There is nothing to defend, Rashford must put to the market to reduce the salary budget because he is a one player who have huge salary on old Trafford. Amorim's steps are correct, and must be supported by management for the refreshment of the squad. there are many substitutions for him, or if Amorim really want to recruit another player to replace Rashford, Gyokeres is one attacker who suitable for his scheme. He's not good also in the hands of a new coach of Sporting, he is no longer sharp when not trained by amorim, so here's a chance to calling him to old Trafford on January windows transfer.

I have been hearing these rumours since the first days when Amorim came to the team, and now, since ten Hag has spent a lot of money on transfers that have not brought any results, Amorim could be given a condition that if he wants to get money for new transfers, he needs to decide which players he is ready to sell. Rashford is a good forward, but he does not show consistency, which for a high-level forward should be a mandatory feature. I did not want Rashford to leave Manchester United, this club has been his dream since childhood.

Rashford as not be doing well since before Erik Ten Hag leave the club is performance as be weak he didn't help the club and making the fans unhappy with him, since they have get new coach to the club. i think he can know the best decision to take against him or they should take him to loan and bring new player to the club that is more better then him in the club. But am just thinking that he will be very hard for Manchester United to sell Rashford because they know what he can do he can probably come back to is best.

Every one knows how Rashford achieved trophys for Manchester United because he is a key player for Manchester United and performing great and making him first eleven of the team and Erik believe in him and I am sure Rashford will come back to is fit and perform well and make the fans proud of him very soon, because I am hearing many fans and pleading that they should sell Rashford because they are not seeing is improvement in the club anymore. Let see what decision Amorim will took against him after the window is open.

Actually, ten Hag and Amorim have quite significant differences in becoming coaches at Man United. At least it is about the way of communication and also tactics. Communication, maybe this seems simple, but as a coach, this is very important, establishing good communication between the coach and the players is very important in order to create a sense of solidity, closeness, and also discipline for the players under the coach.

Then when it comes to tactics, they also seem quite different. The tactics are also quite different, at least, Amorim's favorite formation is 3-4-2-1. But yes, Amorim still has to be able to adjust the training style and tactics as well as various new policies from Amorim which may require more adaptation. so it will not be easy for Amorim to start his career at Man United to be that influential.
It is common for a new coach to bring a new approach to the team he coaches including strategy and various other things. Establishing good relationships and mutual trust between coaches and players is something that will encourage good team performance. It is also necessary to strive for a passionate dressing room atmosphere, of course this is an equally important part in building good cooperation between players and coaches.

Ruben Amorin, with his capacity, certainly has differences with Ten Hag. I tend to see Amorim as a more ambitious trainer than Ten Hag, but this doesn't mean Ten Hag is bad at everything. Ten Hag was good in some parts, but he failed to reach the team's targets as expected.

I don't see any player in Manchester United's squad who is capable of consistently performing well. Ten Hag spent a lot of money to buy Hojlund and Antony at high prices. But Manchester United doesn't get better performances than these two players.

I think Manchester United should give Amorim enough funds to buy players. If Amorim can't buy players according to his own preferences, Manchester United will not be able to strengthen their squad. However, Manchester United have a lot of players in their squad. Manchester United should sell some players in their squad before buying new players.

I can name a few that can perform consistently. Bruno Fernandez regardless of his age, Amad Diallo, Mazaraoui  and Andrea Onana. Rasmus Hojlund has been seen thriving as well, but can't say for Antony.
They have to sell players like Marcus Rashford,  Antony,  Eriksen,  Casemiro,  maybe Diego Dalot, Harry Maguire,  Johnny Evans and Garnacho. They'll be open to seeing most of these players leave and I'll be most happy.

There will always be different views and or assessments but the point is, it would be good for Manchester United to give Amorim the opportunity to select players for his plan. Thus, selling and buying players in the upcoming transfer market will indeed be a good opportunity for Amorim to build a team according to his plan. Because at least, if Amorim has had the opportunity to buy players according to his own choice, then of course it will be a proof of the results, whether Amorim will really be the right manager or Manchester United will still experience failure with bad results.

I am almost sure that Amorim will be unwavering in matters of discipline, so whoever does not accept their conditions will simply leave the team. I have always seen a rebellious spirit in Rashford, so I can imagine that such a player may have problems with Amorim.

I have always said that there is a big difference between a coach and a manager. While the coach is so much interested about the football and the result that comes there in, a manager has a much larger work than a coach. I expect the new Manchester United coach to be a manager and not only a coach. The formation and the salary structure of Manchester United is one of the things that are making them not to be productive. I do not understand why someone like rashford cannot leave the club and I do not also count him as a world class player. Yet these players go home weekly with world class salaries. These are lazy set of players and if Amorim doesn't change them, they will change him.

If we act fairly towards Amorim, I think it would be the best decision, and maybe it will be, but with the condition that in order to get money, Amorim will first have to sell the players that it does not need and then it will be able to buy the players that it does need. Chelsea and Arsenal have also invested a lot of money in their teams, over time it has brought results, I believe that for Manchester United it is also possible, but for now I am not sure whether Amorim is a top coach.

Rashford is in top 3 as for biggest salaries at Manchester United. He isn't worth paying £19.5m for a year considering his poor performances generally.  Sad  So I agree with Amorim that he should be sold. But I wonder what Jim Ratcliffe is thinking also. If he doesn't want to lose Rashford then it is a problem. I hope he isn't just another bad chairman.

Manchester United should absolutely sign the right players. They have spent so much maybe but spending efficiently is the most important. I hope Amorim can do a good job with that to rebuild this great club.

As for Gyökeres, there would be other top clubs going after him too. They would have a hard work there.

I don't think the manager has anything to do with what's paid to these players. If you had said something about their attitude both on andoff the pitch, discipline, commitment and mentality,  I'd have agreed with you truthfully. Ruben Amorim has nothing to do with what Marcus Rashford is been paid. I have always said this thing about Marcus Rashford,  he should be sold. He has literally nothing to offer Manchester United. That guy has seen more managers sacked than trophies won,no?

In modern football, the coach will have a dual position manager as well, so he can manage the money to buy or sell the players. I think on MU also, I just remember that Ferguson era, he is the manager and coach also and allow him to manage money club. I don't know now, has it been since the owner changed manager and coach have separated, or still concurrently?. because this is very influential on the performance team, a manager should be able to manage the money on the transfer market, so he can freely to choose who is the best player to recruit or to sell it.
If Man United new owners do not dare to entrust the manager with a dual role, the management must comply with the coach's wishes to bring in players according to his wishes. This is very important to do, the coach has a very strong instinct for the players he will bring in, especially if they have worked together at previous clubs. In my opinion, Manchester United are in a transition period with Amorim. The coach needs financial support to form a squad that has strong chemistry with him.

The earlier the club sorts out the issue behind the team's latest ill performance the better it will be for them to return back being one of the most competitive top teams in the Premier League. Every now and then we keep wondering what really is the cause of the team's poor performance, from Ten Hag being sacked which on my own radar he wasn't the faulty engine in the team, the players really had lots of opportunities but missed so many of them and it landed them bad on the table. Over to Ruud who succeeded in playing four consecutive games without losing any of them and we nearly had a change in thoughts if it was really coming from the coach and the players are perfect until Amorim had the permanent coaching job and the players begin to slag again, the possession from today's game really tells how dominating they were in the game but still yet struggled on the victory.

United squad really needs to be filtered, in other for a maximum performance certain players needs to be left out, a few on my list should be Rashford, Dalot, Mount and some more including the newly signed Antony and Zirkzee, they really have not been a great help to the team.

After losing points in a few consecutive matches, Arsenal won their last two matches against West Ham and Manchester United. After winning this match, we thought that Arsenal was back on track. Now, perhaps this team will fight for the title again. But we were wrong. Arsenal stumbled again in today's match against Fulham. Arsenal failed to win the away match against Fulham.

Arsenal dominated the match. Arsenal players tried hard to score. But Fulham was very tactical in this match. Fulham took the lead by scoring a goal in just 11 minutes of the match. And even then, Fulham played poorly defensively. They did not try to score any more goals. Fulham players were able to make only 2 shots in the entire match. Fulham's target was to end the match 1-0 or 1-1. And they were able to get 1 point from the match.
Fulham football team did good struggle against Arsenal football team because that team did 1 goal in this match and that is excellent effort by that team because Arsenal team is one of the top team of this tournament because that team has 29 points on points table and that team has third position on the table. The rank of Fulham football team is very low but players of that team did good effort. Audience watched good match because both teams did excellent effort and match was not one sided.Jiménez because successful to do goal in this match and he did goal at 11 minutes and that was too early but after that, team of Fulham could not defend in this match and Saliba did second goal of match and score was level .
Fulham was fortunate to get a draw while to Arsenal it was an unfortunate one. The gunners constantly shows why they really need a good striker in almost every game especially the ones ending with a draw or a win this season. If only Mikel Arteta was actully reasonable to get a striker during the earlier transfer window before this season did kick start things will be much more better them now.

I think Arsenal will continue to have some ups and downs this season, which we may call inconsistency just like we did notice in the past seasons, although they getting a better striker will more likely limit the inconsistency in their games. Though I think if Mikel Arteta can not win a significant trophy this season, then he may likely be facing pressure for keeping his job next season, after all he has been backed this whole time by the club.

The draw obtained by both teams seems like a very fair result for Fulham and Arsenal. Because after all Fulham knows that Arsenal in the match will not be too serious because after that Arsenal will appear in the UCL. So Arteta maintains the physical condition of the main players who must appear normally without maximizing the performance of the players. I am sure if Arsenal perform optimally, Fulham will definitely concede a greater number of goals and Arsenal will win. On the one hand Fulham really wants to try to get points even though it's only 1 point but for Fulham it's a good result to try to catch up with the top 5 positions in the standings.

New rumours regarding Amorim's plans for Man United resurfaced today.
Media are reporting that United's star, Marcus Rashford, is no longer considered as "unsellable" and some other outlets outright speculate on Amorim wanting to get rid of him, citing his lifestyle and off-the-pitch distractions:

I'm not a big fan of Rashford, but if he is to go away, United needs to find a proper replacement.

Evan Ferguson is already on Manchester United's radar if Amorim doesn't want to use Marcus Rashford's services. When I saw on my twitter feed that Evan Ferguson was a recruitment target that Manchester United would do, for me it was good because Ferguson is still 20 years old but already has good statistics as a striker. In my opinion, that's good because apart from his young age with good statistics, he is also currently playing in the Premier League so he won't have difficulties like the current Manchester United strikers who were recruited from outside the Premier League.

I'm not surprised with such decision though.  Tongue  Because Rashford was already really inconsistent. I don't know about his life style much but his performance is surely not good enough in general. He isn't an untouchable player at the moment. I agree with Amorim about this action if the source is reliable. He can surely be replaced by a much better and consistent LW.

Manchester United has spent tons of money so far you know. Many transfers turned out to be a flop unfortunately. I hope to see Amorim taking the right steps for the team to make them stand up finally.
Rashford was only good in his first season, then he's been a liability ever since. His price has been sinking coz horrendous performance consistently shown by him. I remember the last time PSG sent MU an offer for him, but i dunno whether PSG still has interest in him.

They bought him for 100 million, and his price is declining by more than a half. None would buy him if Manchester United still priced him expensively.

Manchester City are really drowning in the Premier League these days.  Sad  If you haven't heard their number of breaches has gone up to 130 recently as well.

https://www.givemesport.com/why-man-city-facing-130-charges-breaching-premier-league-rules/

The result of this big case is expected no earlier than the first months of 2025. They are dealing with a horrible form too on one hand. it isn't difficult to understand how bad situation Guardiola is in now.

Do you think they will still manage to make a comeback from this? This time I started to believe it won't happen. There are really interesting examples in the past of course but I believe this isn't happening again.

With this case, I personally will start to doubt Manchester City even though Pep Guardiola is still in the Manchester City coaching chair. But anyway, it seems, as far as I know so far Pep Guardiola has never been faced with club problems like now, which seems like it will be very complicated for Pep Guardiola to make Manchester City rise. Because at least,  when a team has a lot of problems, it will very often have a very bad impact on the team's performance from time to time. But yes, if the punishment is only about fines, maybe Manchester City can still fix it, but if the punishment is about point deductions and the worst thing is relegating the club, then it will take a long time  for them to be able to rise again.

Manchester City is seriously facing hard times with their performances, and with the way things are going right now, I don’t think they will get back to form anytime soon, even though, as you said, Pep Guardiola is a very talented coach, and he knows what he is doing. I’m thinking that he has already found it difficult to fix the club back to form this season.

I don’t know about next season, but I have started having that feeling that Manchester City will not get what they want this season because of the way their performance is going. Maybe Guardiola should start preparing for next season to be good for him and the team, but right now Manchester City is experiencing hard times.
It is a big challenge for the manager, when the team performs well then no one highlights the manager's contribution but when the same team under that manager performs poorly in some matches but that manager's criticism is the most. The Manchester City manager is quite capable but none of his tactics seem to be working as Manchester City is becoming a failed team on a regular basis. Losing against strong teams was normal but now Manchester City are regularly losing against opponents no matter how tough or weak that opponent is.
