How are you sure that we are going to win against this pandemic and most importantly during 2020? Grin
I do not say that Liverpool is not one of the best teams across Europe. I am saying that coronavirus raises a barrier to a season that was pretty much done for Liverpool from the beginning of 2020.

I understand the point you're trying to make. But let's be honest with ourselves here. I'm optimistic that a vaccine or cure would be out within the next couple of months or so. So the world should recover from the outbreak soon. Regardless of that, The premier league has announced that the season will continue no matter how long it takes before the pandemic ends. The end is not too far now. I believe we'll make it through this phase and come back stronger.

Maybe it will take 2 more months, maybe it will take 6 more months, but in the end it will end one way or another. Will the leagues come back and start when they left off?

I think you missed the part where the Premier League announced indefinite extension to the 2019/2020 season? Well here's an excerpt:
Quote
The FA’s Rules and Regulations state that "the season shall terminate not later than the 1 June" and "each competition shall, within the limit laid down by The FA, determine the length of its own playing season".

However, The FA’s Board has agreed for this limit to be extended indefinitely for the 2019/20 season in relation to Professional Football.

By the way, How do Y'all cope without weekend matches? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Watford still beat them, I mean that doesn't change anything but they weren't unbeatable in the record sense of the word, otherwise they were unstoppable and basically a full on freight train force towards any team they faced, even if you are feeling you are going to win that day and get ahead and all they somehow still found a way to get back and beat you, this team is just a whole another level we haven't seen before. Klopp is like that, dude basically spent as little as possible on Dortmund and we all know how further he took Dortmund as well, of course when he leveled up to Liverpool he did the same, he paid a bit for the keeper because lets face it Karius wasn't going to happen at all, but aside from that dude once again managed to spend as little as possible and took the champions league with it.

I doubt anything will change for the future of Liverpool, I mean at the worst case this season will be cancelled, I am still suspicious about a cancellation, I think all leagues are still waiting and postponing and postponing until a point where we are actually not free from the virus but at least we have a cure and a good treatment, they will be back when that happens.

Maybe it will take 2 more months, maybe it will take 6 more months, but in the end it will end one way or another. Will the leagues come back and start when they left off? I don't know but even if we start fresh from 2021 season Liverpool is still definitely the best team in premier league and maybe they won't be this good anymore but they will still get the championship if they keep the team intact.

Liverpool this year dominated totally in the Premier League and will be well deserved Champions for the Premier League 2020.Even though many will relate this winning to the global pandemic we are all facing we are living in Internet and information technology era so many will see the stats of this Premier League and they will all know that it was a totally deserved title and not because of the global pandemic.

Before this pandemic, Liverpool showed their best appearance, even they were almost unbeatable in the EPL, now there is a pandemic because of the virus, so that many who are associated with Liverpool will not be champions or curses, but in my opinion Liverpool clearly win purely because of their appearance on the field that is so nice.

In fact, I will appreciate Liverpool for having very far points with other clubs, meaning that Liverpool will be listed as EPL champions this season.

Liverpool is maybe cursed not to win the EPL.
They have so big advantage this season and a postponement happened - a pandemic was only able to stop this team!
Hopefully, EPL and FA will find a solution to end both cups this season.

I think It'll be more phenomenal that Liverpool would be winning the league this year.  It'll be more significant and won't be forgotten too soon as it's around the same time when the world suffered and would eventually conquered a pandemic.

Somebody: When did Liverpool first win the Premier League?
Everybody: The year the world won against a global pandemic.

You see why it's significant now? Even the average Manchester United fan don't know when they won their first or last premier league title.

There's nothing cursed about this. Don't forget that Liverpool have arguably been the best team across all of europe this season.

More precisely it was less fortunate because when the performance was good even almost all EPL clubs were beaten by Liverpool in every match and this time they had to be hindered by this pandemic I think their dreams must be delayed again for a long time even though they have become strong champions this season but still they can't beat the trophy in front of their fans.

Liverpool are only the best in the EPL but in the champions league they are also out of luck and eliminated by athletico madrid so that the best European team is no longer on its side.

The FA & the PL are currently trying to devise a plan to finish the season. Last night certain media outlets were suggesting all 20 teams will be quarantined at the England teams HQ in Burton, UK. The games will get finished there & all be televised with no fans.

That sounds like a great idea from my point of view, especially if they shift the starting date to something sooner, like tomorrow Smiley

Unfortunately, this idea is nowhere near as good for the players and their families. But they are paid well and a lot of us is suffering in some way on professional plan due to Corona virus so maybe it is time for players to make a sacrifice to keep their teams alive and financially secure.

Hopefully Premier League will finish and Liverpool will crowned but I am feeling FA cup is going to be cancelled as remaining matches need some good intention and FA will not go with this more burden on players so they will cancel this and Premeir League will go ahead its much wanted thing is going to happen.

It appears to be a good solution for a while however it may ends with a catastrophe. Putting 500 or more people (players, staff, cameramen, security...) in one place with too much close contact at least in games and training is risky. 1 asymptomatic person could spread the infection to everyone. Even if they all carried out the test and were negative, which doesn't guarantee anything, and someone from outside is positive carrying the food for example then he can contaminate them too...
Imo it is a possible solution but it requires so so many precautions!

This idea is proposed for June/July. By that time the virus should be dying off because of the self isolation & restrictions on people in the UK at the present time.

This idea may work, but I think it's going to be very risky, we all miss the EPL, but right now the safest thing to do is to wait for this pandemic to end or at least get better before we resume. One mistake with this proposed plan can start it's spread amongst the players. I don't even think the players will give in to this, with their families in mind, all they want to do now is stay at home till things get better.

And if it's true and if City wins still Liverpool will have 22 points lead than City which means Liverpool will be the season winner. Shall we start celebrating early or wait for official announcement 😋

It was a long wait for us to have this honer.

Liverpool has it in zhe beg.  There's isn't really a need to finish the whole season to find out.  But if the FA reeeaallyy wants to get on with it cos they feel they need to, that's fine too.

They should do it quick before the outbreak gets really bad.  Look at Italy and Spain... I don't think they're thinking about football right now.

According to Independent, Premier League is considering the option to finish this season by organizing remaining 92 games to be played in training caps during June and July, without fans of course and fully televised.

Quote
In order to complete the plan, clubs and their staffs would be confined to separate hotels away from their families, just like in an international tournament – albeit with full testing and quarantine conditions. The aim is to reduce the risk of contracting Covid-19 as even one case could derail the whole plan.
It is not just clubs that would have to be confined to quarantined bases, but also all officials, cameramen and outside broadcast crews.

Not the worst idea imho, this might work if done properly, and if everyone involved agrees, especially players.  There is a lot of money at stake, through TV rights and other commercial stuff, and I am sure that sponsors are pressing for season to be finished as well.
On the other hand, it is hard to plan anything few months in advance in current situation since no one knows how all this will end up.

This year there is no way that Liverpool will have not the league title.
The intent of every Euro league is to give the title to teams in someway and the majority of these leagues don't want a playoff stage, so...
