I like Auby as well but dude is such a great player to be just playing for a team that won FA cup and that's it, and they were horrible in premier league as well, so there is really no reason to keep him, they should definitely look to sell him for a lot of money if they can and improve the strength of the squad overall.

Having one amazing player and not so much amazing other players makes the team suck, if you however sell Auby and get like 3-4 decent players instead you could rebuild a lot better for your future. Auby also deserves to be playing on a team like Barcelona, Madrid, PSG, liverpool or whatever levels, I know those teams may not need him right now but if he could play at a top level team like that he could make a huge change and could actually show his real talent.

Well for starters they got Mourinho at half way into the league and that wasn't really enough time for a coach to teach his tactics and strategy to a new team, secondly he didn't build the team, so his tactics and the teams talents didn't really overlapped that much hence why I think it could be a trouble for the results, and then they have lost Kane for a very long time as well, on top of that there was pandemic break but that was to every team obviously.

So all in all, Spurs actually did pretty well considering all things that happened, I would say it is usually not this common for teams to get back on the horse this easily, but they have managed to be good again. After this years transfer window and them getting players Mourinho wants and spending more time with his strategy, the team will eventually become a much better team.

I'm super excited with the fact that Arsenal won the FA cup this year and my bet won, Auba is a great striker, I wish Arsenal would not sell him if a huge offer comes in place. Arteta first major cup, I'm glad we sacked Emery, if he was the one in charge Arsenal could have lost the game

Good for you guys. Spurs here with nothing to show for the season right after we got to the Champions League final haha, so again Arsenal came out on top in London but next season will be another chance for us. All respect to Aubameyeng but he stays for the money or he goes if the money is not good enough. Good job in FA cup, it loves Arsenal for sure.

This season is a lesson for Spurs, I'm sure for next season Mourinho has a strategy that can make Spurs much better from this season,
so Mourinho was nicknamed it as a special one. Although Arsenal won the FA cup, it was still under the Spurs in Premier League table.
It proves spurs have a slightly better quality than Arsenal. Regarding Aubameyang it is very difficult to maintain it next season.

Disappointing for a blues fan.

Yeah truly, they were all going well but couple of injuries slowly drifted match towards Arsenal. Anyway Arsenal did well to make a comeback and I really enjoyed watching the FA Cup final. I loved the way Giroud assisted Pulisic and then Aubameyang fake and chip. Oh, lovely..

Chelsea were dominating the time before the drinks break in first half but it all changed after then it was all Arsenal.

Very disappointing result for Chelsea community.
They scored early - this was all they need in order to capture the cup.
After scoring they had to play conservatively and do not allow Arsenal to attack. In my opinion, Lampard failed in terms of strategy due to his inexperience in such games.

most ppl here forgot about this match or simply didn't care since it was a london derby, and there's no love here for clubs in London, only manchester and liverpool  =P
Stats say otherwise: Arsenal’s FA Cup final win vs Chelsea smashes record for most-watched match this season with 8.2MILLION BBC viewers

I hate it when "big clubs" treat Europa League as second rate competition.
You have a point but it's a perfect competition for testing some of their talented youngsters with a mixture of players from their reserve team.

Who has the word on the new season? will it be back to the old format of weekly games?
Still nothing [AFAIK]. Here are some of the changes so far: The Premier League rule change ...

Arsneal is the shadow that covers everything. Nothing goes the right way in this club. And this cup can only... ...hurt them.
How can winning a cup, hurt a team?

Disappointing for a blues fan.

But I am glad we got the table place we needed.

So far I only saw the start date.

Can't we say it was rigged game?  Cheesy
4th disgrace game after the Barcelona vs Chelsea match in the champions league back in 2009. Shameful match.

Ah forget it we lost the game anyway .. that's the only fact we should accept.
Well done arsenal. Well done arteta.
It's just unfortunate for lampard to get 2 injured key players and 1 controversial red card.

Big task for chelsea next season : to spend millions in defenders especially a goalkeeper.

It was actually quite good to see Arsenal win this year as well, whenever they feel down and not playing their best that season they end up putting their energy towards FA cup to make a change and that shows as well, now they are going to Europe as well as far as I know the rules so that is going to help them a ton both financially and also the way they can attract talent as well if they can because who wouldn't want to play in a premier league team that goes to Europe games as well that is a great chance, you may not get superstar names but you can definitely get a decent team together.

Arteta really showed that he could be something as well, I see a great future with him and considering he is Spanish, he could lead Madrid or Barcelona in the future if he plays his cards right.

Same with me, happy with the FA Cup results because my bet was right by choosing Arsenal. There is no doubt that Arsenal must defend
Aubameyang for next season. Arteta's ability to lead Arsenal increasingly looks better, several strong teams defeated by Arsenal. I agree
that if Emery leads the way, Arsenal will not necessarily win the FA cup this year.

<...> Was it a good game? Seems like so-so from the stats and big chances.
i didn't watch it but a london derby like this one often provides good entertainment so i'm sure it was a decent match

@Mcobian the problem with Emery was that he failed to unite Arsenal player’s, and on the other hand Arteta immediately worked on improving his relations with the squad, and that was a key difference between these two managers. @tomahawk9 initially it felt like Chelsea were going to win it, but then Aubameyang decided to step up and change the game and win the trophy for his club.

Well, we have one last game worth watching in English football this season and that is the Championship final between Fulham and Brentford at Wembley Stadium next Tuesday. Anyone cares about this match? I do, and i'll be backing The Bees, i'm bored of watching Fulham in the top flight, we need fresh blood  Cheesy
You are right we need some new faces in Premier League but its not easy match for any team as Bees doing very good in last few matches and they are capable of beating Fulham but surely this is going to be very interesting match as Fulham is also not easy opponent hopefully we will have Bees as I am also feeling good for them.

Though on Wolves they are perfect team for Europa League. Just big enough to take it with max seriousness and get a good result. I hate it when "big clubs" treat Europa League as second rate competition.

I didn't forget about the game but was unable to watch. Been driving for the last 6 hours and just got home. I was happy to see that both scored since I had that on my ticket for high stake. Was it a good game? Seems like so-so from the stats and big chances.
Wolves are good indeed, they had a chance this time so better to pick it!
Just picked few moments in that game so don't know how they performed but I recommend you to see the 2nd Arsenal goal by Aubameyang. That guy humiliated Chelsea while the score was 1-1 lol.

Arsenal qualified to Europa, meaning that Wolveerhampton will not go to Europa League next season (they needed a Chelsea win so that the europa league spot would go to 7th place). This also means that Spurs will go to the Europa League qualifying round

So, Arteta won silverware and got the team into the Europa League, this was supposed to be their shittiest season ever guys, what happened?  Grin

Almost forget it! 3 hours 30 minutes to go Smiley

I feel like the entertainment about the premier league doesn't really reflect into FA cup, I have no idea if there is viewership numbers of them and so forth, but if you check how much the  games are watched in premier league and how much the FA cup is watched, I can bet that FA cup is definitely lower. As a foreigner who likes to just watch and do not really support any team and only support the teams I bet on Cheesy.

I feel like I do not even care FA cup even with this situation, like it is still betable and I am not entirely sure that anybody could argue that you would even have to watch the games, just bet and move on, yet when it is FA cup it is just too boring and I do not even bet on it. I really can't wait for the next season though, it is going to come very fast and we will start seeing the games in just two months I think. Pre-season will start literally in couple weeks.
EPL > FA Cup for sure, a little bit busy but taking a look from time to time, saw Arsenal penalty and so far it is 1-1 after 38 minutes..

Edit: congrats Arsenal for winning and for securing a place in EL!
