Both lists of finished translations and in progress are now up to date with the remaining links. Thank you as always! at this pace we will need more proposals very soon. Let's see if the author of the topic mentioned above answers.

About pawel7777's topic it would be a great way to give him the recognition his initiative deserves, although I have doubts about our ability to keep it up to date in all local boards.

Translation of the article: Silent payments by witcher_sense

Great work, dear DrBeer! Two translations done at once, like a baws! Cheesy
Now our topic has 4 translations, thus we need only 6 for finishing this one too... Let's hope that, meanwhile, the author of the topic proposed by DS will reply to the PM, thus we'll also know what to do with that topic... maybe we can work on it after we'll finish this one. But, again, it's all depending on the author...

Here is my translation of pawel7777's topic

Thank you for this, zasad... but this topic wasn't in our to-do list... Smiley Nevertheless, it's good that the list of non-profit initiatives have more visibility now.

And this just gave me an idea -- perhaps, if the author of the topic proposed by DS will not reply to the PM, maybe we can translate pawel's topic after we finish the remaining 6 translations for witcher_sense's topic...?

Sorry DYING_S0UL brother , hearing this news was really saddening and shocking. A few months ago, similar case happened in Kyrgyzstan with Pakistani students who had gone there for study and a similar incident occurred there.

i finished the german translation today, which is now available here: [Anleitung] Kali NetHunter - Linux auf Android

Hooray! Now we remain with only one topic in progress, which is a short relief, after so many months while we struggled with multiple topics being in progress!
So far we translated 25 topics in 16.5 months, so we have an average of 1.5 topics/month. This is looking very good from my perspective Smiley

he is dead...

Number of casualties, already a few hundreds are wounded, some are fighting with death, some died while fighting and still counting.

I'm really sorry DYING_S0UL. Please, resist but also avoid putting yourself in danger.

I have shared your post in the Spanish local board to help spread your message, here. I also encourage other members to do the same and share the news. In black and white like Pandorak suggested, if you consider that the images are too shocking.

mindrust, can you please tell us what you think?

Please, let us know if you think that we can help anyhow. As for me, for the time being, I will contribute to spreading the news by translating your words in my local board.

With a heavy heart, I am writing these words to let the whole world know that recently, students in our universities in Bangladesh have been subjected to severe torture, harassment and attacks by government officials and student politicians, known as the "Chhatra League" while protesting against the quota system. We are in desperate need of help. The roads of Dhaka are awash with blood and horror. Members of the Chhatra League are attacking students on the orders of our tyrannical government. They have attacked defenseless and injured students of Dhaka University in the middle of the night. They have blocked the campus gates to prevent us from protesting against the quota system. The media, social media, internet and electricity supply are being controlled by this government. Police have fired tear gas and gunfire at students. Even women are being attacked mercilessly; there are even reports that Chhatra League members have entered women's dormitories with acid and committed rape. At least a few hundred people have been injured, and about 5-6 students have already died. The situation has created an atmosphere of fear and opposition, and many of us feel helpless to change it. The entire country is on fire. The government has already tried to make us look like villains by saying that we are "Razakar" , trying to turn the situation into a political issue. But I repeat, this has nothing to do with politics. We were peacefully protesting while we were attacked by them. We are fighting for our rights. But this tyrannical government and its followers are ambushing us from all directions. At this very moment we are actually dying in the hands of the oppressor...

Can you imagine, a country where 56% of government jobs are in the civil services reserved for children of freedom fighters, women, specific regions, disabled people and ethnic people. While we are left with only 44%, which is clearly a discrimination done by our quota system.

I cried while writing these words, I think I can't continue writing... I humbly ask the members of our local and international community to stand with the students by spreading this tragic news!

Last update: 200+ dead and 20,000+ said to be injured, the real number has not been revealed to everyone, the govt is trying to cover up everything. (26 July, 2024 -- Fri 3:27 AM)

Sorry for the late reply.

I was busy with some other stuff for a while.

I am not really active in my local forum so I don't know many people there. Recently my signature campaign has ended and till I find another one, I'll be focusing on translations again... The decision is yours ultimately. I don't know what to say.

Ok guys, let's share during the weekend our objections to the proposed topic and, if nobody disagrees, let's add it to the list of translations in progress starting next Monday.

The weekend is almost over and we have no objections so far... I think starting tomorrow we will have paid2's proposal in our "In Progress" list... Smiley

As nobody showed any objections, translation was added to the list. You can start translating it guys Smiley

As mindrust didn't answer, let's share our objections to inviting him as our new back-up translator.

I have no objections here and he also has a good feedback for his translations. I think it's good to have a back-up translator for each language so, from my perspective, we can add him.

As nobody showed any objections either and he has proven good feedback, let's add mela65 to the Hall of Fame as our new Turkish back-up translator Wink

Congratulations and welcome, mela65!!

mindrust, please, can you share with us the auto-update version of his stats?

I proudly announce that we have been included in the thread Non-Profit Forum Signatures Initiative Smiley

This is amazing news Porf! Oh wooow, I did not see that coming... I am very, very glad!

I noticed that some translators already wear our signature and I appreciate this a lot. At the moment, 4 of our translators wear our signature!

I didn't expect it either Shocked we must thank Pandorak for proposing us Kiss and our translators for wearing it, of course!
