As you said, they just have to have good self-control, by limiting gambling activities that have a dangerous impact, and also try to limit gambling, not to lose a lot of other things, such as time, for example as you said playing when everyone is asleep, that's true. But it needs to be underlined that if you do gambling activities like that too often, your sleep time or hours will be disturbed and of course this will affect our own health. And the main thing is money, as much as possible they should be able to limit gambling, by not chasing a win that is not clear that it will be easy to get and even then usually people tend to spend more money on gambling than other important things.
That's the first thing, because in my opinion even if they have their family and friends who support them to stop gambling, it will be difficult if they themselves do not have strong determination and intention, because the key is in themselves who will determine everything. As you said, even if they don't have people accompanying them in recovery, I also think they will be able to carry out the recovery well because of the strong intention and determination they have, and they must also be consistent in terms of gambling recovery. With the support of other people such as family or friends, it only needs to be used as motivation that the addicted person can leave the bad habit, and they must prove it until it is completed perfectly.
That means we have to start caring more about our health so that we don't experience problems. By maintaining health, being able to gamble responsibly, and having self-control, we can be free from any pressure, and we won't even think about recovering from losses because we already know that it is difficult to win. If we keep trying, we might lose more money than we can afford to use for gambling. Playing gambling for too long will clearly harm our health, not only physical health but also mental health where this mental health will affect our mindset, so that we will not know when to stop gambling because we only think about gambling. The key for gambling addicts who want to heal themselves is to have strong intentions and determination that can help them rise from adversity and be able to undergo all the healing sessions so that they can slowly start to heal themselves and see the opportunity to recover from gambling addiction. This strong intention and determination will become stronger when the gambling addict sees that his family is accompanying him during the healing period for his gambling addiction so that he does not feel alone and lonely. This is important for gambling addicts because having someone accompany them through their healing sessions can encourage them to be able to complete each session.

The reason gambling is not seen as a good thing is because, it has an impact that will harm someone when they have experienced gambling addiction, not much different from drug addiction. So naturally this has a bad view in all people or society. because the impact that occurs is difficult to hide, therefore it is likely that the impact will be very visible to many people around it and it is difficult to cure it as you said, because it can be said to be almost equivalent to drug addiction where if to quit the addiction it must go through a rehabilitation phase which is very difficult for addicts to do. And to stop completely at once may be difficult but can do it slowly as you said, by reducing his gambling activities and it will provide an opportunity to be able to stop gambling even though slowly, but it doesn't matter because those who go from ordinary to addiction certainly go through the process but quickly, unlike the problem to cure his addiction, they have to do it gradually, step by step. If they are consistent maybe they will be able to quickly recover from the addiction. Although the chances are said to be very slim but there is no harm in trying it because this will also produce good and positive values for themselves.
That is why any addiction can have a bad impact on ourselves and the people around us, and they may experience a worse impact than the person who is addicted. They will not know anything about people who are addicted, how to find a solution, what they should do in the beginning, and so on. They have to keep themselves busy looking for more information about gambling addiction and also meeting several people who are thought to be able to help them cure people who are addicted to gambling. We probably won't know what the difference is between gambling and drug addiction. Even people who are addicted might not realize it because they are excessive users. Maybe if that's the case, his family needs to take him to a rehabilitation center so that people who are addicted to gambling can be treated using better methods. It's like taking a drug addict to a rehabilitation center for drug addicts, and they have to stay in the rehabilitation center to undergo treatment. Maybe they will be taught how to reduce their gambling addiction by doing things that can benefit them and can start to divert their attention to gambling. And there are other things that they have to follow because those are the procedures that rehabilitation centers have to cure people who are addicted to gambling.

Yes, it is difficult to quit gambling addiction, it is almost impossible to recover from the addiction that has been attached and even ingrained with them. But there must be a way out if they really have the intention to quit the addiction itself. By doing new things when they want to gamble it will make them little by little able to leave the gambling addiction activity, for example when he wants to gamble he ventures into sports such as playing basketball, or tennis. That he can do or do other things that he likes because there are still many other things that are more useful than continuing to monitor gambling with little body movement,  but by exercising they will move all their limbs which of course will be healthy for themselves. It's true that they must have strong intentions and determination and also be consistent in what they want, of course it's not easy but if they are really consistent,  I think it will work well. If they are still half-hearted to stop gambling I think they are just wasting their time, even though they have tried but they themselves must admit that they have not been wholehearted to stop then it is better for them to gamble until the lowest point or the lowest point they don't have anything because it runs out by selling it and using it for gambling, that way they will realize by themselves do not need to get advice and encouragement from others who support them. And I don't think they have to gamble until they are old.
As long as there is an intention and desire, there must be a way, and as long as gambling addicts realize that they have made a fatal mistake to the point of making their life a mess and want to fix it, they will definitely get their way. It may take time to find the way. But with help from the people around them and also regularly visiting the rehabilitation center or even staying overnight at the rehabilitation center, they will find a suitable method to use that will speed up the process of healing their gambling addiction. The important thing is that gambling addicts do not feel that it is a burden and can live with it happily because it is a mistake they have made, and they want to cure their gambling addiction immediately. Maybe they can do regular exercise outside while breathing fresh air every morning or evening and also make another schedule that can be done regularly so that he won't be able to think about gambling like he did before. They also don't need to be at their lowest point to gain enlightenment. Most of them need to experience falling to their lowest point so that they can gain enlightenment about the mistakes they have made, gain awareness, and develop the desire to start changing their lives for the better.

Of course, most people will hide their gambling activities from their family because they don't want to feel disappointed or unhappy with every gambling activity they do, considering that not everyone likes gambling, and quite few even think that gambling is bad activity.
Even though the family role is very helpful, personally I will not tell my family what he does regarding gambling and will continue to hide everything even though I am in trouble.

What he did was real form of effort towards awareness to be able to recover from gambling addiction and curing addiction must be based on one own intention and determination because no matter how many people give advice or suggestions, if there is no awareness or intention from yourself then things will become very difficult.
From the emergence of awareness to recover, he can also suppress every activity he does so that when he has the desire to return, he can think that his goal is to stop and recover from the addiction he is experiencing.
You really have to have better control so that you are not tempted to gamble too often, especially since you already know what the impact is on someone who gambles too often. We could hide our gambling activities and only gamble when everyone is asleep so that no one will be disturbed, but as I said, we have to have better control. Gambling can make it deeper and harder for us to reduce our gambling activities, and when we find it difficult to give up gambling, maybe that is a sign that we are starting to experience a gambling addiction.

A person who is addicted to gambling can recover from his gambling addiction as long as he has strong intentions and determination, and even though no one accompanies him during his recovery period, he can still live it well until he is finally free from his gambling addiction. This is indeed difficult, but it depends on the intention and determination of the gambling addict because, in fact, he himself can suppress the effects of his gambling addiction. Other people who accompany him only provide encouragement and support while everything depends on him. All people with an addiction, both gambling and drug addicts, have a second chance, but it depends on whether they can take advantage of their second chance or whether they will continue to reject it.

As you said, they just have to have good self-control, by limiting gambling activities that have a dangerous impact, and also try to limit gambling, not to lose a lot of other things, such as time, for example as you said playing when everyone is asleep, that's true. People's thoughts are different, so they can have what they think is best for themselves, hiding or telling it in my opinion will still bring its own problems, because after all gambling is something that is not good in society. So there are those who hide their gambling activities because they are embarrassed if they find out about their activities, and there are those who tell it to explain their habits, depending on the person himself. And in my opinion, people who like to gamble tend to find it difficult to accept advice from other people even if they are family or close friends, sometimes they can also argue back because they don't accept advice.
To stop gambling is very difficult not only gambling all things that have become a habit that is said to be addicted will be difficult to cure, as you said, it takes a strong determination to stop gambling is true and I want to add, when an addict wants to quit the addiction then he will be determined with all his might to resist the desire to gamble. But if they want to gamble half-heartedly or there is still a feeling of wanting to gamble it will be in vain, it is better for them to continue gambling until they feel at the lowest point in order to fully realize the gambling that has made him lose a lot and not in terms of money alone. So in my opinion there must be a definite intention with all their heart first to stop. then they will be able to accept advice from family or people around them.
Yes, someone have their own considerations, so it's only natural that they still hide it from people because there are still many people who think gambling is something that is not good. Many people have experienced bad things because of gambling, and it cannot be cured easily. That is why those who are still hiding their gambling activities feel comfortable gambling without anyone knowing, and maybe they will still hide it for a long time. Everything will depend on how their self-control can protect them from all the problems that can arise from gambling. However, those who still hide their gambling activities must be wary of the tendency to continue gambling if they experience defeat. It can trigger them to become addicted to gambling if they cannot control themselves in gambling.

The reason gambling is not seen as a good thing is because, it has an impact that will harm someone when they have experienced gambling addiction, not much different from drug addiction. Something that has been done repeatedly will form a habit, so if someone wants to reduce their gambling activities, they have to form a new habit so they can start reducing it. A person must have a strong intention and determination to start, whereas if he still wants to gamble, that means he must start practicing his intention and determination so that he can stop himself from gambling. But if he loses money and no one in his family knows that he has been gambling too often, he could become seriously addicted to gambling, and no one can help him.

Most of the gamblers will not like to share their involvement to their family.Because their family keep ask their gambling family members to share their money involvement to the gambling sites.Even if the gamblers not use huge money in the gambling sites, the pressure from the family will be high.So do the gambling without sharing information to your family.
Neither asking for some gambling fund or capital for some sharing or would really be asking on where you do get those funds? Of course they would really be molding up that kind of question when it comes to this kind of activity on which we do know that it would really be something costly as you do go forward or you are really that longing on playing gambling on which this would really be creating that kind of assumption that you do really have that money to be spend in gambling which raises up questions on how its possible that you could really be having those funds.

This is why for those individuals who are really that involved on gambling will really be tending to make themselves to be secretive on the things that they've been doing
rather than on telling other people neither family members or friends. Quitting is something that should be talked if you do see yourself
that spending too much already which is out of your limit already.

If happens that you got lucky, it'sway better to quit and enjoy your money, becuase if you will continue and will try to add more chances that you will lose it all again is possible, call for the day and enjoy your earnings, practicing that kind of mindset will allow you make sure that you are in control and there's nothing that will lead you to any potential addictions.
I always say that there is no perfect advice for a gambler, still, everyone should have their gauge and plan, this is also applicable when the limit of gamblers is not yet reached, we have to use our brains wisely. There seems not to be a best time to quit gambling when you are making money from it but when you lose consistently, it's sensible to do the needful before it's too late. One can come back for it again after cooling off in some days or weeks, at that moment, it's better to give it a break and try to play the hero's revenge the next time. To losers, the mindset that they must get back their money is what kills them more and I've never seen gamblers that have won their emotions consistently in this regard. But those who are winning still need to guard themselves against greed, that's why I started with the remark that even if our limits are not stretched yet, there is a good time for us to quit and be smart. If not, the money that has been won before could be lost due to anxiety, and lack of plan and self-control.

Maybe you mean that there is no perfect advice for gamblers but even if you have the perfect advice for those who are already addicted to gambling I think it will not fully affect, maybe you already know that someone who has entered the addiction zone they have their own thoughts and beliefs even though basically everything they think and expect is outside of the actual facts that always happen. Gamblers who are addicted always want to win but do not want to lose, if they lose then they will continue to act out of control by chasing that loss for who knows how long. So maybe even if your advice can help, it is very unlikely, and all safety in gambling is only themselves who can do and implement it.

If they have already entered the addiction phase then I think they are already quite late in applying limits, because if you are already in that position it is very difficult to be able to restore consciousness even just a little to encourage you to apply a little prevention. I think that advice would be more effective to suggest to those who have not entered the addiction phase or that means that their gambling involvement is not too severe, they must really be able to apply all the restrictions firmly, because if you have entered the addiction phase I think there is no other feeling except regret.

Chasing losses in my opinion will only make you worse, what makes you so sure that you will be able to break even by winning the next time? it's nothing more than your feelings, right? and I'm sure you never know when you will win, so I think before you gamble you should be able to understand all the risks involved in gambling and also what is meant by luck. If you have understood all that then I think you will not dare to do things that are beyond your ability, or mean like putting an amount that you cannot be responsible for if the final result loses. I think by putting a small amount and also by bringing the right mindset, it is less likely for you to fall into the addiction zone.

There is nothing wrong with advice, all of it is essentially aimed at something good. it's just that the problem is if someone is given advice, whether he will accept it or ignore it. just like I advise my child, it is no different when I try to take a persuasive approach to my friend who has a gambling disorder. give him a little understanding from my point of view, advise him, let him decide the rest. For me, we can even advise ourselves when we are in a chaotic situation. in a way, armed with experience, yep, experience is the best teacher. However, there is absolutely nothing wrong with what you said. We have different assumptions and ways of thinking and that's what's unique about healthy discussions.

Now we refer to the theme of the title of this thread, "Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk".
as you said in your post, the point lies with us as perpetrators and gamblers. It's just that, sometimes what we say is not as easy as when we are in the gambling session phase. the problem is, emotions are always involved in it. and emotions are formed by situations, conditions, feelings, and many other things. Well, I say it once again, there are several points that I agree with what you said. in particular, on the last point. However, if it is not accompanied by self-control, responsibility and understanding as well as experience. then it will be difficult to control ourselves, whether in the winning phase or otherwise.

The importance of the role of family, no matter how bad it is for us to gamble, don't ever leave your family, let alone not be honest with them that you are a gambler, no one cares about your life, everyone may only be able to give advice and even that may be difficult for you to accept, because addicts will not can be cured only with advice without encouragement from those closest to him. for example, his family is very important.

I know how the process of healing gambling addiction is because I saw my friend do it himself because he had exceeded his normal limits as a gambler so he had to start from himself without having to involve other people, his family only gave him encouragement so that he could recover from his addiction. Finally, after several years, he managed to recover. Now he enjoys life without gambling and is happy with his family.
But there are still many who are not honest with their families, especially when it comes to gambling. They feel it is better to hide their gambling activities than to tell other family members, even though hiding their gambling activities from their family members can cause problems that they will never realize. And yes, if someone is addicted to gambling and gets advice from other family members, maybe they won't be able to accept it easily, and maybe there should be someone else outside the circle of family members who can advise him so that he wants to reduce his gambling activities.

Your friend is willing to realize his gambling addiction and is willing to learn to heal himself even though there is no family to help him and only encourage him. But maybe for him, that was enough, so he continued to undergo the process of healing his gambling addiction until he finally recovered. It requires very strong determination and effort, and perhaps only a few can do it.

Any reaction that you take will affect the next decision making that you\'ll going to take, like what you mentioned if we are in the winning side we will keep pushing to win more, while if we are in the losing side, we will try our luck to recover the money by adding more to our bankroll, those decision are being made after we experienced the adrenaline the lust inside you that will lead you to please that kind of enjoyment,

though if you get caught in the middle you will find yourself getting involved too much and you are starting to get addicted and the control is no longer available.
If we continue to indulge in gambling then we will not be able to manage the risks in gambling, the reactions of winning and losing as you mentioned above have an impact on behavior that is not recommended in gambling because if you win you will chase other wins and if you lose you will add more money to can recover losses on the next bet, if you always do these activities it will result in gambling addiction and the solution is to apply limits on the use of funds to limit gambling activities, if you are lucky to get a win or jackpot then it is better to stop betting to withdraw all the funds, if you bet again tomorrow then use funds according to the limit for daily gambling.

Right! Just like myself whenever i do make out some profits or wins on gambling for about $100 or more then i would really be calling it a day and never ever would be considering on continuing to play
because we do have that reality about that house do always win at the end on which on the time that you would really be making out some further gambling for the hopes of winning more
then you might really be losing all of those winnings back into the casino which it isnt really that great to feel at. Gambling isnt bad as long you do make yourself that responsible on what things you've been doing because if you do just simply ignore the risks and tolerate out your addiction then it would really be bringing up some disaster.

Good practice will allow you to add enjoyment to what you do, participating in gambling most of the time ends up losing your money, if you manage to make some and call for the day then it's  a good win for you, it's not always that you can make money so better to make a good use of that opportunity to enjoy and to celebrate using that winning amount.
If you do really play gambling for entertainment then it wont really be that much of an issue if you are someone who do play on full extent on a particular day since you have allocated an amount on which you are really that willing to lose or simply you would really be spending those until the last drop or making things long as possible. If you do win up then its not bad to call it a day or securing those profits and would be allocated on the same day. In my case whenever i do win up something big then i do buy a certain thing or gadget on which it is really that something that benefits my in long time.
I wont really be that something that leave you some regret if you do spend up on something worth.

Quitting gambling isnt an issue if you do find yourself that responsible or really that mindful about your actions because if you are already doing the opposite then it would
really be just that right that you should really be that quitting as soon as possible before things becomes more worst.

If gambling addicts are not aware that they have a gambling addiction that is endangering their lives, they may still return to gambling as usual. There is a possibility that they will gamble more often than usual. But if they are willing to think that what they are doing in gambling has made their lives a mess and are willing to accept that they are addicted to gambling, maybe it won't be too difficult to get them to a rehabilitation center or at least make them want to start doing something that can reduce the level of his gambling addiction. If they can accept and are willing to accept the invitation to change their gambling habits, maybe they don't need to go to a rehabilitation center and just make changes in their life to cure their gambling addiction. But it still requires hard work from the gambling addict and the people who will help him because the temptation of gambling can make him return to gambling again. But if not, the people who help him can advise him to go to a rehabilitation center to get the right treatment for him so that he can immediately do the necessary things to cure his gambling addiction.

Actually most of the gambling addicted person can't understand their addiction to the gambling sites after their big loss to the gambling sites. When the loss was happened in the gambling sites, the gambler should pause the game for few days and get the mind away from the gambling for few days.Once their mind was away from the gambling addiction and emotion was controlled. The gambler may start the gambling with small amount of the dollars,So he can understand the current time for the gambler was good or bad.If the gambler possess good time,he can increase the gambling bets,if he again possess the bad luck,it's better to hold for the certain period of time in the gambling. The rehabilitation center was not the good option to get away from the gambling addiction.
Once a person has developed a psychological need to gamble it becomes impossible for them to do what you suggest, they will simply think too much about gambling to the point they will begin to do it once again even when they consciously do not wish to do so, and at that moment the person needs to recognize they have a problem they cannot hope to face alone, confess what they have been doing to their family and receive the professional help they need.

A gambler should have the desire to heal himself. If someone else asks for it, maybe they won't react or won't accept it because there will be rejection from them. But if he accepts reality, he will definitely be willing to try to undergo therapy sessions. Even if he hasn't visited a rehabilitation center, maybe he will want to do something with the people around him to recover from his gambling addiction.

It's more of a peer to peer collaboration. The addict must be willing to open up with the therapist, to be able to give him the chances of changing him gradually. The healing process like you said is slow, that's why they'll need to create a friendship bond. Such that they'll never get tired of each other. During this period of emotional relationship, the therapist can know the gambler's dos and don't. Which will help him not to piss him off on the long run. Then causing more problem to the gambler, who may begin to think that nobody truly loves him. But if the therapist is able to understand his questions and make reasonable responses that will convince the gambler that he already understands right from the beginning the genesis of their problem. They'll be good to go. Like discussing freely about this and then offering advice to the gambler gradually. Mistakes that therapists make while trying to change addicted gamblers is that they begin to prescribe advice like it's drug to the addict. Instead of working on building a strong conversation with the addict. Nobody wants to be given numerous advises. It makes them feel less important. The addict only needs a person they can share their problems with and who can contribute the way the addicts wants to hear it. This is the only way, the addict can keep visiting the therapist, whenever he has a session. As he already enjoys the relationship bond he's created with the therapist. We all love having new friends, not just a new one, but a friend that seem to be better than all other friends in terms of changing our bad behaviors. That's the primary aim of a therapist on changing the lives of gambling addicts.
That is why gamblers who want to consult a therapist must be open enough to talk about their problems in their gambling activities. However, many don't want to admit that they are addicted to gambling, so this makes it difficult for those who want to help because there are always obstacles to starting the process. An experienced therapist will definitely know how to start a conversation with the addict because they already know that each addict's approach will be different, so that the therapist will use different methods too. They will not go straight to the heart of the problem, but they want to get to know the gambling addict first while finding out his background and what the problem is. The therapist will make the gambling addict feel comfortable in his place and will not realize that he is actually undergoing a therapy session. If it succeeds in attracting their attention, gambling addicts will not feel bored or uncomfortable seeing their therapist, and perhaps they will even ask to consult with their therapist when the therapist is not busy. It will create a close relationship between the therapist and the gambling addict so that it will make it easier for the therapist to start other therapy sessions to cure the gambling addict.

Gamblers should be able to rest their minds and bodies from gambling for a few days so that they don't remember what they have experienced. But unfortunately, that only applies to some gamblers, while others still choose to continue gambling so that they will only experience bigger losses. There is clear evidence that they actually have a gambling addiction, but they deny it and say that they are still fine. But if the gambler can resist the urge to return to gambling for a few days and can do other things, he can prevent the gambling addiction because his mind tells him that he must do other things so as not to think about the problem of gambling. He will also realize that he can return to gambling a week later or even a month later, and that is his way of avoiding gambling addiction.

~snip~
If better understanding and acceptance of their gambling activities dominates then the chance of coping back and trying to recover from this situation may take place, more on how gambler will react and accept his addiction, without that kind of thinking there's difficulty to adjust and to work on it to removed it from your daily activities.

It's your will to move forward and keep that gambling addiction away from you as a gambler, a self-resposibility that only you can fix in terms of completely skipping away.
If they can accept reality and admit that they have a gambling addiction, maybe healing will be easier because he has admitted their gambling addiction, and they need help to cure their gambling addiction. It also seems like he would have gotten more help if he had looked worse, so his therapist would have used a different approach as well.

It's actually not an easy task to make a gambler quit his gambling activities especially the addicted gamblers because not matter how you try to make them see reasons why they should stop gambling, they'll still want to gamble more. I've seen a gambler who was sent to the rehabilitation center before but still went back to gambling immediately he regained freedom from the rehab he was sent to.
Now that's why I think it's more necessary to convince  addicted gambleyr to accept that their addiction isn't good and would be very detrimental to their future. Make them see enough reasons to understand that gambling isn't good for them, accept to do away with gambling before sending them to a rehab facility to finally talk them out of gambling while engaging in other more meaningful things that'll help them forget about gambling

The issue is mainly recurrent issues, like being left behind as kids, not being attended to when they wanted something as a child. If they can be turned to believe that they're good enough, showing them, their idea matters etc. The gambler's sense of good humor will be restored. These are the few things that makes therapy easy for both the client and the therapist. In the sense that if the gambler who wants to quit is not allowed to express properly his feelings. He won't have a close relationship with the therapist. Also the therapist must also make effective responses to the ideas of the client. To make the client feel belonged and also open a space in his heart to see the therapist as his friend. Once this is achieved the whole process of changing a gambler gets simpler. If his family is caring enough to follow him to his therapy sessions it'll be a good move. Just to be sure he's going there. But, it's still rare to find such a caring home. Most families barely care about being this kind. And it worsens the gambler's situation. It also gets worse when the therapist doesn't know the right question and answers that'll bring the gambler to trust him with their problems. And open up to discuss further about how it all began. But, if he's lucky enough to find one that asks contributing questions that can change the perspective of the gambler to a better one. Then, the gambler will do his best to change and become a better person for his family and friends.
When a therapist can make a gambling addict feel something different from undergoing a healing session, maybe slowly, there will be changes in the gambling addict so that they will feel that what they are currently doing is working and making a difference, even though it is not very significant. The therapist also needs to grow the self-confidence of the gambling addict so that he can see that everyone has a second chance, which must be used well so that when he starts undergoing therapy sessions, he can feel that the second chance has started to come to him. He must use it as well as possible. -good. With the support of his family, who continues to accompany him throughout the therapy process, it is what can give him new enthusiasm to be able to quit gambling forever. He could also see genuine concern from everyone who helped him through the therapy sessions, and if he had questions, he would ask someone who understood and would get the answers. He could feel the sincere and warm love of his family waiting for him to return home.

The gambler will stay in the gambling, when they had continuous luck in the gambling, but the gambling was the game.So the gambler who had enough knowledge in the gambling will wait for the good luck in the later game. But the gambler who doesn't know how to handle the loss in the gambling will do the quit of the gambling without informing the co-gambler of the gambling site. The prediction was key for the gambler to complete the winning in the upcoming game, because the random prediction was the negative outcome in the gambling sites. So the gambler who was new to gambler will quit at their first loss into the gambling sites. The practice only help the gambler to made the exact bet into the gambling sites. So the gambler should spend time for the random bet into the gambling sites.
