Actually in that match Ipswich was a better side than Manchester united and they had deserved to win the game but unfortunately had to settle down with a draw. Base on stats they were better at shots on expected goals but they wasted almost all chances. It was really an intensed match especially for the red devils which means the strategy of the new coach and the players haven't blend yet.
But however, I think I have to agree with you on this about the players performance which would really need some changes in the team with some players having to leave the club as one of the remedy for the new coach to start getting progressive results with less struggles on winning matches especially against weak teams.
It was hard to believe that Amorim is capable of achieving any other results without changes. Although a change of coach often leads to the players behaving more enthusiastically on the field. Well, a miracle did not happen, he has a difficult job ahead of him, actually I did not expect anything else, I think that we will be able to see changes after the winter transfer window, when he takes several players from Sporting to Manchester United, and until then he will be looking for which players are suitable for further work with him.
When Amorim came into Manchester united and immediately won 3 or 4 matches in a row, many of us here were praising him and saying finally, Manchester united now have a very good coach who will revive the club, I was of the opinion that he should be given time before we all start praising him, but some of us didn't actually buy into that.
It's like one user said that the draw against ipswich is not actually a draw on Manchester united, but feels more like a lost game on them, and this is because of all, ipswich is still considered a very weak club with not much talented players, it was expected that their game with Manchester united should be an easy win for man united, but unfortunately, even with an early goal, they still could not score another goals, and later on conceded an equalizer goal..
Anyways, I completely with you, lets see the decisions the new coach will be making during the transfer window, and let's see how the man united team will improve afterwards.
