FA Cup final is today! but where's the hype? where's the excitement?  Grin

anyway, I've added this match to a small multi which also has another league cup final (benfica - porto)

the most important game of the season for the Gunners, and chelsea are ready to ruin the party, surely we're gonna see some goals from each side, right?
Almost forget it! 3 hours 30 minutes to go Smiley
Well I think there will be many goals as you said and there will be magic 3 goals scored or received by Chelsea Grin

I feel like there is this money and talent comes together normally. If you spend a lot of money, you are going to get very talented players, and when you have very talented players you should be good in your country but you should be good in champions league as well. The trouble with teams who are built with money is the fact that they are either together for too little versus other teams who have been playing for a long time which makes a difference.

Moreover, you can spend as much money as you want but in reality if the manager and the strategy is not good enough that means you may not be using and utilizing the players very well and that means you could lose. So, all together money could bring you international success, but after spending that money you need a good manager a good tactic and some time to play together.

I really feel for Newcastle fans. They are living in hell with Ashley, and he's living in a part of it as well since he really does not want to have anything to do with the club anymore.

They were close to getting new owners a few times already and this withdrawal will hurt them. They were already dreaming of good players and some stability at last and now they will probably be in another tough relegation battle.
Today I was reading on some site that Ashley is still hopefull for this deal as he is trying his best to leave this and have his money but most chances now this deal is not going to completed but sources saying back door diplomacy is still going on between these two parties and they will announces in next few days what is going to happen.

You can still win the championship. Leicester and Atletico Madrid have proven it. But in the Champions League, money comes first. But money without a smart coach and manager may not help much.
I even think the opposite way ..

It's much easier to win trophies in domestic championship rather with the money in hands rather than international championship like Europa League or Champions League.
Manchester City and PSG both struggling to get this trophy no matter how much money they have spent , it's really competitive especially there's real madrid who undoubtedly have been there spending a lot of money every year building their empire and been stable financially for ages.
This canceled newcastle takeover thing just saved the whole modern football from a disaster , yeah it's safe to say things could be crazy with the king of all arab money acquired premier league team... no more fun when money wins everything

Lol @ Newcastle, some people just aren’t meant to have nice things. To he honest I’ve had enough of crap clubs who never compete for trophies being bought by billionaires & all of a sudden being able to win the league.
Well that's the irony of modern football..
Where there's a money there's a trophy otherwise it's only miracle just like what Leicester city did 5 years ago.

Name it .. a club who won trophies without splash out a lot of money? They are practicing it and getting bold thesedays.
We are all indeed laughing at Newcastle now who has wondering to bring de Bruyne in.
Poor Newcastle.

Remember when Newcastle fans were talking about signing Coutinho and a bunch of other high profile players? LOL  Grin

That was another shocking news and disappointing one for the Newcastle fans as they have been so exciting during these couple months of the takeover rumor.

Well at least i heard that another billionaire are ready to make a higher bid to buy Newcastle and henry mauriss leading the race ..
The rumor has it that henry mauriss the American TV tycoon’s offer is being used to discredit the Saudi Arabia-led takeover.

This full of political shit.

Edit: Cardiff is now in lead 1 - 2 so one more goal from Cardiff and Fulham in deep trouble.

yeah, they had a whole second half, but missed to score fourth goal, both sides, and Fulham is in the play-off final, will be interesting to see how Brentford will take this match, but Fulham is a bit closer to Premier league at the moment, IMO

Fulham and Cardiff are playing today for a play-off final spot, with Fulham in much better position, 2:0 from the first match, and Cardiff will have to provide much more effort to even come to position that can challenge Fulham spot in the final

i will put my money on o3.5, think that Cardiff will play offensively tonight, that is their only chance
Not sure about your choice with odds around 3.xx by betting o3.5, Cardiff is not very good against Fulham and also, H2H of their matches clearly Fulham is very dominating and although Cardiff is able to play offensively but I think it is difficult to make more goals in this match.
Look like its a good decsion by @casperBGD  becasue I was also expecting few goals in this match as Fulham is already in good lead and Cardiff will try their best for place in final so few goals can came after end of first half we have 1 - 1 hopefully in second half surely we will have some more goals from both teams.

That's a pretty good news. Mr chainsaw apparently get pissed seeing his wanna be team losing barely all its matches after the pause so he decided to cut them the deal and withdraw from this mess. Good!

C'mon, we want a london derby in the final!
The dream! i think it's happening!  Tongue

Fulham won comfortably in the 1st leg so Cardiff are forced to score today, so maybe they'll leave some open spaces in the back and The Cottagers will capitalize on that? Well, winning and a few goals it is then: https://i.ibb.co/PF4MbqZ/vfdd.png

''Brentford overturned a first-leg deficit to beat Swansea City 3-2 on aggregate and book their spot in the Championship play-off final at Wembley.''

Brentford seem to have recovered relatively quickly from the shocking end of the Championship and have now come one step closer to promotion to a higher ranking competition.
Honestly, I'm glad for them and I wish them success.
They already had everything in their hands and a lot of misfortune.

Well that still remains to be seen and since I didn't watch the match I can't say this for sure, but here is what I think.

Brentford had a great run towards the end of the season and then chocked in matches where it matter the most.

They won today and that will help their morale, but next match is the most important match and they could choke again easily while Fulham has that experience of promoting in there genes.

So let's wait and see, I would be happy for Brentford personally, but my bet is on Fulham.

It was a bad call but legal action will not bring anything good to Bournemouth. It is a completely pointless thing to do and it will only cost them money and time.

Exactly. The fact that it didn't happen in the final game makes any protest even more irrelevant. Villa were clearly playing for a draw in the final game, because a draw was all they needed at the time. If that extra point that Bournemouth are complaining about had come into play, then Villa would have needed a win - and so would have played for a win.

Bournemouth were unlucky, but they can't suggest that a different decision means they wouldn't have been relegated. Mistakes happen in football, whether its refereeing or VAR. Luck is a factor. The idea is that mistakes and luck should average out over time. Complaining about it now makes it look like sour grapes, and casts Bournemouth in a bad light.

I'd rather they remained in the league than Aston Villa, but eventually the ones that got relegated are the ones that deserved it most.
They were good at times and will probably be able to keep most of their team so they might be back soon enough.
This action will not definitely be heard as its a waste of time. Every clubs were prepared to complete 38 games, but it's all there fault. If Bournemouth succeed in this then every relegated club would possibly do the same thing as this would bring chaos in the English premier league. Its not a good step to take, accept defeat and move on, they have good players as well that can play better at championship division.
