Well, that's normal. This is the simple competition among the different currencies on the market.
It doesn't matter, because it is the way of marketing for some new ICO. They show some negative adds about Bitcoin to show that they have better option for them . They know this is the way for them to attract common people, if they compare their project with the king of crypto currency, they should have more probability for them to pick up the market.this is the reason for them for joking.
Well, it happens with every good innovation out there. Wright brothers were mocked when they were trying to build an aeroplane, the same thing has happened with Alexander Bell while he was working to invent the telephone. We should focus our 100% attention on working on building what we see and that will make the difference down the road.
I think the token is very influential on bitcoin, because the token is pegged to bitcoin. But if the bitcoin price goes up, then it will not impact the token. If the token price goes up, it will have an impact on bitcoin.

They might seem to be joking on tv and on the media landscape but these guys are business men and are jovially marketing and denigrating bitcoin at the same time.
These new projects have different ways to promote their coins. Some also of course will try to praise bitcoin because sometimes when it is mentioned it also means a lot in the whole crypto market. And most of these projects are accepting bitcoins in their crowdsales.
I think, you do not have to bother bother, Promotions of this kind is pretty good. ICO is doing this kind of thing just to attract and get more investors. However, if you are a wise and intelligent bitcoiner, you will not be easy to believe in this kind of advertising.

I saw the same types of a tweet about 15 Days ago. One ICO admin was telling that "bitcoin wasn't this value when they began. It was like a foul coin! So, you may trust us, because we have the same vision like bitcoin, and by your support, we can be the next bitcoin " I just shocked by seeing that, one project owner or admin, how can be childish like this, what types promotion it is. I don't know, I just comment There, a big LOL! And then I unfollow that account.

i dont think that they are joking anymore. If they said that they did not believe on bitcoin then than it is true. right now most of the population were still blinded by the light, they seem to to be posoined by these fakes claims and statements that discourage the use of bitcoin. I hope that these kind of people will soon to regret if ever bitcoin can become a succesful coin and dominante the whole payment mediums and currencies.

In recent times, some new ICO companies have been kidding about Bitcoin on Twitter, Facebook for their ICO promotion. I think this promotion way is very negative for Bitcoin. They showed that Bitcoin will be destroyed and their token will become number one. They have presented it in such a way that the price of Bitcoin will not rise anymore. I think this type of promotion is very negative in the market.

I think it's quite normal, because no one would say that their products are bad, and so are ICO, and they would say that bitcoin is expensive to transfer, and it's very slow, otherwise their project.
