You are already monitoring exchange rates for the coin switcher, so that simplifies doing an internal coin exchange :}

I like the idea if it could be done directly on WP for the coins the pool is mining and thus avoid transaction fees both for you and the WP miner

I just discovered something interesting.
KTK (KryptKoin) is a Pure PoS coin using wafflepool and nicehash to mine BTC on "their pool" and buy KTK coins on exchanges .
They have already added wafflepool X13 to "their pool"
which is nothing more than a frontend to multipools LOL.
Quite a strategy, buy KTK with BTC earned on waffle at a low and then miners dump them back on market at a higher price ... scam coin IMO.

There have been quite a few different pools doing things like this (its pretty obvious server side with hundreds of connections from a single proxy IP).
One thing thats still on my list is to allow payouts in whatever currency people want, and was debating taking their "easier" approach and setting up a side service (different domain, but "affiliated" with WP for trust purposes) that would take the address you want to be paid in (and the currency) and give you an auto-convert BTC address that you could mine from WP.
For example, you go to the site, select:
I want to paid in [currency], my [currency] address is: [address].
The site gives you a new BTC address that takes any amount sent to it, forwards it to an exchange, converts to the currency you want, and sends the resulting amount to your original currency address.
Its an easy way to allow for mining to different currencies (doesn't take as long), but unfortunately still goes currency -> btc -> currency. Where if it was done on WP itself, we could potentially avoid the 2x conversions.

Multipool.us has added Fractalcoin to their stable of X11.
Trademybit has added MAIAcoin to their stable of X15.
I'm mining this and difficulty has skyrocketed at least I got in at Launch PoW will be over in about 2 weeks or so.

Thanks, my X11 hash rate is similar to yours on 3.12, but... went ahead and jumped to the 14.4 Catalyst version of PiMP 1.5.5 (the PiMP beta with the 14.6 Catalyst refuses to startup... hangs on some tty access error).

Still working on it. Unfortunately isn't the easiest of coins. Requires a 2.5% payout to the donation address (was causing problems in testing), so it needs implemented in multiple places. Gotta add it to the stratum server (so it actually pays the donation address), gotta add it to the profit switcher (so it takes that 2.5% into account when choosing which coins to mine), and needs to be taken into account when we find a block (so we only process the portion that comes to us, not the whole block). Just gunna take a bit longer to get setup, and was the only thing holding up X13 launch, so the easy answer is to release without it, and work on it on the side.

You are comparing apples to oranges LOL. X11 and X13 are different algo. X13 is a bit slower than X11. You have not posted what your configs are, what sgminer version, what catalyst version.
This makes it hard to take any credence from your post. Many successes with the bin and postings in the testing thread.

I tried 4 GPU threads, alternative Shaders settings (though I thought with TC you don't need shaders), different Engine and Memory settings...but so far they all had a negative effect versus what I have above (HW Errors, GPU's going SICK, or just plain lower hashrate).
And to bring this back to relevency for this thread.. yes, I'm trying out the X13 beta on Wafflepool.

Not to butt in, but isn't that more or less normal? I was expecting to see about 30% less hashrate on x13 vs. x11.
Maybe the numbers people were quoting on the linked thread skewed the perspective a bit... some people were getting 2600-2800 with 7950s and that bin file.
I'm seeing just under 2.7 Mh/s per 7950, my config & setup is posted over there. You probably have a little headroom somewhere.
