Pakistan's youths against Indian youth played very well and won. After a long time, Pakistan won against the young team of Indian. For some time Indian cricket is going bad time. Their national team performance and not very good. The players of this young group of India are very talented. They thought it would be defeated.

Yeah, these four are the full members in ICC and obviously will have stronger team in U19 level as well. Out of these four teams, I predict that Pakistan U19 might get chances to clinch this edition Asia cup U19 title.
Not to forget Afghanistan, they have strong ODI and T20I team. Cricket is as popular in Afghanistan as it is in India and Pakistan. Recent government change won't effect there team performance since they have lots of talent in there pool.

It happens. If I remember exactly in 2020 U19 world cup, India U19 lost to Bangladesh U19 in the final. I am seeing a big leap in Pakistan cricket in all format which means their new talents are getting lots of encouragement which simply reflected on U19 Asia cup as well.

Pakistanis are improving there team performance since that's the only way international cricket will come to Pakistan. If you have strong team then everyone wanna play with you. That's what new PCB chief is trying to do.

Pak and India from Group A while Bangladesh and SL from Group B are favorites for semis.

Pak U19 have record of winning against India U19, while national team of Pakistan has poor record against India in WC.

LOL.. so this will be like the second consecutive defeat for the Indian national side against Pakistan, in the ICC tournaments. A few months back they lost to Pakistan by 10 wickets during the T20 World Cup. India is still at 2nd spot in Group A and it looks very likely that they will reach the semi-finals. The next match for India is against Afghanistan and they should win that one easily given the recent performance of the Afghan U-19 side. In case they finish second in Group A, then their opponents in semis will be Bangladesh.

Pak and India from Group A while Bangladesh and SL from Group B are favorites for semis.  UAE team is full of players from South Asian,  I am doubtful about Kuwait.  Not much info is available about players of Kuwait on espncricinfo.com Are they also expats or native citizens ?

Sorry mate, it's Pakistan who won the match today. It was a low scoring game where India was bowled out for 237 in 49 overs. Zeeshan Zameer was the star bowler who took 5 wickets in today's game. Pakistan in reply manage to reach 238 on very last ball. It must be exciting to watch but I wasn't able to see it on any sports channel.

I am looking forward to watching another big match between India and Pakistan. This is not a national team match. Match between India and Pakistan under-19 team. But I think it will be as exciting as the national team match. Because these players will get a chance to play in the national team after a while if they can perform well. I think India will win this match. Because I have seen matches in India in the past. Indian youth have performed much better than Pakistani youth in past matches.

When the Afghanistan Under-19 team gave a target of only 196 runs, I thought maybe this time the youngsters of UAE will be able to win a match.
You know 196 was not a big target to cover up. I think UAE could have won this match if they could have stayed at the crease for 50 overs, But unfortunately, their starting was not so good. UAE just collected only 14 runs and lost 5 wickets. So much unlucky day! Bilal Sami took 3 wickets and Khalel Ahmed took 2 wickets. The result of the game was confirmed in the first 10 minutes.

It seems that the youth of Bangladesh will continue their winning streak. Kuwait won the toss and elected to bowl against Bangladesh. Bangladesh scored 245 runs in 41 overs. Although Bangladesh lost 7 wickets, Meherob is still at the crease with 41 runs off 20 balls. If Meherob can stay in the crease, Bangladesh will collect more than 300 today.

The match of IND19 and Pak19 is also being held now. India's collection in 46 overs 205/9. Pakistan has a chance to win.

Arabs have very different mentality. There is joke for them "If others can do a job why should I do that job, let me hire that person to do that job for me". Same is happening in there cricket team, they are happy to hire players from other countries and make a team. Money is not an issue for them. I feel pitty for ICC to remain helpless in all such issues.

The ICC is not helpless. They were the ones who changed the eligibility criteria, in order to allow this mockery. Previously only citizens were allowed to represent a particular country in international cricket. The ICC changed this eligibility criteria, due to strong pressure from the Emirates Cricket Board. Now almost anyone can represent a particular country and citizenship is not needed. This has in turn destroyed the popularity of cricket in countries outside the test nations, as the locals now associate cricket with foreigners.

Bangladesh's Under-19 team played against Nepal's Under-19 team today. Bangladesh scored 297 runs losing only 4 wickets. Prantik Nowrose Nabil scored 127 runs off 112 balls. Nepal lost all their wickets for just 143 runs. I do not understand why their national team is so weak despite having such strong and talented players with Bangladesh Board. We have seen before that the young players of Bangladesh have played great and won the Youth World Cup. But the same player is not able to play well in the national team. Bangladesh's board should be more careful about these players.
Defending champions Bangladesh start their campaign in the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup with a convincing victory over Nepal's U-19 team. A lot of expectations from Bangladesh, here they start in a good way. Overall, the young Tigers have been doing quite well, while the national team of Bangladesh is doing poorly. There are some players who cannot perform on the national stage due to the large amount of difficulty associated with reaching the national team and the management's inability to take proper care of all players. Bangladesh's board needs to pay special attention to these players.
I would say Bangladesh team is being destroyed by their board and national team coach. Otherwise, the players who performed well in the Under-19 World Cup, played well for different clubs in the country, why they can not play well in the national team? It is the coach's responsibility to make these players more experienced. Bangladesh coach Russell Domingue is destroying the country's cricket, while the condition of Bangladesh cricket is deteriorating due to some inexperienced and dishonest people in BCB. In a few days, the situation of the team will be like that of Zimbabwe.

Looks like I agree with you. Bangladesh cricket is being destroyed because of their internal strife. The coach's relationship with the senior players of the team is not good. Although the team has not improved in a long time, we have not seen any change in the board or management. Talented players are slowly getting lost. The board is not taking any steps to bring them back. The board has yet to find a replacement for senior players like Tamim, Shakib and Mushfiqur who will retired very soon. I am annoyed to see the matches of Bangladesh players and the strange activities of their board.

I feel there is a similar problem with the WI side and SL side. The performance of these two teams has also gone down drastically. New players are not that good enough as senior players. Coach for both the team has not done anything for the team and there is no proper coordination with the team. Board for both these team are just sitting idle and doing nothing.

Being born there doesn't mean anything. How can these players be loyal to the UAE, when they have citizenship of other countries. And it is not surprising that the Emirates Cricket Board has banned more than a dozen players in the recent times for match fixing. The only driver for these players is money, as they don't have any loyalty towards the team. I am OK with including stateless individuals in national teams. But foreign nationals should not be included at any cost. If so, the richer boards will just import players from test nations and create mercenary XIs.

I searched and found that UAE T20 team captain Ahmed Raza was born in Sharjah but still I am not sure whether he is citizen of UAE or an immigrant. If ICC cant do anything to stop this humiliation to cricket then team like Nepal and Malaysia will continue to suffer and we wont see new countries joining in.

It's just a sham. In no other sport this can be seen. They call themselves as the UAE national team, and didn't had a single citizen of UAE representing them. The same with several other teams like Kuwait and Oman. Foreigners playing for T20 franchises is OK, but how can a national team be entirely comprised of foreigners? That takes away the whole idea of "national cricket team". The end result is that more deserving teams like Nepal and Malaysia (which are entirely comprised of natives) lose out to these mercenary teams.

UAE opener Kai Smith played an innings of 45 runs. I have not seen any other batsman perform better than him. Countries like UAE and Oman hire players and add them to the national team. The ICC should make some rules in this regard. Otherwise such tendency will increase. Countries should pay more attention to their domestic players.

Not a single local player and 99% of players in UAE squad are Indians. UAE cricket association looks like big scam and joke to me. They along with Asian cricket council making mockery of Asia cup. Only valid reason of this quackery i can think of is, illegal satta market, that's it.

Not only in UAE, the whole gulf cricket teams compositions are like that. See Oman cricket team in last T20 WC coming up with all players from South Asia. If gulf countries have no interest in cricket then why ICC allowing them to make fun of cricket with such team composition.
Right now this is really poor from ACC and ICC but sadly no one can do anything in this case as they are having power and enjoying this luxury just for their gambling which is not helping cricket. If we have something good dignity they need some good things like UEFA as they are doing some very stick and good rules for fair play here also possible, but sadly no country want to do this, so we are having this crap all UAE, Kuwait and Oman already enjoying, and hopefully we will have some more in next few years if we have no solid and fair policy about this all.
