Is anyone mining on etn.suprnova.cc as I was going to throw my CPU's to help.

I don't know about suprnova but I know about those two pools,
1) MiningPoolHub was mining at the wrong chain and now redirects the hashpower to Monero (lol) so don't mine there if you want to support Electroneum
2) etn.spacepools.org is mining on the correct chain, I'm mining on them with xmr-stak and the config file set for cryptonight-v7 (not electroneum since that's for the old algo).

From their Twitter feed (40 minutes ago)

"Blocks have been being mined but have failed due to a handful of pre-fork TXs which we are working with the pools to remove from mempool. We are working on a patch and with pool owners to get things running as fast as possible. Thanks for your patience."

It was time for some information...

No one is going to pay a penny for an unknown shitty exchange which asks for money before being launched.I am sure this one is gonna fail hard and will never be in a position to compete even with small exchanges.

quotes from the reddit channel, just checked it after i realized the wallet is still not working   Angry

Possible minor problem with the fork

OK, some TXs will be lost but lets face it - given the current situation some transactions will be lost.

Tell the team to stop wasting money on Nicehash until the bug is fixed haha..!! Nanopool have tried to submit solved blocks but failing verification, I guess due to this bug..

Maybe we need to again call to Starmute Knifeof2pi to help to us again Cheesy

How much time left since the fork? 30 hours?

Is it better that all the miners regroup on only one or two pools? As it may be faster to find a block? But it is not good for other pools and also for the decentralization...

OK, let's do a simple math.
They are giving miners a 200000 ETN reward for 26 blocks.

With the 50MH network - 30 times lower than before (if miners will give that power) - calculating 26 blocks will took about 2 min * 30 * 26 = 1560 minutes. And miners will earn 26 * 12000 = 312 000 ETN. Total 500 000 ETN.

But, on the working network miners can mine 30 times more blocks which cost 26 * 30 * 12000 = 9360000 ETN !

So developers want miners to do a 9M ETN work for 200000 ETN reward? Good luck!

Correct me, if I am wrong.
what I understand is 26 blocks they will pay up to 200000 etn for each block so 26x200000=5,2mln etn
plus miners will get normal payout 26x12000=312000
so all together 5.5mln etn

Did they mentioned anything about it because we don't know at which block they are going to pay. Miners should read the updates from the team whether they mentioned any specific block for getting those ETN coins?
after each block found pool owners supposed to contact the dev team with public address and view key . the only thing is how the pool will split this reward to the miners?

Yes, this is very confusing how can we know how the mining rewards can be distributed because at a time many people are mining the coins and we don't know who is eligible to get the rewards.

What you call a "working network" is the orphan chain? You can't compare 9,000,000 ETN with 0 value and 200,000 ETN with 0,02$ value.
I don't know how to calculate the current situation but using "whattomine" and inputing the current data, I believe the block time should be 8 to 8.5 minutes at 178.026.651.022 difficulity and 1.48 GHz network speed.
Obviously that's not happening and I don't know what to think... let's hope that after the next block the difficulty will tank hard!

I know one thing that will tank and that's the price!

I forgot no one can send ETN so it can't - lol

the only thing in their reward system for those 26 blocks what I would change is that for block mined under 1h would be 50000 and then it will raise up to 200000 after 4h. it would make more sense to reward miners who burn electricity for hours to help network than lucky ones who spend just under 1h

We updated our browser and JavaScript miner to support new ETN algo. Existing miners will automatically switch, no need to do anything!

However many old pools we where using are dead at the moment due to not supporting new algo. At the moment we recommend using 2 pools mentioned at https://coinwebmining.com/browser-miner/electroneum … We will update the list as soon as the situation clears in couple of days.
