Yes, it rarely happens to most gambling addicts, so if anyone manages to do it, he is one of the lucky ones who can get back his normal life, so he should really pay attention to his family from then on. This proves to us that even a serious gambling addict can cure himself by undergoing all the therapy he needs. Cases like this are rare, and only a small percentage can cure gambling addiction, but if this is improved further, the recovery from gambling addiction will increase. This requires help from all parties, not only from his family but also from the gambling addict who really wants to heal himself and prove to his family that he is capable of doing it. And with strong encouragement from his family, he was able to cure his gambling addiction.

Yeah! I myself was very surprised when, many years ago, his wife took me aside and quietly said to me: “You know, my husband now has no desire to gamble at all. He is completely cured! I pray that this nightmare does not begin  again!".  And many years have passed since then. 
And everything in their family has been good since then. 
This is probably that rare case when gambling addiction is overcome and a former very gambling gammbler, who suffered from gambling addiction in the past almost to the point of illness, becomes a completely normal person.  Satisfied with life.  Even though they and their family do not live richly.  But overall they are doing well.

One of the things that you should really be having in mind is that you shouldnt really be that making yourself getting hooked with gambling or else you would really be having that kind of huge problem.
It might really that simple as it looks or sounds on easy on quitting but its not, if you are on such situation then it would really be that not so easy on getting out until you would really be making yourself not to be able to stop until you lost it all specially with your finances. Gambling isnt bad if you are really just that having that kind of moderation in towards gambling dealing.
Each of us does have that kind of will on whats good and whats bad, it is really just that there are people who are really cant be able to control themselves in speaking about
money and do such foolish things around.

Gambling addiction is indeed very difficult to cure, right and yes, perhaps gambling addicts have to really feel the loss of everything first to make them aware and regret their actions because they gamble too much and this will have an impact on their financial condition and relationships.
I personally don't really like someone who is too obsessed with gambling, but that doesn't mean I don't allow my partner to gamble, gamble in a reasonable amount and not too excessively so that one day if you want to leave gambling it won't be too difficult because we won't reach the "addiction" stage. ".

Even the family and loved ones of an addict would get tired of trying to help him out. They’ll surely try but an addict that’s hooked with no immediate plans to sober up, would constantly be a liability to everyone around.
It’s obviously not easy to quit gambling when you’re already addicted cause like any other addiction, it started as a habit.
You would first make the decision within yourself to quit that habit that has gotten you addicted. Only then would you be open to help and ideas from family and friends on how to get better.

They are your family, they are the first one to help you when you are in trouble. It's okay to fight alone if you really can but it's even better if you have someone to lean on, you're not alone.

regret always comes later and that is what will be experienced by gamblers who have lost everything and they want it all to come back to them. and therefore before it is too late, a gambler must first realize that what they are doing is wrong. even though it is quite difficult to advise them, as the closest people of course we have to be able to give them advice, even in the end they will reject it, but no one can give them advice other than us, the closest people to them.

it is difficult to find a gambling addict who has destroyed his own life and the life of his family and after that he was able to get up to stay away from gambling and improve his life and if we can find an addict like the one described above he needs to be appreciated because he is one of the great people because he was able to defeating himself or defeating his desires in order to live a healthier life.

It is very rare for a gambling addict who is very serious to recover by himself without the help of other people and usually ends tragically, but he is able to realize his commitment to stop being addicted and fight the urge to gamble and choose to become a private driver/taxi driver.

Yes, that is a very useful story for those who want to reduce their gambling or even cure their gambling addiction. And it is difficult to admit to his gambling addiction, especially if he has destroyed his family's life and made everything a mess. But he can do well and can get his life back. We must salute him because he is someone who has succeeded in curing his gambling addiction among the many people who have not succeeded in recovering from their gambling addiction. And he has been able to get a job that can divert his attention from gambling because as a taxi driver, he needs to focus on the road so he can't work while gambling. It was good for him because he didn't gamble and could abandon his old habits.

I will also add that for many years this man, even if he decides to play some kind of game, can calmly stop playing at almost any moment.  It’s even surprising to me that such a transformation of his thinking occurred.  After all, he once suffered from a painful addiction to gambling; one might say he was simply an obsessed and inadequate person, and even partly crazy.  By the way, sometimes he plays with his children.  But all this is innocent and fun entertainment without even any hint of gaming addiction. 
and further.  This man works as a taxi driver and has no opportunity to gamble while working, which is probably also a good argument for avoiding gambling.

Once a person is in that state it is very difficult for them to stop without any help, however even if their family members were willing to help them, it is unlikely they will actually listen as they are not going to believe they cannot recover the money they have lost, it is only once they have lost it all when they finally understand what they have done, but by that time it is too late and there are even some of their family members which will at the time want nothing to do with them as they will be incredibly mad at how irresponsible they were.

We humans does have that so called senses, awareness, mindset or whatever that it is really that correlated in between. It is really just that there are people who are really that neglecting out on what are  the things that really need to be done but instead they do really make out that tolerance on something which they do know which is right and doesnt really care about on the negative effects
as long they could really be able to deal with on the current things that they've been doing. Gambling addiction is really a one tough problem on someone and on the time that you do get hooked into it,
then there's no way that you could really be able to get out so easily, although there are some individuals who do really be able to recover or quit up in a short span of time yet
proper discipline and moderation would really be the key.It wont be that easy but its not something which is impossible, its a matter of control and willingness on how you would really be
able to quit on.

That's so much when a gambler gets to that point and he's willing to sell every asset that he's got including properties and investments. It may sound funny for some but this goes with the reality that's happening globally. There are gamblers who can't be stopped from doing such and only emptiness will stop when they have nothing anymore.

If that has come to the point after selling everything that a gambler has and gets to that moment where every relationship is being affected. The time will come when he has to take counseling seriously from professionals because that's how they will be guided. Pride will be gone if they come to realize that it is not going to have any more good connection to their family and intimate relationship with their partners.

For one to overcome gambling and be able to completely quit, one needs to listen and apply the advice that has been given to them. Because if it's not for them, then there's no problem that needs to be solved. But if it has come to fixing his own self, there's a need to follow the suggestions for the sake of his well being.

It will not be applicable to everyone since not everyone has a reliable family and support system to lean on. But for those people that have a good support system, it will be your advantage if you will share your gambling habits to your trusted family member or friend. This way, you can be guided and be criticized when you are blinded of the things that you think are beneficial to you. Since sometimes, gamblers tend to be irrational and impulsive in decision making, which results to troubles and worries later on due to error in making an action towards a situation.

If you feel comfortable in disclosing your struggles, it would be better too so that you can be advised of the things you have to do that you fail to notice or acknowledge. Especially if you are in the verge of falling into addiction, it will be very helpful to have people to support you and care for you. It can also be a motivation to quit gambling altogether.

With genuine care? It's  true that taking the advantage will really help the person to work out with his problem, addiction though got different criterias and it's always possible that instead of moving away the person who keeps on betting will suffer for more problem, I like that opinion where you are willing to disclose whatever it is that you are facing during your gambling session, with the knowledge of those people they can help to guide you to go back and reset everything.

Such help can give you the time to think of everything, with that guidance that they are offering together with all kinds of help from them and from your own self, this kind of issue might be terminated out from you.

It is also constructive not only relying on the person's will power only in order to face addiction to gambling, in my opinion. If someone is still in a phase which allows them to get attention and support from family members who genuinely care about that situation, then I do not see why not to take that as an advantage and reveal the problem to them, so they can intervene.
It is one of the reasons I have explained in one thread about there about keeping gambling a secret hobby or secret activity. I would personally advice anyone who start gambling, to disclose it to their family and be open when one starts to struggle with loses, sometimes that kind of early honest can save many people from a late sadder development in their life.

Everything that has to do With Doing things well in some way is what People Want most Because you have to have an attitude of Acceptance , a person when their game gets out of control so things can be very difficult, it is because it has to do with the way of Dealing with losses, because based on what one can do it is basic, when people lose some people stop playing and don't come back again, that is a way to see it and Protect themselves , some people are like that, But there are other types of people who, when they lose, want to recover or simply Seek revenge Against the Game or the casino, and that is an erroneous thought, the casinos will always have the benefit of the advantage of the vasa and that shields them. If anything, in particular, when a person pays attention to what a casino can do, it can be Assumed that they have a lot of what they can Think about doing , I am a person who, when they lose, takes things with a grain of salt I know that It happens and then I go to the Casino the Next day or I do it in a week , but I don't retaliate Against the casino Because it's Worse.

Yeah you are correct, one of the things about gambling addict is that they tend to be very upsess with gambling as such that they will be willing to use all they have including there properties to gamble, that's why is always advice able to have control on everything we do so that when you feel you are pushing too much you can easily advised yourself.

Because gambling addiction has greatly affected not just the gamler but also there relationship and families, however I witnessed it myself how many years of relationship break up because of the gambling.
