Requesting support for red flag on user "corlies" https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/colires-2827158
All proofs and statements are in the report against him https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--5288324
User was aditing contacting us for fake sale, after being caught and ignoring the request of escrow, he start to attack us with false non-proof based arguments, trying to cover his failed scam attempt by trying to connect us  with people with past shady activity.
His ignorance, arrogance and aggressive attitude after escrow request is more than a red flag there is something shady with this member

I have removed my support of the flag, and updated my post in this topic stating as much.

As I said in the other thread, support has now been withdrawn.

Hopefully "the powers that be" properly lock that account so we don't have a repeat of what went down a couple of months ago...
See:
I will request that theymos ban the "Lauda" account (u=101872)
Done. Lauda is banned in the same way as satoshi, such that it isn't possible to even log into the account anymore.

I request support for this Flag on the Lauda account https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=2398

In this topic they have expressed they are abandoning that account. This is a precaution against future potential scams.

The reasoning is sound and works for me.  Not every account should have a warning attached, but the author them-self suggested hacking or impersonation might occur.

SUPPORTED.

Hopefully "the powers that be" properly lock that account so we don't have a repeat of what went down a couple of months ago...

As I stated in the relevant topic, to which further discussion should be directed:

I don’t think that it is right, productive, or at all appropriate to place a big warning banner on all of Lauda’s old threads, such as the famous wallet thread and stickied rules threads (!).

Whoever was behind the Lauda account was and is trustworthy—only, no longer connected to the account, as of today.

That is why I red-tagged the account with negative feedback, and a statement explicitly beginning, “Starting with the date of this feedback...”  (And I was the first to tag the account.)

I considered raising a flag myself, then rejected the idea; and I have opposed your flag.

Edit: My response to Nullius in the other thread, only updating as it seems relevant to the post below. I will not be discussing this flag further in this thread.

That's fine and you are free to do so. The flag criteria is easily met for me moving forward from this day. Dealing with the account is a risk. reading what the account wrote is not. My own neutral feedback also states the value of some of their previous posts. i am not in anyway discussing the individual behind the Lauda account only the account itself.

This account has been abandoned. Do not deal with this account under any circumstances as it will not be the original owner. Beyond that please still learn from the informative posts they created here on the forum.

Edit: Forum admins have taken steps to lock the account permanently, in the same manner as the Satoshi account. I no longer see a warning flag as necessary with the Lauda account. I have removed my support for the flag.

As I wrote on your feedback: you're a Trust abuser. I'll let you have this post in my thread though, but I don't want to read your very long topic. Examplens is right: BTCU_official is only mentioned after hitting PageDown 60 times.

I've done some self-moderating on this subject, see https://loyce.club/archive/details/topic_5153445.html if you really want to read it.

Please support the flag for new Coinsbit sock puppet, which started a self moderated thread today! Thx!

When I see a topic like on the flag, I lost the will to read it all. There the damn book writer and posted all conversations. Tons of screenshots with "hi" messages on Telegram, etc... Need to spend too much time for one sock puppet account.
You should be a little more concise in exposition.
I am supported flag against user BTCU_ULTIMATE, whether they are the same accounts or it connects them in the same scam?

I have supported the flag because the same scammers are now using a self-moderated thread to try to steal from people and forum members need to be aware of it.

Flag not supported! I think you have to look at yourself...
For the future it would be good to add a direct link to the flag, to make it easier for us...

DT members, please support Type 1 Flag #2342 (scam accusation) against a probable fake newbie account that was created in 2017, suddenly woke up with a password change, made a false scam accusation against Prime Dice, and then turned around and promised to advertise a “no risky” dice profit strategy (ironically with statement of using “alotof alts accounts on primedice”).

Thank you.

I have also supported the flag!
Additionally I have left negative feedback in his profile.

It is really starting to annoy...

Best Regards

Flag supported.

No matter how small or trivial a scam might seem but a scam is a scam at the end of the day.
