Sorry if this has been asked already, can you explain the difference between the 3 versions?

1) Standard
2) Revised
3) Premium Revised

Also, any chance there are signed copies left?

The standard is most likely the soft-cover version. The 1st 100 were signed by the author and co-author. 25 of those were also signed by Mike Caldwell.

The Revised is the hard-cover.
The Premium Revised is the hard-cover, but with better print quality and pictures.

PM me if interested Cheesy

Are you still keeping track of coins?
I would like to find out how many of the ones I have are still unredeemed, but can't figure it out myself.

Which coins?

Pics or list?

What's the discount for forum members for the initial edition?
95$ is kinda pricey.

Well I was one of the first purchases of the initial book for around .48 which was around $100 at the time.  If you want I can throw you a 25% discount and will part with it for .35btc free worldwide shipping  Grin

The Stone the masons rejected was the cornerstone.

Not pricey considering it is the only encyclopedia on our hobby.

It is priceless for us collectors when it comes to referencing what is out there and how many were issued

You can try the free sample and judge for yourself.

I snapped one book up the minute I became aware of it and it has paid itself off by guiding me to making the right choice when buying.

What do you mean unredeemed? Go to www.uberbills.com to check the loading btc for your coins.

The Encyclopedia covers all the coins made in detail..it will not tell if your coin is still loaded or not.

Looking forward to seeing it  Smiley

Thanks bithalo. No timeline at this point unfortunately. As some of you know I have spent the past 6 months working on a startup project, so my attention is limited. I do however have some great people around me to help with the next edition.

With this I invite anyone with a serious interest (ie. wanting to commit 100+ hours) in research / writing / photos / etc. to contact me and perhaps you can participate in the creation of the next edition.

Star Wars Ep. 9 is here
ANNOUNCEMENT:

Bithalo, Matthew, minerjones, and myself have officially begun planning the next edition of the book. We are discussing a release in the NOV 2017 - FEB 2018 window. We are considering options like expanding the book to include crypto-related art in general. Suggestions are welcome. please include minerjones in all related PM's to me.

ADDITIONAL PLUG:
I have launched a new business, which may be of interest to some of you, your children/family members, or connections. I have begun working as a freelance agent matching native English-speakers with teaching jobs in China (where I am currently living). You do not need experience, just any degree. You can save 12k-40k USD per year in such a job, working 15-35 hours per week. Anyone can message me for info, or apply directly on my website: www.westkey.org/recruitment

W00t, I just noticed im a 'Legendary' member! Also, thanks HabBear!

Do you guys have a release date already for the next edition of the book, or is that still far far away?
bavicrypto.

I won’t be very involved in the project this time, however I did submit a list of the new coins to those involved to add since the last edition.  I believe it will mainly be handled by Habbear, krogo and minerjones.  Elianite can discuss as well.  I don’t have a timeline at this point.

Your last post was back in January (April now), and so I was wondering if you still had any autographed hard cover copies left?  Also, any new revisions in the works for 2017?

Cheers,
Jeff

You should contact minerjones for purchasing a new copy.  He should have a few AE hardcovers left.  I also have spare sets of labels that one could add to a regular hardcopy to make a similar item.  See my signature.

With regards to the next edition, we are discussing whether to make another a new version for 2017.  It depends on the demand.

There are a lot of new coins for 2017 (released and still unreleased) so I think there will be quite a demand for a new version. I would be interested in one if pricing is not too steep.

Story Time!

Back in April, wheresmycoin ordered a First Print edition of my softcover. Regrettably, it was lost in the mail.

So I did the obvious thing; I sent him a replacement and came to Singapore to sign it myself!

World class customer service!

He also showed me the coolest physical coin ive ever seen! check it out at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1561362.0;all

btw, I have like three or four hardcover Autographs Edition books left Wink
