The biggest problem is how to select those who should be part of Champions or Europa Leagues...
The teams that are going to be selected for the Champions League and Europa League will be defined from the current league table.
So, if Liverpool, Man City, Leicester and Chelsea will be the teams that will play in the Champions League next season and the same for the teams that will join the Europa League. It is the fairest way in my opinion.
If this season of EPL is voided [50-50 chance], then Arsenal [1] can actually qualify for UCL next season [thanks to Man City]:
- As an Arsenal fan, I hope for this to happen but at the same time, will surely feel bad for Liverpool if this happens.

Any thoughts in regards to "Aleksander Ceferin's [UEFA president]" statement:

Teams who are currently leading their championships wouldn't be named as champions if the seasons were cancelled, according to UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
Weekends are becoming very dull with no football aren’t they. When do we think it’ll all recommence, early May?

Same thing with me every weekend watching football but now nothing because it was delayed due to Covid-19 really boring to stay at home.

I think waiting for the situation first if the vaccine is found soon then I am sure it will be even earlier.

The big problem isn't Liverpool nor the relegation teams since LFC is de facto the first one and only a jealous team could think otherwise and for the relegation, well they can maintain them and add 2 others from the EFL for example then next year we will have 5 relegation teams.
The biggest problem is how to select those who should be part of Champions or Europa Leagues...

I don't see any problem, every team has to understand the current situation the world is facing or probably they agree to play all remaining games behind close doors. If the league was to end the way the table is currently standing then top 4 teams gets the champions spot (excluding Manchester city as a result of their ban). Last 3 teams gets relegated to the EPL, it's as simple as that.

Although I don't think it'll come to that, the league will end as it normally does were all 20 clubs play 38 matches. The champion and Europa league will also get completed to get a champion. It's just a matter of time before everything gets back to normal.
Honestly i hope that i have the same optimism as you but the current situation is telling me that we are just witnessing the tip of the iceberg...

I think if all teams agree to end the Championship right now I think it can be done.Liverpool is already the Champion and we can all agree in this.I don’t know about the teams fighting for a spot in European competitions next year and the relegation teams. They most probably would not agree in this.I hope that the best solution is applied for both parties involved.

It is unfair to select teams using the current scores.
Leicester could derank to the 4th or even 5th spot at the end of the league. ManU, Wolves, Sheffield, one of the them could pick a spot in Champions League...and how to choose between them who will play Europa League, don't forget that some teams lack another game which may be decisive like Sheffield. Many surprises could occur!

Euro 2020 cancelled/postponed by UEFA, good news for Liverpool fans all around. We have the best chance possible now to get this damn season finished & be champions for the first time in 30 years.
UEFA didn’t have any other choice, there are so many ramifications if the domestic seasons weren’t allowed to finish.

For Liverpool to get robbed of the title this season would be one of biggest injustices in the sport. I really hope the league is just delayed and all the games will play out at later date. Winning at the green table is not the same.

Though Liverpool only need 6 more points to get the title and they have to postpone their dreams because of this virus so that all matches will be postponed according to what is scheduled by the organizer.

This is the worst game I have ever seen because the whole is not just the EPL, it is really boring.

Everyone certainly never expected this to happen, because this was a factor in the problems of the whole world that happened. I hope that within a few weeks there will be clarity for the EPL competition and so this season is finished first.

Earlier on i watched Sky Sports news and there was talk of this current season premier league getting extended instead affecting the next season just in order to see it end in the required manner that's if the pandemic would cool off after a couple of months.
But the Challenge is on players whose contracts will be ending in June.
There are debate to lockdown the whole Europe, or nations in European union. If such very seriously massive lockdown will be applied, all leagues will highly be extended for a few months in order to get a consensus among biggest leagues in Europe. It will be only better for UEFA to reschedule all their plans (for EURO) and for other things relate to international matches. The discussing point, in June, sounds good because the Covid-19 will be beaten sometime in June or July.

Do you read the news from Mr. Trump. He said the lives of the USA. citizens will likely come back to normal around July.

I’m pretty certain the league will get finished, let’s see where we are on April 4. China got it
under control so hopefully it’ll be the same in the UK.
By finished you mean Liverpool will be crowned Epl champions for the 2019-2020 season..well that technically makes sense but what of teams getting relegated do we have to wait for all games to be played or the bottom 3 get automatically cut off with no opportunity to fight for a place in the premier league??

Liverpool is not the only team in the league but to tell you the truth, who cares about Aston Villa or Sheffield?
The team that will take the league will be remembered not the team that will get out of the relegation zone and will not get demoted.

??
Ask Aston Villa or Sheffield supporters who cares? you obviously don't understand English football culture.
19 other teams are not important only Liverpool and his great season, then we don't need this league. Give the trophy to one club, who's care about others. Why championship exists, why someone's want to rank up to the first league if they don't be remembered and are not important.
Burn them all, we don't need Premier League, only one club (Liverpool if it's possible) and give them tittle that's the only thing that matters.

No football means time to talk and discuss some controversies..anyone up for this? I'll start:
Liverpool fans, what would you choose?

- "Winning" the title this way and have your rivals tell you, until the end of times, that it is a tainted title? (you know The Toffees and the Citizens are preparing the chants).

- Not "winning" it at all and accept the FA's decision of voiding this season (it could happen, you never know)? This one means all the records will go down the drain, but at least your rivals won't make fun of you for the next 100 years.
I am not some huge Liverpool fan, but I don't see any dillema here, as no one in their right mind would call it "tainted title" in case EPL ends and title goes to Liverpool. And who cares what some ignorant fans think anyway. I know I wouldn't. Everyone knows that Liverpool would win it anyway.

Of course anyone objective knows that, but that wouldn't stop their opponents making fun of that title. And I believe tomahawk9 has forgot about united fans who would also have something to say about that Smiley

the problem is a little deeper here. Liverpool is not the only team in the league. For example, Aston Villa, have less one match to play and is they win there, he will go from out zone and 19th place to safe 16th position. Sheffield also has a fantastic season and have a chance to be in top five, maybe even better. it is certainly not fair for them to end up as it is. I think it's not possible to admit only the Liverpool results.

@Toma, Toke, snipie I think we are overthinking about this season title things. Liverpool is the season winner even if there are no matches we see in this EPL which is unlikely though. I am sure after few weeks everything will go back to normal.

If I am not wrong then Liverpool just need two more goals for having the title officially. So, we are good.
Yeah true we are overthinking a little bit  Smiley
However my worries that 2-4 weeks aren't enough to handle the current situation especially in UK. Western European countries aren't even in the peak although harsh measures are taken and UK's prime minister is joking around about families losing their relatives. UK strategy for the moment is to let people get infected, somehow like the natural selection, or at least that's what we understood from his speech, so what will happen there will be madness, and nothing will resume before summer...

I think it's only fair that Liverpool get awarded the Premier league and everything else remains – nobody gets relegated, current top 10 remains as it is. Depending on what decisions UEFA makes regarding Champions league /Europa. If Liverpool were on top with 5 points or less, that's the kinda situation where we can argue that they shouldn't be given the title. This is different.  25 points is no joke. Regardless of what happens in the next 9 games, Liverpool is surely winning the EPL title. We'll see what happens pending the current COVID19 pandemic.
It is fair for Liverpool, everyone will agree with it includes Manchester City. But for the rest, it is not a fair solution for all. We know in soccer, everything can happen till the last seconds so teams have disadvantages in temporary positions on the ranking table sure don't agree with that solution. They have faith that they can flip above other teams in the rest 9 matches of the league.

It is life and there is no solution can satisfy all. Let's see.

What do you guys think of the Herd immunity and the likely strategy of England government to help the community has a widely immunized condition, if you live in England?
https://www.theguardian.com/world/live/2020/mar/14/coronavirus-live-updates-uk-us-australia-italy-europe-school-shutdown-sport-events-cancelled-latest-update-news

Do you agree with it? And do you think it is too risky or dangerous for your communities?
Which one do you support (herd immunity or social distancing)?

The world is not ending. Let's assume that the whole (100%) of the world population will be infected with the virus (that will likely not), there will be only 1 to 4 percent of them will die. Of course, I do agree that the total death tolls will be high, but positively we know not all of infected victims will end with deaths.

The numbers of recovered victims are dominant compare to deaths. The more healthy and strong guys will be infected then recovered well, the higher chances to be protected for the elderly (if they won't get infected too soon in the pandemic). That's what the world might have, a herd immunity, from massive infections or from vaccines (that we won't have in the near future).
I feel like that I am watching the movie 2012 and I am just one of the survival awaiting to aboard on the ship LOL

Seriously things are looking very bad. I saw a video clip and some doctor was saying it's the media who are hyping this corona thing with high intense. I can't remember the doctor name but it's it USA.
