I will add, if I may, that I am also kindly asking the translators of our own AOBT thread to update their translations, for reflecting correctly the actual members of this group. The translations of our OP which are not updated are the ones made by gagux123, Buchi-88, Yatsan, Hatchy, LB and zasad@. This update should take only 5 or 10 minutes at most... it is not an exhaustive job, therefore I am kindly asking all translators to update their translations.
Just updated mine, thanks @ GazetaBitcoin for the heads up. Also, If Im correct, @Ale88 and @Baofeng are no longer members of the AOBt, but their testimonials are still on the op
Quote
Ale88: Due to the nature of my job I’ve been translating emails and texts in 3 languages for more than 10 years.
Baofeng: "Be Your Filipino Translator" (BYFT)
I was wondering if @ Porfirii can check that out also.

As the two translations in progress will be finished very soon, the research task force will share in the next few days new proposals of topics to be translated

Looking forward for it!

but first of all, don't forget to update the topic about the Bitcoin Pizza Contest with the link to the voting.

Thank you for this update Porf!

It is Sunday and as I promised I have reviewed all topics and if I'm not wrong the following threads don't mention any link to the voting: Pidgin, Filipino, Ukrainian, Arabic and Pakistani.

SatoPrincess, Peanutswar, DrBeer, N.O and Adiljutt156, I think it would be very useful if you mentioned the link to the voting in your OPs or in a new post in the thread. Even theymos has added a link in the section of the forum under our avatars dedicated to News, and there are only a few days left until voting ends.

Thank you for the follow-up Porfirii,

[Botohan 2024] Araw ng Bitcoin Pizza sa Bitcointalk 🍕 is added to our local.

Other threads for translation will be follow this coming week.

I completed the translation into Portuguese of

Great job, r_victory! And I also noticed this, Portuguese is the second most active language for translations, after Spanish, having 21 translations in your language. Romanian and German also have 21 translations, while all the other languages have fewer translations. This was possible thanks to the efforts made by you and gagux123.

i've finally managed to finish the first of a total of 4 translations.

Great job again, dear cygan! also, please be aware that in this moment there is no need to make all the other 3 translations -- unless you really want to, of course. Both topics have already 9 translations, which means that 1 more translation is needed for both of them in order to be considered finished. This means that only a Polish translations would be needed for first thread and either one German or Polish translation for the second one. I know you are very dedicated and, most likely, you'll realize all 3 translations, but I wanted to let you know that only a smaller effort is needed though...

Your absence is justified cygan: you have been busy baking one of the best pizzas that have been submitted to the competition (really, congratulations!). Translation added to the list.
...

thank you for the kind words. i only hope that your statement will also be reflected in the votes of the best pizzas Grin

Count on it cygan Wink I'm taking my time to vote but I had already had my eye on your pizza and I had already planned to vote for it.

Guys, still two weeks to cast your votes, but don't do as I do and don't leave it to the last minute Grin

Edit:
I'm also working on these two translations, and as soon as I finish I'll post them here.

* I will complete the translation of the tutorial for Linux soon  Wink

I'm not s big fan of translating topics written by members of the Alliance (to avoid nepotism) but nobody doubts that in this case the exception was justified, LB. That's the content we should see more often in the forum, and deserves our attentions Smiley

Thank you, Porfirii.

Here is the link to the Bengali translation [বাংলা:টিউটোরিয়াল] পিজিপি স্বাক্ষর - লিনাক্স

Added! Thank you Learn Bitcoin. BTW, I think that the link inside your post is wrong (it points to the tutorial for windows). Please, check it and correct it if necessary.

i've finally managed to finish the first of a total of 4 translations.
the tutorial created by Learn Bitcoin: [Eng: Tutorial] PGP Signature - Encrypt/Decrypt message (Linux Only) can now be accessed here for all german-speaking users:
[Linux Anleitung] PGP Signature - Nachricht verschlüsseln/entschlüsseln

i hope i can now gradually deliver the remaining three translations... unfortunately i'm very pressed for time at the moment Tongue

Looks like we'll have nothing else to translate for some times. Almost all the topics are translated or close to. Good job everyone. We can now sit for a moment, take a deep breath and have a drink.  Grin

Cheers dear AOBT gang,
DS Wink

I have sent a PM to the Research Task Force, so enjoy the holiday because we will have new proposals very soon Cheesy

Well, here is the translation [PID: Tutorial] PGP Signature - Encrypt/Decrypt message (Linux Only).
Just posted it today since I was less busy and had time to review it. I'll be waiting for the next translation from our AOBT members. Good luck guys and happy Sunday  Grin
Please @Porfirii, do well to add my translation to the finished list

Your desire, my command, Hatchy Wink

Translation added. I hope you enjoyed the Sunday too.

Thank you, Porf, GazetaBitcoin, and others for picking my threads and translating them. To be honest, I never thought that I could be the author of a thread that deserves to be translated into the local boards of the forum. I am feeling great!

Hello AOBT, sorry for the delay. I've been really busy with personal stuffs off forum which have been taking so much of my time and still is. I had made the translation for the Linux version

Thank you for this translation, Hatchy! Now both topics get close to be finished Smiley

Here's one more update for the remaining translations:

First topic has 7 translations and, as a consequence, this topic will need 3 more translations:

Second topic has 7 translations, one more being in progress (Portuguese one). As a consequence, this topic will need 2 more translations:

In short, there are 9 possible remaining translations for these 2 topics, but only 5 are needed for marking them as finished.

Again, I did not mention the IDN translations for these topics, because Husna mentioned he already has a topic with such tutorials. Besides, paid2 and mindrust already stated they will not translate first topic, thus I did not mention French / Turkish as possible translations for that thread.

Dear AoBTers,

icopress has created the voting thread for the pizza contest. Please, make sure to update the link in your translations and/or mention it in the corresponding threads in your locals:

Voting will be open for 20 days from the moment of publication (today). Even those of you who did not participate, are encouraged to vote for your (up to 5!) favourite pizzas.

Hello Porfirii and other AOBT fellows,

When Bitcoin Pizza Day contest was held on Bitcointalk I translated topic into local board. This translation made Pakistani members aware of contest. Recently, I also completed translation of voting into Urdu.

Link of Translation:

Thank you for your efforts in raising awareness on this year's Bitcoin Pizza contest, Adiljutt156. We're not adding the voting posts to the list of translations, but thanks for sharing in any case.

Did you participate? if that's the case, good luck Wink I still have to go through the 100+ pizzas and pick my winners.

Dear Porf

I have completed my translation for this topic [ENG Tutorial] PGP Signature - Encrypt/Decrypt message - Fingerprint

Bangla Language:

This topic was by far the most challenging translation I have ever made. Not due to complex vocabulary, but because of its massive size and the presence of BBCodes. I had to divide it into two parts because of its size (I don't know how will you update OP, little confused). There were so many BBCodes that, I lost count of how many times I previewed, got lost, or felt confused about which part to edit. I had to scroll so many times so many pages that the mouse would have broken eventually. Man!! it was an difficult task, but I’m relieved to have successfully completed it after months of struggle.

-DS ✌️☮️

Congratulations dear DYING_S0UL, you have done a wonderful work Wink

It was also hard to me when I translated it because of the reasons you said, but I hope that this info will be valuable for many people, and also for you, because of the experience of having gone through it. And it is also provable, in case you need to show your portfolio with potential clients in the future.

Keep up the good work my friend.

As for how I'm going to update it, I'm adding it as BAN1/2 and BAN2/2. I think that this way there is no room for confusion.

I would like to come with a heads-up for the translations remaining to be done. I hope this helps.

-snip-

Thank you Gazeta! as always, bringing order to the bewilderment Smiley

Guys, don't forget to update your translations on the Pizza Day! I will be checking them soon...
