Are you 100% sure?  Cheesy there is much more games to play.
although the whole thing is with the virus so serious, FC Liverpool's case always makes me laugh. After 18/19 season and losing title just because of one point (or few millimetres in goal line), Now is a big chance season 19/20 to be cancelled. Regardless of dominance, he will remain without a title. However depressing it may be for Liv supporters, for others it may be funny.
They (Liverpool) waited for decades to have a national title, and this season it seems nothing can prevent them to get it. But only one thing, the Covid-19 forces the season to be postponed and maybe cancelled. Liverpool has been very close to the title and if the league goes next few matches, Liverpool can make it well. Anyway, it is a general case for all and they have to accept it (if the season will actually be cancelled - that I don't believe it will happen). It is more than a joke for Liverpool and their fans.

I’m referring to the following: 1) Liverpool will finally win a Premier League title

I know they’ve said there’s no football until earliest April 30th but I still think it’ll be at least another 2 weeks after that until a ball is kicked & even then it might all be behind closed doors.

So they are planning to re-start the season at the end of April, I'm not sure if this will go ahead as things are getting worse even with the lock downs in most countries. Also we then need to think about what the economy will be once the virus is over, right now its not looking good at all and if things get worse, no one will worry about football matches. We are heading into something that the world has not seen in a very long time, I just hope we all come out of this mess and we start to see sports back playing again but I still have my doubts that this will happen in the next month or two.
It totally depends on the pandemic, the situations in next weeks in England and in the Europe. If situations changed better, next one month and a half, we will have changes to see Premier League back. But even such good situation comes, teams and players need time to come back for training. One month and a half (maybe) off can damage players' fitness and they will not be in good mood at that moment. It is nearly like (or even worse) summer break.

The pandemic is the worst one over nearly a century so sure the world has to be serious about it.

Why not lockdown the thread for a while

without any actual football to discuss

I guess if people are in self isolation they enjoy chatting about the football, just general football chat.
April 30th is when the league plans to start again any way.
Its mean this time we have very short break with next season start in August and this is going to end in July likely if we have start again.

I don’t think locking this thread down is such a great idea, instead we should now focus on discussing what this season now holds for us. I’m referring to the following: 1) Liverpool will finally win a Premier League title, (but they’ll never be as great as Manchester United is.) 2) Manchester United finishes in top 4, and that means Sancho is coming and I’m pretty excited for his arrival. 3) Last and most importantly what happens to City if their ban is not over ruled therefore you’ll see we have so much to discuss till the league resumes again.

I just agree if this topic is locked.
But if it is not required, then we can still discuss even if it's not about the match. Because this delay isn't too long either. Well, maybe April we will see the latest developments.

As said @Juggy777, the information conveyed was very useful, because I don't really have to know every update that happens at EPL.

I think everyone still needs information about EPL so I think this thread is still useful even though the match is postponed.

As currently we have many players Coaches and officials are also have positive tests closed doors is not good option just 3 months wait is much better and safe for all.

Of course, it is not, I wrote 3 months AND closed doors. Serie A wants to start on the 3th of May but I don't think they will do.
Currently in Europe Italy is most worst position as today they have more then 400 deaths from this so its going to take some long time in here may be July or August.

Yes, there are so many casualties and cases in italy and i do really feel bad and hope theres a cure even sooner.
It is reported that italy has the oldest population in europe, and perhaps thats a reason for the widespread and casualties, but i do hope the world get healed soon.

While we hope and stay positively for the end of this pandemic, Let us remember to wash our hands and stay indoors in isolation.
Be safe everyone.

If we all watched the briefing from the UEFA president i think its the most fair conclusions to be honest.
There is a deadline of June to complete all seasons if the pandemic solves sooner.

And he also offered some solutions, and that is the season will be void if it cannot be completed, because with 9/10 games left, you cannot assume league leaders, nor champions league positions or europa league positions nor relegating team.

The fairest way is either play out the season any time it ends, or void it.

That means 5 more weeks, we are waiting for announcements or good news. What will the mechanism look like after the EPL match has been postponed for a long time. Surely EPL must be completed in full calendar time.

Updates:
Perhaps many people have read the news that the positive Arsenal (Arteta) Coach has identified the corona virus, now his condition has begun to improve and now he has started working at home.

5 weeks is nothing the more optimistic prevision if cases goes down should be 3 months and closed doors.

Weekends are becoming very dull with no football aren’t they. When do we think it’ll all recommence, early May?

Same thing with me every weekend watching football but now nothing because it was delayed due to Covid-19 really boring to stay at home.

I think waiting for the situation first if the vaccine is found soon then I am sure it will be even earlier.

It was boring, there were no activities like weekends as usual. Even too boring for me.

We will wait 2 weeks to get or even more and whether there are further announcements when it will start again or take a break longer.
2 Weeks is nothing its going to take some long time most probably we will have some good news in May because currently nothing good and positive news coming for any one from any where in this Corona era.

The odds are still 50:50 but I am not sure this season will be canceled if the 14-day locdown is successful. If indeed this season has to be canceled then the only team that is definitely very disappointed is Liverpool because they are very close to the EPL champions this season.

EPL only has 9 matches left for the team that has managed to play 29 previous matches and Covid-19 really wreaked havoc on all aspects including the world of football. Hopefully this situation will get better soon and this problem (Covid-19) will be resolved soon.
