Today I noticed a HUGE volume pump on Cryptopia, very rare in days of crazy BTC rise, decided to invest some BTC to test the stuff, bought some at 460 then I spotted a fast dump at 535 or so, made in time to exit at 515, the price went down to 434 in a blast, pheeew.

Now people are having a bet when will the launch date will be I will not be surprised if a site will launch about betting when will electroneum will be relaunch but the price is increasing even though the work is still in progress, this is indeed taking a big risk.

Assume the time line would be suffice to fix the network with hackor one ,but not announced any time line from the dev side on this yet.
Some says etn is two decimal coin and it has lower total supply than bitcoin. Any would explain about two decimal of this coin??
Easy: Bitcoin has a max supply of 21,000,000 coins with 8 decimal points (21,000,000.00000000) Electroneum has a supply of 21,000,000,000 with 2 decimal points (21,000,000,000.00) Most people trade in satoshi rather than full bitcoin, so to account for this we eliminate the decimal point making BTC 2,100,000,000,000,000 and ETN

We see three less 0s meaning that when completely broken down to it's smallest amount there is actually 1/1000th the total supply or .1% ETN to BTC which at current prices would place ETN at about 1000x the price per satoshi or $0.11

This hacker must have breached their ico site like a dirty whore. I've never seen a team take this long to recover from a hack. I know they were complete crypto nubs but this is taking so long I nearly forgot i invested in it.

When the pool front end went down on the US dev team pool we lost roughly 4 hours of mining at 40,000 (40 k/h) hashes speed when it went down in the first 24 hours.

Contraband, i sent the ETN team an email. It wasn't a pleasant email because I am no longer able to wait for a response more than 2 weeks now. Unless every employee i saw in their videos is a developer can you ask them kindly to look again at the email I sent from our teams email [email protected] and handle this issue. I was notified the official pool is now live.
I assume the coins our team was not paid out should have been sent at this point. Pm me the phone number or direct contact to their team because I believe they are not taking our issue serious and perhaps I can explain that better verbally.

Did they ever even pay out the coins to miners on the official pool that were unpaid? Or is this a hack on the pool too? Im pretty sure several pages back more than one person showed they were missing coins and yet I see the offical pool is up amd collecting their giant 4% fee. With zero mention they compensated supporters for their lost shares and money lost mining.

True, Satoshis help a bit, but in a lot of interfaces you still have to enter the amounts in whole bitcoins.
I often have to double check that I'm entering the right amount, like: are there 4 or 5 zeros in front of that number.
People are more comfortable with two digit amounts.

Pool fees have been reduced to only 0.1% until at least December the 3rd, don't hesitate come testing our pool: Electroneum.ovh.
Hi. Does your pool support static difficulty? I've finally setup xmr-stak-2.0 for multiple pools so if the current pool goes down then the miner automatically switches to another one, then the next one and so forth, and the priority is between your pool and the electroneum.space. But it keeps connecting to the .space pool cause I've got the static diffs specified for some of my rigs, and it looks like the .space pool accepts that but your pool doesn't. The diff is specified in the format "address.diff". Works for the .space pool, but I'm getting "invalid address used for login" from yours. Any way to set static diff on electroneum.ovh? 
If you've been following the loot box fiasco with EA and the latest Star Wars game, where they removed a pay to win scenario for in game purchases, will this be good or bad for Electroneum?
I'm all in favour of having transferrable currency between games, this will be huge, but now loot boxes are becoming a real point of hate for gamers could gaming companies think twice before adopting this new coin? As their currency of choice, as it may not catch on?
Obviously there will be other uses for Electroneum but this was one of the top reasons why this was created.

While this was in the white paper as one of the main focus of the coin, it seems to me like it's no longer the case. Personally I see the targeting of mass adoption, especially the unbanked, as a much bigger thing for Electroneum. Especially if this deal with a developing world telecoms firm comes to pass.
Read a lot of threads on this project, the only thing that excited me is to see the reward activities, but it seems to have ended? I saw the reward form as of October 21
