Electrum 2.5.4 works fine with Trezor. You have to initialize your Trezor using myTrezor.com first. After that if you want to use Electrum download 2.5.4 portable and save it in a folder on your desktop. I like the portable version for privacy because it does not write to %AppData%.

Connect your Trezor by USB then navigate to the folder you saved Electrum in and click on the application. Then choose create a new wallet and hardware wallet then click next. You will be give the option of Ledger, KeepKey or Trezor. Choose Trezor and click next and you should be good to go. Any hidden wallets you set up at myTrezor.com will also show in Electrum. I think people are trying to recreate wallets rather than creating new ones.

Those instructions looks nice and detailed. But what about someone who is using Linux?

Follow the instructions for Linux at https://electrum.org/#download if you run into a problem ThomasV would want to know, just ask in the Electum board here at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=98.0

I really like the CryptoLabs "Case" is very cool. The look is modern and its very small.
But iam still waiting for a smaller Price Wink

Anybody knows a lower Price ? Would be great to know Smiley

regards
lama-hunter

Should know soon. The first batch of 1000 Case wallets sold out so they may not reduce the price. I was told Batch 2 would go on sale in January.

This might help you, I am trying to setup a Trezor with Electrum but I can not get it to work. But what I have learned is you need to install Electrum fesh and select the option to setup a harware wallet. Electrum 2.5.4 only gives an option to setup a ledger wallet so this is what you need to install Electrum with the harware wallet  option then select ledger wallet, it is the only option. It is suprising how they do not have support for Trezor because Trezor does have much more of the market share.

Anyone has some reference where to find info, how to use Electrum with LEDGER WALLET NANO ?
What ever i try - all fails
There is some topic on reddit, abt HW.1 use, but all links there are dead. Not much use of it.

I had issues using my HW.1 with Electrum until the latest version of Electrum (2.5.4) came out. Now my Ledger works perfectly with my HW.1. What OS are you using? I'm using Windows 7 but also maintain a wallet on a virtual Ubuntu box. What are the specifics of the problem?

I use WIN 10 64 bit. Electrum 2.5.2
Maybe I should try 2.5.4 , even not much different from 2.5.2

First review of the Ledger Unplugged NFC contactless card wallet

Watched the second video which you made a transaction through mycelium and i am surprised how fast was it, i may order in upcoming weeks an unplugged ledger.

If you get one make sure to post how well it works with your model phone. I could make it work with my Nexus but I had to work at it.

Mine works great with my Nexus 6.

Ledger Blue Developer Edition

The Ledger Blue is a personal lightweight mobile device architectured around a ST31 secure element, featuring a touch screen and USB/NFC/BLE connectivity. This is a developer edition available in PRE ORDER with a delivery scheduled in late January 2016.

Main features
- ST31 Secure Element, STM32 MCU
- 320x480 touch screen
- BLE 4.1, NFC, USB 2.0 FS
- 500mA lithium ion rechargeable battery
- developer friendly: low level API (for embedded apps) and high level API (for client apps)

Main native apps:
- HD hardware wallet (BIP39, BIP32, BIP44), compatible with the Ledger Wallet Chrome app and upcoming Ledger Wallet Android & iOS app
- FIDO authentication (Hardware 2FA for Google, Github, Dropbox...)
- PGP tools

Example of apps to develop:
- Slack channel encryption (through the Chrome app)
- Keybase integration for in-device secure signature & encryption
- Trading & Financial orders second factor confirmations
- Blockchain apps (validation & confirmation of digital assets transactions)
- Passwords vault "master password" integration
- ...

Links
- Ledger Blue page on ledgerwallet.com
- Github repository (empty for now)
- Ledger Blue brochure, PDF format
- Video of Mycelium integration demonstration

The Ledger Blue Developer Edition is an early access unit which will be shipped late January 2016. It is intended for developers and enthousiasts only: the device will require numerous firmware updates and won't be delivered with an "out of box" onboarding. The casing will be most probably 3D printed and will therefore not match the quality and design of the definitive version.

We have already produced a dozen beta units and the hardware is fully validated. The production of the developer units is scheduled to be ready in January, and everything will be shipped from our factory in France where the Blue is assembled. We target a production release Q2 2016.

The price of the Developer Edition is 179 EUR (+ VAT if you are in Europe).

To pre-order a Ledger Blue Developer Edition (shipping late January 2016), please follow this link, add the Blue to the cart and checkout

I was quite interested in Unplugged until I realised my phone doesn't have NFC capabilities.
However my ledger nano works perfectly fine.
