them resources and things are surely favoring them, and they can do some revolutionary things for this all, but recently they rejected any project related to women. But good thing happening in neighboring country Pakistan where recently we have good announcement that PCB is working on WPSL most chances they will launch this in 2023, and it's really great news for women even there are many issues, but they are doing things for right direction.Hopefully, with this we will have some better and competitive things for women's in this region.
Pakistan has taken a really good initiative for women's cricket. And I actually think in Pakistan this will get quite good popularity. We all can agree that the BCCI is not going to take any steps because they are just too worried about the outcome. Probably this is the first cricket League that might get more popularity than IPL even though it's women's cricket. I am looking forward to seeing what will happen in 2023 regarding this case.

He sat and watched for quite a few minutes and then asked how long it was going to take and the answer was 5 days. He immediately banned cricket in his region because it was so time-consuming. I think this is a cooked up story, Adolf Hitler has to move to England or Australia to watch a match during his period and for that he needs to leave his country and move to a hostile country which i doubt he will be doing just to watch cricket. I just wanted to say that ICC needs to change some of the rules and there need to be big changes made to the ICC personnel. Only then will the game be spread worldwide. Pakistan team has won a warm up game against NZ, so it was expected that we have a tough match today but turns out to be one sided. Pakistan bowling was good and 244 was very much in reach but there batting from the start was struggling. It was an easy win for India women. Pakistan team was bowled out for 137 while chasing 244 runs target. The only Pakistan batsmen who scored some runs was Sidra Ameen, scored 30 runs. Rest of batting failed in front of top bowling from Rajeshwari Gayakwad who picked 4 wickets.

And compared to men's cricket, the popularity of women's cricket is always going to be low. Because those who understand cricket will agree with me that there are fewer skills involved in women's cricket compared to men's cricket.
It's understandable why this is happening but people will always look for the best things to see. And I think that's the reason why they are afraid to make such a link because they think they are not going to get the expected revenue.

As long as the German nationals are not included in the team, I won't call it a "German national cricket team". And the joke is that Germany had a team comprised of nationals around two decades back. That was when the ICC changed the eligibility criteria and destroyed cricket in smaller nations.
It's not only the case with Germany rather same is happening in UAE, Oman and Canada. Recently Nepal wasn't able to qualify for T20 WC as they lost to strong team of expat from UAE. Nepal is a team full of local people but wasn't able to qualify for any ICC event till date while team of expats from UAE Canada and Oman have played many times icc events.
Almost every South Asian cricket fan does not like women's cricket. The problem is the existing mindset of South Asians which is evident with the number of crowds within the stadium and also views generated by TV & Online viewership. I am not against women's cricket but they do not generate that kind of adrenaline rush as men's cricket generates. I will still skip an India vs Pakistan women cricket as it generates any interest.

The problem with the women's team of Bangladesh is they are not consistent and they have a lot of flaws in their game. And in this particular match, they lost the wickets at regular intervals. They could not form any partnership whatsoever. It actually shouldn't have been hard to win against a score like 208. But the lack of partnership from Bangladesh made it possible.
That might be a true story, because people find it weird to watch a game taking place for 5 days. For cricket fans this is interesting to watch, but not the others. Recently Germany cricket team is into the T20 qualifier. It has got placed on the last position of the group. This is early stage for Germany, and the team players were the immigrants from India, Afghanistan and Pakistan. So, this team might develop themselves good in the future.
