Good idea Gazeta. I have written to him here.

Okay, Porf!

Thought about it before, but doubted as this is something we don't always do, but I think that it can be a good practice from now on to make sure that the respective OPs are informed about our activity and agreed. At least, when the OPs are active in the forum.

Yes, and I share same opinion. So far, all other OPs were informed by our translations, thus they were aware of our work.

Besides all that, I am proudly presenting you the two Romanian translations for last two topics added to our "In Progress" section: Ambulanță - Campanie - Ucraina and [Tutorial] Kali NetHunter - Linux pe Android.

Porf, can you add these 2 translations to our post #2, please?

I agree with you Gazeta. Let's add them to the list of translations in progress.

Awesome! I will start working on both translations.

Other than that, I believe it would be recommended to announce also the OP of "Ambulance" topic that we are working on these translations... maybe he will add them to his thread as well.

Hello fam,

Im happy to announce I'm done translation of the [Eng: Tutorial] PGP Signature - Encrypt/Decrypt message (Linux Only) into our Local Pilipinas, hope this will be added to OP @Learn Bitcoin.

[Tagalog: Tutorial] PGP Signature - Encrypt/Decrypt message (Para sa Linux)

Translation added to the list. Thank you Peanutswar Wink

Speaking of DS, I was just about to suggest one of its topics for future translation  Smiley

From my perspective, this tutorial is also suitable to be translated. And, since it's not a long topic, I believe that both suggestions can be added to "In Progress" section. Last time we also had 2 topics at "In Progress" and, since they were not long, translating them 10 times each worked smooth, in my opinion (as of now we are waiting only for cygan's translations for having the second topic being finished as well). Therefore, if there are no objections for these 2 suggestions, maybe we can add them both.

I agree with you Gazeta. Let's add them to the list of translations in progress. Anyway, if someone still has any objection, let us know and we will reconsider it, especially in the case of the ambulances, although at this point I don't think there will be any problem.

Im happy to announce I'm done translation

Thank you for this, Peanutswar! This is the eighth translation for this topic. And, considering that cygan is working also for the German and Polish translations, it means this topic will be finished soon.

[Eng: Tutorial] Kali NetHunter - Linux on Android

The tuto is well constructed and I think that in my locale section it will interest members, let me know what you think about it.

+1 for Ambulance - Campaign - Ukraine which is a nice choice in my opinion

-snip- this will be the fourth topic proposed by him and accepted inside our group, reason for which I am congratulating him for coming with these good proposals (and I am thanking him at same time).

He is doing a great job suggesting new topics, indeed. Moreover, he made great suggestions in the form of our last voting too, and always answers in time or apologizes if he is a bit late for any reason. It is a real pleasure to work with him. Thank you DS Smiley

But taking into account the authority of the people who has merited it, and made comments in the English thread of the campaign above, I have good feelings about it.

This is also what I thought, when I saw the topic, dear Porf.

Let's see what other members who know more about the project have to say, but I have no qualms about translating it in case there are no reasonable doubts about the destination of donations.

I am accepting this suggestion made by DS. Also, if nobody will object, this will be the fourth topic proposed by him and accepted inside our group, reason for which I am congratulating him for coming with these good proposals (and I am thanking him at same time).

if anyone is interested in suggesting a topic for translation, don't hesitate to do it.
If I remember well, at some point DS sent me a PM, suggesting a topic to propose after finishing these ones... Unfortunately I don't have the PM anymore, but in case he sees this post, maybe he remembers what topic he had in mind at that moment. I honestly can't remember the topic... but I remember that I took a look at it and (without analyzing this deeply), I felt like it was suitable to be translated...

At same time, maybe until DS will show up with that topic (if he remembers it), maybe we will also receive the last needed translations for finishing the existing 2 topics from "In Progress" section.

Dear GB

As I have said before, my door will always be open for you. You can always PM me without any hesitation. And as for the topic, I went through our old PM's and found it. Here is the topic I was trying to suggest! Also, I would like to apologize for my late responses recently, I'm not much online these days. I hope you guys will understand, both GB & Porf.

Ambulance - Campaign - Ukraine

Note: I never verified the source or how the funds are being handled but the person in charge seems to have some good reputation/trust feedbacks. One of them is from 1miau. So if anyone wants to verify its legitimacy, they can do so (my personal opinion).

-DS Smiley

The original thread of the campaign you mentioned is in German, which makes it a bit hard to assess the legitimacy of the project: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ukraine-spenden-gesucht-fur-aufrechterhaltung-diverser-logistischer-transporte-5387906

so, now the polish translation of [Eng: Tutorial] PGP Signature - Encrypt/Decrypt message (Linux Only) is ready and can be found under the following link

Yay! Thank you for this effort, cygan! Now the Linux tutorial has 11 translations and it's finished!

Porf, when you will add cygan's Polish translation, please take a look at the German translation made by cygan... It is placed at the Fingerprint topic, instead of appearing at the Linux tutorial topic. It's misplaced.

New translation added and German translation moved to the right topic.

As we have already 11 translations, I'm moving it to the list of finished topics. We're definitely running out of tasks, for the first time since we created the Alliance. Gratz!

that leaves me with one more topic, which i will then translate into german and polish Smiley

If cygan will make these 2 translations as well, the Fingerprint tutorial will reach 9 translation. As a consequence, 1 more will be needed for finishing it.

The available languages in which it can be translated are only [ARA] [FIL] - so this should be in attention of Nalain420 / Kavelj22 and Peanutswar.

Dears,

The newly created Research Task Force is taking longer than expected to make a decision on new topic proposals, and after the Pizza event we are running out of tasks. Therefore, if anyone is interested in suggesting a topic for translation, don't hesitate to do it. Otherwise, I hope we can make a decision in the next few days.

I guess that's how they are spelt in pidgin.

Oh I understand... Thank you for explaining this to me.

Yea sorry for that, I guess I just missed those part before. I've already updated them now. Thanks

Awesome! I am glad I could help!

zasad@ and Buchi-88 confirmed me a few days ago that they will update their threads soon.

This is good news, Porf. I am glad that you managed to reach them. Now let's hope that gagux123, Yatsan, and LB will respond as well...

Also, If Im correct, @Ale88 and @Baofeng are no longer members of the AOBt, but their testimonials are still on the op

This is a good observation... those testimonials should be removed... And I may add, maybe Porf could collect some other testimonials from AOBTers which would like to offer their testimonials for our OP...?

Good observation indeed. Old testimonials removed.

Call to current AOBTers: let us know your testimonials to be added in the OP. Wink

-snip-

I will add, if I may, that I am also kindly asking the translators of our own AOBT thread to update their translations, for reflecting correctly the actual members of this group. The translations of our OP which are not updated are the ones made by gagux123, Buchi-88, Yatsan, Hatchy, LB and zasad@. This update should take only 5 or 10 minutes at most... it is not an exhaustive job, therefore I am kindly asking all translators to update their translations.

You are very welcome Smiley Also as a small note, I observed that in your translation you kept the English words for the languages (I mean that cygan appears as translator for "Polish & German", Porf appears as the translator for "Spanish" and so on). Are these the Pidgin words for all these languages...? Also the last two boxes contain this text: "Apply Now! Click here to know more"/ Here you also kept the English words... these should be translated as well, besides the names of the languages, unless Pidgin uses same words as English for these terms... I hope this helps.
I guess that's how they are spelt in pidgin. Pidgin originated from the British English so, it literally just have some words that have to remain in English as they dont have a defined way of writing. Pidgin is just a flow that anyone can write. we Nigerians and other Africans who speaks it, will understand the flow language any where. Just think of it like a broken way of writing in English, where punctuations or word patterns don't matter much. Wink

Also the last two boxes contain this text: "Apply Now! Click here to know more"/ Here you also kept the English words... these should be translated as well, besides the names of the languages, unless Pidgin uses same words as English for these terms... I hope this helps.
