it is loud
it needs about 2400 watts at 240 volts

it does not run on 120 volts"

I get why you did  but in my opinion  you dissed the new person looking for help and I would simply like his name since you deleted all the posts made today.

I will delete this  after I send the info on this to him.
He basically wanted help if needed.
I normally don't complain  But your editing  should have been less heavy handed.
As from my viewpoint a new guy asking for help should not be treated the way you did.
As I said just give me his name and I will send my post to him.

I made  this public in this thread  because I am annoyed at your choice of deletions.

you could have erased his quote of the op
deleted fuzzy's post complaining of the long quote
and left my simple polite accurate answer to him

Well the M10  I have does 68 to 70 watts a th  34500 at 2350 watts = 68.1 watts a th or damn!

And they now are talking about a 44th and a 55th m10s  all 16nm  truly impressive engineering.

My temps are really good in a 86f room fans are  5000-5100 rpm  boards are 73-73-75

I would like a lessor speed just for the ability to have  safety from a hot room  like 95f

When you say they are talking about 44th etc, do you mean Pangolin is talking about putting out M10s with those outputs?

Seems like a great unit. I am though waiting to see what Bitmain will come out with. 7nm, should be impressive.

or not..

many of their chips are not the leaders in efficiency .

They sell cheap gear cheap prices  been this way for a while in btc miners.

The thing is  if they put out a 30th at 2400 watts and sell it at  800-1000 it kills off everyone.

Electrical engineer. Mining since 2014.
Whatsminer.net says this "Dimension: 13.38″ x 7.87″ x 6.69″ / 34cm x 20cm x 17cm"
Microbt says this "390 mm (L): 130 mm (L): 220 mm (A)"

HaggsFIN or anyone that have it could please measure the total height of this gear? Including the psu.

Thanks

Hi!

MicroBT has it right.

Please see the technical specifications in my opening post.

I have checked and confirmed it,
those are the right dimensions.

and I just saw the announcement on ebang miner better on paper then this one. 45 watts a th at the wall 44th

Ebang is known for over-promising and under delivering. I got a long email chain with them from before but they seem more true to their word on this one. Time will tell and I think my email chain is getting my a front row seat to maybe getting my hands on on early since they know me on the forums. I might have to join this review bandwagon boys haha.

To bad market isn't dictating the pricing their retailers, sorry "distributors" are sell these at. Fun to see them in action and the asic competition is fierce to. Great work HF, I sent links to both yours and philips thread to a few manufacturers in hope to draw some new units your way.

Great review and write up. They are definitely a company to watch. As it is I could put 3 of these in to replace everything I'm running and and just about double my TH/s

Crazy doing this on 16nm. Hopefully sales go well and they can get their hands on some 7nm.

Do they give any info on the firmware or a github. If so I can probably make it happen like I did for the S9/i/j

I am really impressed by the M10 being on the 16nm process node.  Ever since they released the specifications been waiting for a review.  For myself it really reinforces the idea that being first to market on 7nm is not the right move.  If there is this much efficiency to be wringed out of 16nm then it would be best to take the time to optimize a full custom ASIC on 7nm.

I am trying to get on this bandwagon too. My friend that is a bulk buyer got his hands on 1 today but bulk seems to be the best route to get them fast and at a good price.
