This thread is only for those peoples opinion who faced such situations and recovered or atleast know how to tackle such situations in easy way ( btw i know its not easy )

I'm one of that history, a gambler who are in debts. I use to be an addict gambler before even l almost a loser for straight 2 months l used to go back gambling until I have a lot of debts. It's like lm a Criminal people hunting me because of my debts. I'm hiding anywhere like no where to run. Until my aunt help me to get out of this situation. I feel so shame to all people especially in our community because my father is a barrangay official. That's the biggest embarrassing moment in my life that give me a lesson in life.

self discipline and self control is the important thing that we should have. but if we are in debt, I don't think that we can risk the money from our debt to playing gambling. there is no guarantee for us to win more money with that money. and if we don't have good control and discipline, we can use that money to playing gambling.

Some people who do this kind of stuff totally end up mistaking gambling for a way to earn a living. Gamblers didn't proclaim themselves on having addiction on gambling, much more telling that they are in debts, it's not new that they keep on denying such situations but they should realize the effects it can gives once their into much debt, they might lise everything so better have control.

People would be putting it more into prospective for themselves.

Addicted gambler always in a debt, because he never know about his limitation in gambling, he use money and lost, again he use money and lost and then he borrow money to others, also he used his borrow money in gambling. This situation is continue and in the end his hand is empty but his hand full of debt.

All the gamblers I know are in debt and I think they are used with the life they have. I think if they will not stop gambling they will never be out of debt its sad that they come to that point, gambling is supposed to be fun and not a problem.

It's really a big problem having a debt as long as to have a capital for gambling, very impractical.They do as there bad habit which also being part on there life. It makes there life ruin and financial as well, they didn't discipline there self. I would say much better let there self go in the rehabilitation so that they can be discipline enough on the different program of rehabilitation center. Also, being a gambler will create struggle as a breadwinner that makes there financial support didn't met the budgeted amount for there daily needs.

If you are a family man then you are really putting your family on a ruined future since when it comes to financial aspect it would really be mainly affected due to such addiction into gambling. Debt is normal for those people who are on this state which they wouldnt care if they would borrow others money to play gambling and serve as a capital without even thinking on the possible risk or outcome later on.

You really cannot blame anyone for the life they have chosen and the truth is that it amuses me too when I see people considering gambling as fun.

Gambling is just like a way to get all your funds sucked up and the only people benefiting from it are those who own the casinos, both offline and online while those who see it as fun or are trying to make quick money from it are just trying to manage with the little they have and end up dashing it all out to those who already have more than them. However, like I said, it is the world we live in and different strokes for different folks.

Ive been there. Being addicted in gambling, had debts and forgot my responsibilty to my kids as a parent. I managed to overcome those dark past by moving on with the help of my family. I had to go out of town and stay in the province for almost a year while my parents repaid my debts. I got a job when i get back and things are going smooth, all went well and i paid my parents for my debts. Now im still playing but fully aware of how far should i go. I gamble for fun and i learned from the past. Now i have job, business and btc investment. I wont do the same mistakes again. Dont dwell in the past and think of a way to overcome your agony.

If you're already in debt because of gambling addiction, then you're in poor condition and have no money. Usually people who are addicted to gambling are people who have a lot of money or just a rich person who can enjoy gambling. But if you're already in debt, that means you have to realize that gambling is not going to make your debts get paid off. Gambling will only exacerbate your debt, and you have to find a real job that can pay off your debt. Stop gambling, and relieve all your mistakes in the past, now is the time for you to be realistic and make your family happy.

That's the worst thing any gambler could do, how can you gamble to solve your problems? You loose and you compound it unless money isn't a problem else i agree with you that they are easily plunged into addiction and could end up stealing and taking loans to fund their gambling games.

Everyone of us has our own way of coping and dealing with our problems so if someone prefer to do gambling just to divert or forget whatever they are going then we can't really tell that person not to do gambling. I think the best advice we can give them is try not to get addicted in gambling, I guess if the sole purpose of gambling is just for fun then getting addicted in gambling will not be that problem.

Oh yeah, even how many people hear there different advices it will still end up on your own decision. Gambling is game that might ruin your financial aspects that will can have more debts and loan everywhere in order to survived the daily needs. Being addicted in gambling is not easily to cure, if you can't control anymore much better let yourself go to rehabilitation in order to cure enough. Lastly, if you don't want to ruin your financial just stop gamble or else it will end up a misery status of your life.
