Hypothetically speaking, if someone offers you $10,000 to hold in one coin, only condition is to hold it for 2 years, which coin would you choose to hold?

You can choose between only 2 coin, one is bitcoin and other one is ripple. What would you choose?

I would choose bitcoin. With that amount of money in bitcoin I have no doubt that I would be making a lot more money if I am holding the coin for two years. The best coins to hold are always the best coins in the market so along with bitcoin the next coin that I would choose to hold for the long term would be ethereum, undoubtedly the best altcoin in the market.

Bitcoin, in any case, is not only a functioning but also demanded technology. Ripple too, but Ripple's feature in the number of coins. With such a mass of and the way they are used, Ripple has a sad financial future.

Yes I never thought of rocking ripple else would have invested, ripple has become the star of the month as of now it over took ethereum which is a shocker for the whole world. But remember Bitcoin and it's reputation across the globe, very unique and best for long term investment.

Btc is controlled by chinese miners. I prefer xrp with his perfect management and smart strategy.

Wow, seriously? So you say that bitcoin is decentralized no longer but prefer to choose ripple instead because it is decentralized? The question was to choose between two cryptos I suppose, but there is only one crypto in this list

I don't believe in decentralization ))) All the market is terribly manipulated. Read about products developing by Ripple - xCurrent, xRapid, xVia, Coil, Codius, Cobalt update, MoneyTap launched with SBI today etc etc etc. That's I call market penetration, not the XVG/Pornhub partnership  Grin

Mass adoption will be faster with bitcoin than with ripple, I mean, if people were to do a Google Search on investment in cryptocurrencies, their first choice will be bitcoin more likely,

I would always choose bitcoin, bitcoin is the first and most decentralized crypto-currency to date, There is too much centralization in ripple I would imagine and bitcoin is the  first choice for most investments vehicle

Like what 84.7% of the poll say, I will prefer bitcoin. It already established itself as the number one coin and it already proves that hodling bitcoin will be worth it. This is the only coin that can recover from any price decrease regardless of the market situation. Bitcoin's popularity and demand can overcome any obstacles when it comes to price. It represent the whole crypto currency that is why a lot of people are supporting it.

In comparison between ripple and bitcoin. I choose bitcoin. Ripple is also a good cryptocurrency but in comparison to bitcoin it is not so good. Bitcoin price and popularity is the main reason behind this. In this time one bitcoin is equal to approximately 6299$where as ripple price is approx 0.22$. These thing attract towards bitcoin more then that of ripple. Bitcoin is also accepted by many country and multinational companies in comparison to ripple. And bitcoin also provide better transaction facility then that of ripple.

Between Ripple and Bitcoint, of course I will choose bitcoint if to be made a long-term investment and there is no need to doubt this, for short-term investments you can choose ripple because this coint can start to develop well

I would choose bitcoin. It already steadily grows for several years. For Ripple it is not known, it appeared quite recently and its price was raised on general raising of cryptocurrencies.

I only believe in Bitcoin. With such a huge ecosystem of the entire crypto sphere, Bitcoin's price can not fall below 6000 dollars.

To be honest, I prefer ripple rather than bitcoin. I am ripple because I feel the benefits of ripple are greater than the benefits of bitcoin. bitcoin only wins in popularity and public trust. This ripple is really useful for me because I can make it easier and faster to do cross-country transactions. I can save time in transacting transnational transactions. I can do lots of transactions at once in one time which is only a few minutes. I am sure that in the future the ripple will be more potentials

Bitcoin speculation is less hazardous than altcoins, no doubt I will pick Bitcoin, in the fact that the development of the digital money market alludes to the development of Bitcoin prices. I am certain that bitcoin will keep on surviving whenever with prices.BTC is the best choice even regardless of on elective cryptocurrencies and Ripple.

Of course I will choose Bitcoin, because the movement of the cryptocurrency market refers to the movement of Bitcoin prices, and we pay attention to the altcoin price is difficult to rise if the price of Bitcoin is still down.

The safest place to hedge and hope for some profit is bitcoin, Bitcoin investment is less risky than altcoins, the altcoins can give you x5 and can at the same time crash more than five times but bitcoin is the most stable among all cryptocurrencies, here I should be concerned, security and few profits

If I were to choose between the two to hold for 2 years starting now then to be on the safe side I will choose bitcoin because we don't after two years of holding if it will be a bear market or not. But if it's trading for 2 years then I will choose ripple for better ROI.
