Fails are so usual for ICOs' lack in supporting and investments from the participants of the cryptocurrency market. I think that fails could be avoided with the analyzing of experts for example.
Normal stock doesnt get 50/100% gains over days after its launching, sometimes the fact is hype is on and buyers are FOMO ing the entire market. Icos could fail on many reason, marketing is important but the crucial.is of course what investor could afford to pay, with the recent drop of crypto there isnt much money left to fund hundreds of ICOs popping up everyday
ICO is really risky. There are many ICO now that just want to steal money from their investors, and they are just good in the beginning, in just few months after the tokens distributed, and after that, their coin starts to dump until it will become nothing.
There are many reasons why most of the ICO's fail , one of the reason is lacking of a good team over the project itself. They also do not reach their softcap or their hardcap when the crowdsale started to finish. Also lack of advertisement from the community and their is poor community to their projects. Mostly now ICO's are just scams and no roadmap , whitepapers.
Sometimes, it does not meet e unawares when i see some ICOs fail. There are times that some of these projects are poorly managed by the team.
The first reason as for me is that market is absolutely overflowed by worthless ICOs and airdrops and it just scares people away, surely.

Investors ' attention is not the main thing that makes the project successful. Just all ICO bet on this, although you can go in other ways, such as Ethereum.

The frenzied success of individual projects has strengthened others in the opinion that it is easy and simple to raise financing through the ICO. Unfortunately, this is nothing more than a delusion. Attracting funding for your project from strangers is difficult, it should be so.

I think that many projects that use ICO to call for capital and fraudulent money in the eyes of ICO people are getting worse. That makes many investors less trust in the ICO also they only short-term investment and led to that ICO failed before reaching the final goal.
Now the failure of the project may not be related to its quality, but simply the General decline of the market. I expected that after entering the exchange, the token price would grow 10 times, and it fell 10 times!
I believe that most ICOs are failing because they are offering another "Bitcoin killer", not some new cool idea. Also, I know enough projects that failed because of bad marketing

Agreed. And to avoid fraud, many companies even manage to issue a token that is just a copy of an existing one and leave it to themselves.

Many ICO crypto projects fail because they are created only here to raise money, not to raise value, some of them just sell dreams, not to mention that some of them do not have any good ideas at all, but fail because do not understand the business side of their crypt project.
I totally agree with you that most ICOs are only for raising funds. However, their projects do not have any long-term development plans. When funds are raised, they will not be used to develop their projects, but will be used elsewhere.In other words, they just use an ICO to defraud a lot of money, and then maybe start a new ICO again.
