Manchester City won, what a strange event.
Not so sweet win thinking about on how Liverpool destroyed for 5-0 West Ham.

Many games still have to be played in this turn but nothing and noone seems able to stop them.
Arsenal and Chelasea must win tomorrow and now they are under big pressure.

Compared to Liverpool, Manchester City are not even close at the moment, so their results are not even worth comparing, besides, Leicester are near the relegation zone, MC should have won with a big score, but I think this is enough to start that would interrupt the series of failures, hopefully in the new year they will improve. However, if you look at the statistics of the match, Manchester City still didn't play very well, so it's too early to talk about improvements

Really surprised that Manchester city won today and they kept a clean sheet. It's really been a long time we have seen city win and keep a clean sheet in a premier league game this season. I knew Liverpool were going to win Westham, but I didn't expect the goals will get to 5 without Westham replying despite the fact that they were playing from home. The surprising result for me today was Nottingham forest winning Everton at away. Everton that played draws with three big teams in the premier league, were won by Nottingham forest team, that's really surprising. Nottingham forest have moved to second position in the premier League. What if Nottingham forest are title contenders, can they really provide real competition for Liverpool in the title race? Nobody saw this coming from a Nottingham forest team. The premier League is really crazy this season. Can Nottingham forest repeat what Leicester city did in 2016?
No, Nottingham won't be able to do it because Liverpool leads the standings with so many points gap. Nottingham are not expected to be strong throughout the season and over time they may lose their consistency and drop below the Champions League places. I think it makes sense and Arsenal and Chelsea and Manchester City take over. But you are right, this season the Premier League is really different.

Manchester United is not about to fire a manager they just recently hired, so he is good until the season ends, no matter what the results are, I mean if they are not going down, then he is keeping his job until the summer.
Manchester United can’t even think about sacking their coach now, a coach which they just signed a few weeks ago, and everyone knows that Amorim is a talented coach, just that he hasn’t gotten things right yet, and Manchester United fans are looking for a fast result, that’s why some of them are already complaining about his performance, and some of them are asking him to switch the pattern that he is making use of.

Even Manchester United management knows that Amorim is not their problem for now, Manchester United's current problem is their players, so I am sure Amorim will be getting quality players during the transfer window, and he will be selling off some players in Manchester United currently.

If Amorim doesn’t sign players, then he will also end up being sacked, just the way Ten Hag was sacked, because I don’t think there will be serious changes in Manchester United’s performance if there are no changes in the players, so I am sure Amorim's current target will be to get some players.

Salah had a great performance against West Ham. He finished the match with 1 goal and 2 assists. He made great assists to Diego Jota and Gakpo. According to a statistic I saw after the match, he is the 10th player with the most assists in Premier League history. Moreover, he did this by playing far fewer games than the other players on the list. If Liverpool don't renew his contract at the end of the season, it will be a huge loss for Liverpool. Salah can continue his career at elite level for a few more seasons. But I don't think Liverpool can produce the same offensive efficiency without Salah.

Manchester United is not about to fire a manager they just recently hired, so he is good until the season ends, no matter what the results are, I mean if they are not going down, then he is keeping his job until the summer. What he is going to do this season will decide if he is going to end up with next season or not though. If he finishes the season terrible then he could end up getting fired and so far he is looking quite terrible, so that means unless they get a bit better, then we are not going to see him keep his job.

This is quite troublesome when you think about it, because then it would be harder for them to find someone else too, and it would be hard for them to keep Amorim after a bad season too, so they are going to make a bad decision no matter what happens.
Actually, who is to blame for Manchester United's poor performance since Alex Ferguson retired, is it the players or the coach?
Manchester United's glory days in the Premier League have long ended and they are having difficulty getting back up despite changing so many coaches. I think this team needs to be completely overhauled, from management to players.

I think they need to do that so that this team isn't shackled by the same system for a long time. They should have been owned by new owners last season, but there was no agreement between the two parties which ultimately left Manchester United unchanged. This season they have hired a new coach, but the team's performance is not quite up to par as expected.

If they will be patient with Amorim, there is no doubt it will be fine with the team but you should understand that Manchester United fans have gone through a lot this season so the expectation is that  the coming of Ruben Amorim will change the situation completely but instead of that to happen, it seems Manchester United is situation remains the same as they were during the time of Erik Ten Hag. I won't say that change of coach failed them because Amorim is relatively new in the team and deserve more time to prove himself.
I think Amorim needs to be given a little more time to adapt and the club management should allocate a budget for player shopping in this transfer market. Of course it is difficult for Amorim to implement his tactics if the players United have do not match the type he wants. Amorim is a coach who can utilize existing resources but in some situations I think to see the maximum capacity of Amorim the club management needs to give Amorim the opportunity to shop for players. So far Amorim's performance has been quite poor. Despite winning over City, Manchester United lost to other teams such as Wolves and AFC Bournemouth.

Even if you are right about that, but I don't believe Liverpool will lose their best form in the second half of the season. Liverpool haven't had any problems so far and they seem to easily finish match after match with wins, even today Liverpool are leading 0-3 in the first half.
With the way Liverpool has been performing this season, I don’t think Liverpool's performance will be dropping. They have been playing well, and they are winning all their matches. Liverpool played against West Ham today, and they humiliated West Ham. Liverpool were able to secure five goals in the match, and Liverpool is ready to destroy any club that comes their way. I am not really expecting Liverpool's performance to drop now, and Liverpool is increasing their point gap, they don’t want any club to be closer to them.

Manchester City may no longer have any hope of retaining their title when the points gap is too wide, but they cannot be complacent without providing competition, at least trying to qualify for the Champions League next season. Many people expect Manchester City to fail this season, of course because they don't want just one team to dominate the title for 5 consecutive seasons.
Manchester City is currently in 5th position with 31 points, and Liverpool, which is in first position, is ahead of Liverpool with 14 points, and Liverpool is still having an outstanding match to play. I think this point gap will just be difficult for Manchester City to cover up because Liverpool is also doing everything possible to keep on getting their three points every week, and Manchester City performance has not been so good.

This Liverpool team puts a smile on me whenever I watch them...their football just flaws and at the moment so many attacking options and I don't think a couple of injuries that will be coming will slow them down! Gapko has found his form at the right time and this guarantees his start with the other 10...can't wait to see them demolish Utd Grin

The hammers just got hammered 🔨  by 5 answered goals  by ruthless Liverpool and I don't think they will let this title race slip them...GG to the new Champs Cool

Last season was a tough one for Moises Caicedo under Mauricio Pochettino I must say, but life under Enzo Maresca has indeed made him flourished like the player I originally watched when he was still a player for Brighton. He has been my best player so far this season for Chelsea even though I'm also a huge fan of Cole Palmer. I see a lot of disrespect channeled towards him game after game but indeed he is the engine for them. He reminds me of Ngolo Kante I must say.

Every season always we see competitive competition happening in the English league, so before the league is really almost over we can't be sure who the team will be the be championship, even like the last few seasons where the title determination is precisely determined by the last match in league, currently Liverpool has the advantage of being in the front position of the other teams, but does that guarantee they can win the title at the end of the season?
Of course not, because however often after January we will see many teams rise and can change the position in the English league standings, as well as Liverpool who also have no guarantee they will still appear consistent and strong until end osf season later, if we look at the experiences that occur in league there is still a possibility if  half-season championship will fail to win at the end season, and that has also happened to Liverpool last 2018/19 season.

Let's take a quick survey on that goal that was later ruled offside.. y'all seen how he managed to dip the ball right in-between the keeper's legs?NUTMEG !! Question is, would that have been the best goal for the season if it counted?
I mean, Ipswich played a premier league game in that stadium for the first time -- to arsenal, they really needed to win. The persistence, the pressure, it pays to put in the work. I haven't heard much of an activity from harvets Kai Havertz ever since he joined arsenal but ofcourse, he was the reason for the celebration!.
I saw the goal Gabriel Jesus scored against Ipswich Town and was very surprised as well as disappointed when it was ruled out for an offside. The Brazilian is undoubtedly one of the most talented attackers in the Arsenal squad which was why I wasn't happy during the times he was struggling in front of goals. Happy to see that he's back and performing impressively again.
Kai Havertz is a good attacking midfielder who also plays in the top 9 position but I don't think he'll be able to bench Gabriel Jesus at the moment because of the current form of the Brazilian

The only difference I see now is Liverpool not having a genuine contender this year, before it was a scary thing to have Manchester city on your tail but right now Chelsea who are second aren’t ripe yet for the league title and Arsenal are not just it this season, so could a free ride for Liverpool especially if Sallah form stays like this

Everything seems to be like that, personally I would say that things with Liverpool are going well for them, but in the PL you can't be too confident, remember what happened last season when City came back and got to first place, and that was something impressive, then in the PL it is a league where nothing is certain, you just have to keep playing and winning as much as you can, City right now is doing badly, but when they recover they will enter like lions, they have already shown it several times and this time they can.

Today's game marked the 19th games for the Premier League side and there are about more 19 games to go again, it still not time to disregard the ability of other clubs, Chelsea and Arsenal, if Liverpool play and win their remaining two matches, and Arsenal and Chelsea play theirs and win too, Now the point gap between league leaders, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea will be 9 and 8 points respectively, meaning it requires Liverpool to lose 3 game for Arsenal and Chelsea to catch up with them, inside the remaining 19 games and remember these teams still have each other to face in the second leg games.

They're going to win a first game in Premier League after a long time since a win against Nottingham Forest. They are leading Leicester City with two goal difference and the match is going to very last injured minutes. Haaland scored a first goal for Manchester City after many bad matches too. Result is good for them, but their performance in this match against Leicester City, a weak opponent, is not too convincing.

Manchester City need more improvements to return to top four and to have a more stable good form. With this win, they can have another start to end their crisis.
Finally, Manchester City won today, they have ended the deadlock of winless games in their last five matches, they performed really well today against  Leicester City, even though Leicester City dominated the the match, Manchester City were able to solve their defensive errors and maintained the lead until the end, unlike other games where they will be leading by one goal and they will have some defensive errors that will lead them to a draw.
I Manchester City will be able to keep it up because they have some easy games to win in order to regain back their strength and be competitive again.

If they also use this January transfer window well, they can add more defenders to strengthen their squad.

It's another week to help Liverpool moving to their finish with Premier League trophy in this season. I really don't see any strong competitor that can stop and beat Liverpool in this season. Win against Liverpool in a match, it's possible but win against this team in a long season to take Premier League title, it's impossible.

Liverpool are very strong and stable with their performances so far and no signals of performance decrease. There is no big hope and good chance for other clubs to beat Liverpool.

Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
Arsenal game is close the the end.
they are winning for 1-0 at 2 minutes at the end.
These points will be a massive gain over chelase if they can win.
They will be at 6 points from Liverpool but 1 more game played so a potential of -9

The criticism against Ruben Amorim should stop. He has squad, that looks ridiculous. Almost half of Manchester United's players should be sold or sacked. Rashford, Fernandes, Eriksen, Antoni, Zirkzee, etc. The list goes on and on. I know that Amorim doesn't have any experience in the English football and the Premier League is way different than the Portuguese league, but the United fans have to be patient. It seems that nobody could stop Liverpool from winning the Premier League and the battle for the second place between Chelsea and Arsenal is going to be furious. City and United are going to be the two big failures and the laughing stock of the Premier League, but I'm sure that they will get out of the crisis, sooner or later.
You can't use the excuse of Amorim's lack of experience in the Premier League in his defense, this is his shortcoming that should have been addressed before signing him. The squad is quite weak, it's true, and in the transfer window he will try to change this, and if after that nothing changes and Manchester United continue to lose, then it will be clear that Amorim is powerless to change anything. So far the results are very bad, I hoped that Amorim could change something, at least improve the defense, but everything remains as before.
