I do nothing with the old chain, they can do nothing with it.
The mainpower is backed in the app, site, marketing and everything, and thats in the new blockchain.
The old chain will be forgotten so that's not the problem, but we need to let the new chain fly.
Everybody, put ur miners to the new chain (like on etn.nanopool.org)!

I'm also wondering why the difficulty is going slightly higher with every block we find... shouldn't it go lower since the block took a longer time to be mined? I guess there are some moving averages taken into account which is why the Electroneum team said they need help with the first 27 blocks, maybe that's how long it takes for the blockchain to adjust into the average times of the last blocks.
But still.... block 307499 was at 96.6kkk diff. and now we're at 178.6kkk !! Let's hope that the whatever patch the team issued will be inserted into the pools and help fix the issue. The problem is not so much the diff. as it's the rejection of mined blocks for some technical reason I have not understood. Nanopool and Spacepools have this patch so let's support either of them.

The ETN team needs to moderate their greediness a little and buy nicehash power to find these 27 blocks for their money and give themselves a bonus for finding these blocks for more than 4 hours.

These miners who mine and just dump are going to have that big story they tell their grandkids.

This is not so, when the blocks was found and the pool tries to get confirmation from the blockchain, it gets an error.
I do not see any confirmation of the block at all. No mistakes

And before u say this read my comment, nanopool added the fix, i also told that ETN was helping, but ETN was helping at the time we had this bug so all blocks get rejected during there hashpower rent.
Now it should be fine on nanopool, but the hashrate is much much lower now so we need the hashes again, well that's how i understand it.
look at etn.nanopool.org they added the fix from ETN.

It is incredible that the difficulty is going higher after each block... The price of ETN did decrease and the network is slower. I don't know how the difficulty is calculated.
With my Nvidia GTX 1080, i can only mine 1 ETN per day at the current difficulty. But let's continue to mine it until the network is normalized.

Yeah its sad, i got 1 payout on nanopool; 2.4etn with an R9 290 tri-x (oké probably its faster then ur 1080 on cryptonight, still a shame).
I just keep mining but it's a waste of everything what i am doing right now.
This is also the last thing i will do for this coin, if it's not fixed in 1 week i'm gone here. I see the biggest miner also just left (with 2-4Mh/s is gone / ~4,000,000.0 H/s) on nanopool.
They needed 2-3 months for testing an update, and they release an update with a big big bug. That's just stupid, while in the meantime they where using there own asics on there own coin.
ETN Team helped to get this high diff, so it's up to them to get the diff lower also.
For now i will keep mining, but if people are leaving it only get harder, in the meantime ETN does nothing to help us, we are all helping for this coin but 0 hashes from ETN themself?

it took 27 hours to find 307501, ETN block bounty cuts off at 5 hours, so is this miner out of luck for any bonus? how will that work because I'm not sure any of the next 25 blocks will be found in less than a 5 hour window, especially if difficulty retargets based on average hashrate of the past 360 blocks.

The mined block wasn't a regular block. See that in block explorer (https://blockexplorer.electroneum.com/) the block 307501 was mined 6 hours ago, and it has only one transaction on it. Yesterday we had over 4,000 transactions in the queue to be processed in the blockchain.
I checked couple hours ago, the mempool had about 5,000 transactions pending, and now it has only 404 (https://blockexplorer.electroneum.com/txpool). Since we hadn't any block in this period, I suppose the 5,000 transactions pending where canceled.
I think we are talking about different things. I was questioning the mining bonus the ETN team is offering for the first 26 post form blocks.
