Your NMC address will start with a 'N'. It's not a Bitcoin address that you store namecoins in.

Download the namecoin client and create a new one, and then use that.

I still can't get this to work.  I'm on linux.  I downloaded the namecoin source, compiled it and generated an address.  I then signed with the same namecoin program from the shell and the sig still fails.  When verifying the same sig from the shell I get error: {"code":-5,"message":"Malformed base64 encoding"}.  Trying to figure out exactly what that means now..
You need to sign the message with your bitcoin client, making sure you use the same address as you are mining on Eligius with. You are only entering a namecoin address: you sign with your bitcoin address each time you make changes, regardless of whether you enter a namecoin address or not.

Finally got it to work.  Thanks for the help.

The website appears to be down at the moment... I cannot get to "http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/mystats.php"

Same. I called the pool hotline. It's 4AM Central time here. Hope someone is awake to fix it soon.

Why does the pool not pay out even I have over 0.04 btc ??
How Long does it take for the payout ??

The default payout value is 0.04194304 BTC.

It may be changed by going to http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/mystats.php, and following the instructions; but it may not be set lower than 0.01048576 BTC.
No big deal! It payed out. I was just in line for payout ... Sorry for asking to early. Everithign is fine!

Thanks for reporting!

Did anyone else have any problem connecting at 6:45? Some of my miners went into failover. Just curios if it was only me. Thanks

I seem to have continuous connection.  When I have such a question, I look at the mining stats of the top miners and see if they had troubles.

You were correct as always there was a drop off for everyone at that time frame. I bow to your superior intelligence.

oke thanks,

but still, how to sign with cryptsy or blockchain

Steps to do this:

1) Obtain a valid Namecoin address
2) Open up your Bitcoin wallet
3) Open up your Eligius preferences page
4) Paste your Namecoin address into the Eligius preferences page
5) Copy the generated message from the Eligius preferences page
6) Paste the message into your Bitcoin wallet for your normal Bitcoin address
7) Sign the message with your Bitcoin wallet
Cool Paste the resulting signature hash into the Eligius preferences page

So, to be clear: you have to generate the signature with your BITCOIN wallet in order to set up your NAMECOIN address.
